Why do God allow innocent people to suffer and die? this are people who pray to him daily, this are children who have done nothing to him.

Sixteen thousand people have die so far in Turkey after a devastating earthquake hit the city of Adana. If God is so powerful as Christians and Muslims and other religion have claimed, why don't he stop the earthquake. Life footage shows trapped children and adult, people hanging around hoping their love ones would be pulled out of the ground. Yet all this people have been praying to this suppose God. It is clear to me that God allow people to suffer.
