RomanceRe: TRUE LOVE IS HARD TO FIND, TRUE OR FALSE by Localamos(m): 6:11pm On Jun 02, 2011
the truth is you attract your type. Meanwhile, we tend to expect the other person to fit in to a certain criteria.

Now, the problem comes when our expectations are different from what we really are, that is where the problem comes.

Eg. A sales exec friend of mine who works in a brewery in Lagos, travels all over the country to sell their popular brand. Now, he each time he is out of lagos, he doesn't sleep alone in his hotel room - and his wife doesn't follow him on his numerous trips (You know where I'm heading with this)

One fateful day after a trip to the north, he came home and discovers his wife has hot pants for some other guy. You can imagine the guy went crazy and nearly tore down his whole house.

I won't tell you what happened afterall, but this guy married his kind, and he still is not happy - simply because his expectations are at a variance to his natural self.

What I'm trying to say is that we naturally attract our kind. So, if you want to find true love, you must begin with changing yourself.
Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo Acquires Yet Another N4.5b Private Jet by Localamos(m): 12:18pm On Apr 09, 2011
@switchmax, pls don't be so abusive. We're just sharing ideas here. Pls let's address the issues and not the contributors.

@bros1234, I like your insight, conviction and sense of serenity. You know how to stick to the issues rather than taking things personally. Interesting.

@ everybody, pls let us learn to respect the fact that this man runs a very large multi-facetted ministry. These aircrafts, I should believe, are meant for running the operations of the ministry, and not for Oyedepo's personal gratification. I read some people cast aspertions on Bishop's congregations, that they are poor and are fools. Well, the few that I know, are doing fine in their various endeavours.

Lastly, ask yourself: even if you don't pay it in Oyedepo's church, do you pay your tithe at all? Do observe to do the commands of the Living God?
RomanceRe: Are People Really Born Gay by Localamos(m): 10:26pm On Apr 06, 2011
I agree that any physical or emotional manifestation has its roots from the spiritual. But let's look at the psychological developments from when the individual was an infant.

My little study of biology lets me know that erogeneous nerve endings are vastly disrtibuted all over the body of the infant. That means a child is erotically stimulated when it is touched. They derive a lot of comfort from touch and from being carried. And that is why they bond very strongly with adults that carry them.

As the child develops, his love needs develop. He wants to be fed, carried, talked to etc. Where the mother is availble to give such cares, and affection given is excessive, that can make the child fixated on the image of the woman. The child may become even more fixated if the father figure is emotionally cold, harsh and uncaring.

The child's need for love of the father figure is soon repressed into his sub conscious and that acts as his underlying motivation.

Now as the child grows older, he grows into the age of sexual curiosity. Note that the crave for love from his father figure is his underlying motivation, so he finds himself attracted to beings that take the form of his father figure - boy or man. This is how the female oriented gay is developed.

If you're interested in knowing other forms of homosexuality (male type of gay, lesbianism, bisexuality) pls mail me localamos@yahoo.com. You'd be surprised that there are many more other forms of psychsexual anomalies.
PoliticsRe: Reuters----80% Lagosians Will Vote Jonathan. How True? by Localamos(m): 9:33pm On Apr 06, 2011
this poll is 100% FALSE! You'd surprised that BB will pull an upset at this election.

People will vote with their heads and not with emotions, and that is what will bring to power, the team that will come and clean up all the mess PDP have caused.
Christianity EtcRe: Are Olodumare And "god/allah" The Same Entity/concept/word? by Localamos(m): 12:31am On Apr 06, 2011
Rather than say ''who is God?'' I think you guys have been discussing ''What is God?''

Each man or woman has been trying to describe ''God'' in line with his theological, academic, religeous or analytical perception. And that is why people express their differing opinions with such ferrocious passion - and yet fail to convince the others, who are themselves overtly opinionated.

I am a man. To my wife, a husband. To my kids, a father. To my mother, I'm son. One man, but perceived severally, yet differently. So is this God. He is perceived in many different dimensions, based on relationship with Him or based on our supposed knowledge of Him.

Even somewhere in the Bible, some people knew there was a God which they really don't know. For this reason the worshipped 'An Unknown God'. To them, that was how they perceived him, and they worshipped Him as such.
RomanceRe: Lust Or Love? by Localamos(m): 12:00am On Apr 06, 2011
God is Love. If you want to understand true love, then you need to know God.

You want to get into her pants, That's lust

Love at fist sight exists. That's what Jacob had for Rachael (bible story).

While love built over time is what Leah hoped for by bearing so many children for Jacob.

Infatuation is the magical feeling attracting someone to another without realising that there are commitments and sacrifises to be made in a relationship.
PoliticsRe: NL Official Presidential Opinion Poll by Localamos(m): 8:10pm On Apr 05, 2011
The intelligent working class who are tired of seeing curroption will vote BB into power. While the emotionally stricken few who lack knowledge that obasanjo is using GEJ, will hope in vain for a 'lucky' swing.

It's a good thing to know that nigerians are tired of the shenanigans of the PDP.

RomanceRe: What Does It Mean When A Man Says He Wants Everything But A Relationship? by Localamos(m): 1:47am On Apr 03, 2011
He means he doesn't want you to call him back after each time he b*ngs you. A woman who falls for that cr*p has turned herself to a tool which is retrieved when the need arises, only to be kept away after finishing it's job.
RomanceRe: How Do You Confront A Married Man Who Does Not Know That You Know He Is Married? by Localamos(m): 1:36am On Apr 03, 2011
Tell him point blank that you know. If he's a player, he could still be cool with it, but are you sure you want such complications in your life?
PoliticsRe: NL Official Presidential Opinion Poll by Localamos(m): 1:29am On Apr 03, 2011
For those of you that want to vote for PDP and GEJ, remember that you cannot put new wine in an old wine skin.

Don't fall for the euphoria of 'change', rather I dare challenge you to stand for change. Let's change the party that has looted this country senselessly for the past 12 years.
PoliticsRe: NL Official Presidential Opinion Poll by Localamos(m): 1:18am On Apr 03, 2011
The PDP is an overfed monster with tentacles spread all over the country, sucking dry our vast resources and yet has an insatiable appetite for more.

GEJ is a mere clueless puppet in the scheme of things, who continues to utter unpresidential remarks and compromises the core values of intergrity which our people yearn for.

Vote for Jonathan at your own peril.
