Sorry to say, the guy you quoted is actually right. And in the really sense 1 cedi has no intrinsic value...

For intense what 58naira can get you in Nigeria, you will need up to 5 cedis to buy the same items.

Illustration: If I buy a phone for N58 in Nigeria, you will need up to 6 CEDI's to buy the same phone, which invariably means that Ghanaians would have to spend more to buy the same phone (N348).

Mr Poster, it is OK to say from all indication that you lack basic knowledge about Economics and Monetary policy... The Ghanian currency does not have better value than the Nigeria currency....

Speaking from experience, I attended one of the most prominent polytechnic ( before crossing over to the university) in the country. A class of 126 students and I can say categorically that none of us are from a wealthy home. Most are from the middle class while the rest are from homes with limited means.

I thought they say polytechnics teaches practical knowledge, and you would be good in practical stuff. Does it mean that rich and wealthy people don't want their kids to acquire practical knowledge or is there something they are not telling us?

Approaching female personnel at the first instance is not the issue but what her reaction would be thereafter is not what you can control. It is within your control when you decide to woo her but when you make that move, its no longer in your Control anymore.

What if she is in a bad mood, and ask you to do frog jump, what if she pinned your head, what if?? one thing with civilian female is that you can be persistent when she refuse to give you the required attention but the same can not be said about a female personnel.

That's how I was so into a female personnel in Bukavu barracks that I knew the day, date and time she would be at her post, because of her, I dedicate my Thursdays to pick up my little niece from "command"... She eventually noticed me, but mind no gree me.

She has this feminine nature which is her selling point but she try to suppress it by behaving like a tout, always speaking incoherent language.

I eventually get over her, and stop the Thursday trips.. one day my sister told me that she asked about me, then its due on me, that she also noticed me.

Poor people trying to earn a living ambushed by another set of poor people trying to earn a living. All this happened in a poor environment, with poor security personnel who were forced not to protest their poor living conditions. Believe it or not, this country is been operated like a sweatshop.
