Sweetlemon: lol! you still are not getting me! meanwhile who are the people raping my hometown?? is it that aboki selling tomatoes by the road side or my governor, senator and L.G cahirman who are storing up loot in foreign countries?
Read all my post.

Who is giving your governor, senator and L.G cahirman money? ABOKIS THAT OWN YOUR OIL WELLS!
PoliticsRe: Please Nigerians!!!!!!!!!!! by LogicMind: 12:41pm On May 21, 2012
we all love our hometowns, but accepting your hometowns to rraped repeatedly while you shout one nigera is mind-boggling.

What makes an aboki more qualified than your own people to own oil wells in your hometown?

Effwazobia: She could be from Akwa Ibom, but also heavily detached from the affairs of her home state. She could be one of the Akwa Ibomites in diaspora or in Lagos, that only gets to see Akwa Ibom during festive periods. However, this much I can tell, she does not sound likes somebody that live in Akwa Ibom
Well that would be even worse because if she were in diaspora or even lagos, she would have seen how places with much less resources than her state have developped while uyo is one of the worst capital cities in nigeria. She surely can't be proud of that and claim to be in a normal mental state.

Sweetlemon: Oh! so it is now the northeners that are responsible for the problems in Akwa-Ibom ba? lol! so where will you place our past and present sate govs, deputies, house of assembly members, local govt chairmen etc who have private resorts in foreign countries courtesy of our oil money? where?
Are you sure you are really from akwa ibom? Because if true, then the level of brainwashing you have undergone is absolutely amazing.

Ilaje44: You meant without amalgamation, we would not have been in this mess? Perhaps not! However on the other hand, I am quite confident that without amalgamation, we would probably have had the same problem. Both the Northern and Southern Niger Protectorates were not at all homogenous entities. The best way forward is not disintegration. It should be the last option. We as humans should be in a position to learn. The Europeans are giving good examples. Amalgamation is not the cause of the woes... Before amalgamating, villages were fighting villages and using the SKULLs of their killed enemies to drink palmwine. The problem is inherent in our AFRICAN/NIGERIAN mentalities, which is still majorly at a very primitive level.
What is your solution? Be realistic.
PoliticsRe: Please Nigerians!!!!!!!!!!! by LogicMind: 11:41am On May 21, 2012
Sweetlemon: Now youb will understand why I say that breaking up the country will just be cosmetic as long as these problems persist
Think of a child suffering from malaria because he is bitten by mosquito and develops the following symptoms: fever, headache, sweats, chills and vomiting.

You are suggesting we ignore the mosquito and treat headach, fever etc. Those are temporariry fixes. although they work, as soon as the child gets bitten again by mosquito, it will suffer all over again. Fighting malaria will not eradicate it neither. My solution: Exterminate the mosquitoes and the child will suffer no more.

Ilaje44: And the CAUSE of the disease among others are the followings:

Lack of vision on the part of the leaders
Lack of proper education of the Nigerian populace
Lack of proper enlightenment of the general Nigerian populace
Religious overzealotry
Misplaced priorities
The worship of material riches
Selfishness

No sir.
Those are the symptoms of the disease.
The cause is almagamation of diverses nations into one useless country called nigeria.
We need to de-amalgamate to get better.

I was banned by the christian zealot moderator jesoul after i made the mistake of quoting the bible to support my assertions.

Sweetlemon: ak47mann, Onlytruth, and Logic mind. from your recent posts it's obvious you guys do not understand my message here. Or maybe you underate me because I'm just a young woman? Ok, let me summarise my msg here:
WE SHOULD NOT FIGHT OURSELVES BUT OPEN OUR EYES TO SEE THAT IT IS THE LEADERS WHO HAVE PUT SO MUCH HATE IN US THAT WE SHOULD BE DIRECTING OUR ANGER AT AND NOT OURSELVES. BOKO HARAM IS FUNDED BY POLITICIANS SAME WAY MEND AND MASSOB AND WHATEVER MILLIATNT GROUP ARE POLITICAL. FIGHT THE DISEASE AND NOT THE SYMPTOMS! AND WHILE WE ARE AT IT, LET US WORK ON OURSELVES. MOST NIGERIANS ARE NATURALLY SELFISH AND THAT IS WHAT GAVE BIRTH TO CORRUPTION! LET US WORK ON THIS BECAUSE THIS SAME PROBLEMS WILL COME TO HAUNT US IN OUR NEW COUNTRIES. And that is the bitter truth.
I say
FIGHT THE CAUSE OF THE DISEASE.

moderattor: Now i understand
You must be an Atheist smiley

To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms - this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of true religiousness.
( Albert Einstein - The Merging of Spirit and Science)
World's greatest scientist ever.
That's his opinion though cheesy
You sound like one who is easily impressed.

"But that which I know is that wisdom to one is foolishness to another and radiant beauty to the west is abominable whoredom elsewhere. When your dull faculties comprehend this, you will experience another primitive feeling altogether".
(Logic Mind - The reply to moderator)

I tell you. When Biafra comes, we will have to really negociate with these people to see if they want to join us because their mentality is really shocking sometimes.

