On daad you can narrow your search ro related courses(those that are very close to your dream course), plus you can also go to the school's website like someone suggested or you use goodle 'english taught master program' with the name of your prefered schools. Check out frei and humboldt universities... These are one of the best ranked schools in Berlin and Germany. Cheers.

Okay. This just confirmed that you have mis-understood my posts all the while. Same as everyone who has commented. I never stated or implied that I searched for courses beginning in the summer only. I said all boxes were unchecked, which meant that I was considering both summer and winter. About you saying I never wan go school: that I searched for schools in Berlin does not mean I am stereotyped, desiring to study in Berlin alone. Berlin is not the only place where you have the top schools. Infact, no school in Berlin is even among the top 8 in Germany.

Bros, this that you have stated here is mere theory o. Daad is one of the most comprehensive search engines one could come across, so it has nothing to hide. With 'Berlin' selected in the 'location>city' section, and all other boxes unchecked to allow for the maximum number of outcomes, there was no single institution; public or private offering tuition-free MSc programmes in engineering. Maybe you missed the 'engineering' part
before posting your comment.

The only clause here may be that such schools actually exist but are not in daad's database. If you have knowledge of this, I would appreciate you listing them. Danke!

Please and please don't try this in Berlin, less you risk not getting appointment to get your resident permit. Nobody will give you job without your resident and work permit, you will only delay your hustle. Also, here in Berlin you get 2 years straight and it doesn't matter when you applied, it starts reading from the day your visa was issued or from the day you left Nigeria depending on who attend to you.

Everything here is by appointment (even to open a bank account) unlike other small city where you can work up there and be attended to.

Insightful, brother. There are not many people on this thread in Berlin. It beats me why public institutions there have deviated from the tuition-free policy in Germany. They all require you to cough out 4000-5000 per semester.
NB: This premise was arrived at based on my search for MSc programmes in Engineering.

Authenticate your bachelors degree cert, weac/neco, referrence letters and anything academic that you want to submit for your admission. You can authenticate in any notary public office(if u stay in Abuja I have someone I can give you her no), ministry of education, ministry of foreign affairs. Any of the above will be okay. You can do the three all together of you want. That was what I did.

@18wheeler, what are the grades available for B.Sc holders, starting from the grade you will be placed on after passing through banking school? I mean the clearly defined career path from entry grade till AGM.

If it's in a branch. then its likely not exco chat and you may end up in the branch. is it not OK with you? then request for a relocation to your preferred location though I doubt it will be granted. your preferred location may have no vacancy so you are considered for another. Goodluck in your interview.

More so, is it likely that the recruitment process will be faster than usual since a branch where there is a need has specifically been identified? (Also looking like there is real urgency since the branch is the one interviewing in this case).

I got my interview invite today for the position of businss banker. I wrote my test on 5th june. BTW, was this a co-incidence or what! This morning, I sent a mail to @18wheeler to help me enquire about my status. I got no response from him but the interview mail came in this evening. The interview is to hold @ a branch on the mainland, with two people listed as contact persons (I suppose these are HR persons rather than the interviewers-to-be). The mail says 'Stanbic IBTC invites you for an interview'. Now, what baffles me is if this will also include exco chat, considering that it's holding @ a branch. Also, since interviews usually hold at the head office, how likely is it that this same branch where I'll be interviewing is where I will resume if given the offer? House, your contribution is needed, please.

1. Do u have a detailed description of your function as a personal banker?
2. Are u going to be a marketer?
3. Would your marketing be based on deposit or credit achievement?
4.What would be your KPI's?
5. Considering that stanbic ibtc's entry level is ABO (I may be wrong), would you be given the next grade (supposedly BO) if coming in as an experienced hire who is currently on entry level at their present bank. NB: Your entry level in your present bank is less than the grade of an ABO. What factors determine the grade you will be given, generally?

Contributions from the entire house would also be appreciated.