Ilaje44:
BTW, not that I share your sentiments on the absolute side, but to put those who always fear the bloody aftermath, and the economic chaos thereafter of a disintigrated Nigeria, and often come up with the arguement that no Nations have been better after fighting a war of independence, I say here you go: Authentic NATIONS that have fared well after winning their War of Independence are those countries above and these ones below:

Slovenia (from Serbian dominance)
Croatia (from Serbian dominance)
Bosnia i Herzegovina (from Serbia dominance)
even Kosovo (From Serbia dominance)
Indonesia (Independent from the Netherlands)
Brazil (Independent from Portugal)
Israel (independent from UK's Mandate and right of abode in Palestine against Arabs)
China (Beijing) - independent from imperial Japan's occupation

A lot of Nigerians dont wanna die, but surely wanna make heaven. Nigerian magic if you ask me. Anyway, I believe if Nigeria as a country play on a fair ground, we have a better chance of building a greater State as a united "country" than when we split into many countries. Although I prefer we remain one country, this however does not imply I like the mess of a country we have right now. Even at my age, I wont mind joining a revolution that will restructure NIGERIA.

If I join such a revolution, my goals would include:

Keeping the country one,
Making her a Federation / Confederation in the like of Canada OR Switzerland
Education regional - exclusive
Culture / language - regional exclusive
Commerce and Industry - Concurrent
Agriculture - Concurrent
Religion - total state abstinence, salvation should be an individual private thing
Police - federal, pronvincial, communal police with checks and balances. All legally registered political parties and representative of the general public must be elected into the Police governing board

The executive Council of State - will include the premiers/Governors of all the regions. The President of Nigeria will be chosen among the members of this gremium.

Legislation will be Unicamera

The sum of the component of Nigeria are greater than each component if we positively tap on the synergy of being a country.

All countries in europe has at one time or another fought for independence from other nations that wanted to dominate them. When they finally came to their senses, they decided to remain independent countries but cooperating willingly with each other.
Nigeria is made up of nations cooperating forcefully with each other. It has not worked. It is not working. It will never work.

Sweetlemon: Like I said earlier, breaking up Nigeria is not a bad thing in itself but its just not the answer! Pls people, think about it. Think about EVERYTHING happening in Nigeria today, ask yourself questions then find honest answers. Lastly think about the bloody, pathetic, devastating war that will surely come before a break-up (Let's not deceive ourselves that it will be a peaceful break-up) think about how while we will all be here fighting to survive the war, our leaders and their families would probably be safely tucked away with their loot in some exotic private island abroad! Think about how foolish that will make us look.
the reasons you are giving for not breaking up are pathetic.

PoliticsPakistan Blocks Twitter by LogicMind(op): 1:37pm On May 20, 2012
(Reuters) - Pakistan on Sunday blocked access to Twitter in response to "blasphemous" material posted by users on the microblogging and social networking website, a senior government official said.

"This has been done under the directions of the Ministry of Information Technology. It's because of blasphemous content," said Mohammed Yaseen, chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

"They (the ministry) have been discussing with them (Twitter) for some time now, requesting them to remove some particular content," he said.

Pakistan blocked access to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and about 1,000 other websites for nearly two weeks in May 2010 over blasphemous content.

Any representation of the Prophet Mohammad is deemed un-Islamic and blasphemous by many Muslims, who constitute the overwhelming majority in Pakistan.

PTA chairman Yaseen did not specify which users or messages had prompted the ban. The Internet Service Providers Association of Pakistan said its members have been asked to block Twitter indefinitely, but no reason has been provided by the government.

Yaseen said the ban would be lifted after ongoing discussions between the Pakistan government and Twitter about the allegedly blasphemous material are resolved.

Officials from the Ministry of Information Technology and from Twitter were not immediately available for comment.

Twitter has become increasingly popular in Pakistan in recent years, its users including politicians and government officials.

PoliticsRe: President Jonathan's Speech At Enugu Is Treasonable by LogicMind: 9:40am On May 20, 2012
egift: PointB:
You are right. But let me straighten it.
1. Since everyone has been complaining about the 1914 event did anyone complain NO. What we are stating here is the fact that as President, Jonathan do no have the right or luxury to question or speak against the Nigerian Territorial Integrity, if he do, it amounts to Treason. Why because he took an oath that as President.
2. If he feels there is need for a reform there applicable laws. But not to be lambasting Nigeria at a burial ceremony (of all places). That resurrects the question, if he is a mumu that do not understand his job description
3. If he wants to wants to become an activity, he is free. But MUST step down. Office of the President is for implementing solution, unifying, protecting and developing the Nation in a way that benefits and empower the people. And not for looting and questioning our Nationhood.
4.If Jonathan and his administration are working in the interest of Nigerians, nobody will call for any SNC. But alas, its the Jonathan's "people" that are spear-heading the call, WHY - because the man just "have weight and occupy space alone".
shut up. you have been proved wrong.
PoliticsRe: List The Problems In Nigeria And Your Possible Solution by LogicMind: 9:39am On May 20, 2012
I think nigeria is on the right track to self destruction. Abokis are already panicking and blowing themselves up. Yorubas are shouting and running around like headless chickens. South south are rearming themselves. Igbos refuse to pack and go despite threats to life, ready for all eventualities. Middle belt are in "silence-before-the-storm" mode.

I give nigeria 3 to 5 more years of existence.
