useless country led by brain-dead old men. |
^^^^^^ I was really hoping you wouldn't show up because we don't want this thread to turn into a jihad propaganda. |
not if i join in. ![]() |
Sweetlemon: lol! you still are not getting me! meanwhile who are the people raping my hometown?? is it that aboki selling tomatoes by the road side or my governor, senator and L.G cahirman who are storing up loot in foreign countries?Read all my post. Who is giving your governor, senator and L.G cahirman money? ABOKIS THAT OWN YOUR OIL WELLS! |
we all love our hometowns, but accepting your hometowns to rraped repeatedly while you shout one nigera is mind-boggling. What makes an aboki more qualified than your own people to own oil wells in your hometown? |
Okija Priest: If my guess is right, by now you should be banned and any second now, your post would be deleted...Yes now. How else do you expect descendants of cowardice to show their bravery? |
Effwazobia: She could be from Akwa Ibom, but also heavily detached from the affairs of her home state. She could be one of the Akwa Ibomites in diaspora or in Lagos, that only gets to see Akwa Ibom during festive periods. However, this much I can tell, she does not sound likes somebody that live in Akwa IbomWell that would be even worse because if she were in diaspora or even lagos, she would have seen how places with much less resources than her state have developped while uyo is one of the worst capital cities in nigeria. She surely can't be proud of that and claim to be in a normal mental state. |
Sweetlemon: Oh! so it is now the northeners that are responsible for the problems in Akwa-Ibom ba? lol! so where will you place our past and present sate govs, deputies, house of assembly members, local govt chairmen etc who have private resorts in foreign countries courtesy of our oil money? where? Are you sure you are really from akwa ibom? Because if true, then the level of brainwashing you have undergone is absolutely amazing. |
Ilaje44: You meant without amalgamation, we would not have been in this mess? Perhaps not! However on the other hand, I am quite confident that without amalgamation, we would probably have had the same problem. Both the Northern and Southern Niger Protectorates were not at all homogenous entities. The best way forward is not disintegration. It should be the last option. We as humans should be in a position to learn. The Europeans are giving good examples. Amalgamation is not the cause of the woes... Before amalgamating, villages were fighting villages and using the SKULLs of their killed enemies to drink palmwine. The problem is inherent in our AFRICAN/NIGERIAN mentalities, which is still majorly at a very primitive level. What is your solution? Be realistic. |
Sweetlemon: Now youb will understand why I say that breaking up the country will just be cosmetic as long as these problems persistThink of a child suffering from malaria because he is bitten by mosquito and develops the following symptoms: fever, headache, sweats, chills and vomiting. You are suggesting we ignore the mosquito and treat headach, fever etc. Those are temporariry fixes. although they work, as soon as the child gets bitten again by mosquito, it will suffer all over again. Fighting malaria will not eradicate it neither. My solution: Exterminate the mosquitoes and the child will suffer no more. |
Effwazobia: Bros, you almost had me fooled. I thought you were the real "BEAF". Are you that obsessed with "BEAF" that you has to use his handle? Na wao, you get time shano mind Yoruba people. na so so follow follow and copy copy them only dey good for. oily soup damaged brains |
Ilaje44: And the CAUSE of the disease among others are the followings:No sir. Those are the symptoms of the disease. The cause is almagamation of diverses nations into one useless country called nigeria. We need to de-amalgamate to get better. |
icon2: Is nairaland under managed by seun? Though he is the founder, but the forum is over five years old but yet to record up to 1M active members .... What do you think seun should do to improve on this?he is on the right track with his ghost membership program. Ban people so they create new accounts. I person, 15 accounts = 15 members! Continue but there will only be one LOGIC MIND The only and only great intelligent monkey on NL. |
There are no rules Moderators make them up as they go along. I was banned in islamic section because I asked how I could resist yummy bacon and sausage temptation if I become a moslem. I was banned by the christian zealot moderator jesoul after i made the mistake of quoting the bible to support my assertions. when i called her out, she said i have not been member long enough for her to justify her actions. You see. No rules Yoruba forum Yoruba moderation What do you expect? |
Sweetlemon: ak47mann, Onlytruth, and Logic mind. from your recent posts it's obvious you guys do not understand my message here. Or maybe you underate me because I'm just a young woman? Ok, let me summarise my msg here:I say FIGHT THE CAUSE OF THE DISEASE. |
moderattor: Now i understandYou sound like one who is easily impressed. "But that which I know is that wisdom to one is foolishness to another and radiant beauty to the west is abominable whoredom elsewhere. When your dull faculties comprehend this, you will experience another primitive feeling altogether". (Logic Mind - The reply to moderator) NL greatest monkey ever. |
ak47mann: i dont think OP is close to reality i feel sorry for herI tell you. When Biafra comes, we will have to really negociate with these people to see if they want to join us because their mentality is really shocking sometimes. |
Ilaje44: [size=13pt]All countries in europe has at one time or another fought for independence from other nations that wanted to dominate them. When they finally came to their senses, they decided to remain independent countries but cooperating willingly with each other. Nigeria is made up of nations cooperating forcefully with each other. It has not worked. It is not working. It will never work. |
moderattor: Did you just smoke ganja?no o i only read genesis. has the same effect. |
Sweetlemon: Like I said earlier, breaking up Nigeria is not a bad thing in itself but its just not the answer! Pls people, think about it. Think about EVERYTHING happening in Nigeria today, ask yourself questions then find honest answers. Lastly think about the bloody, pathetic, devastating war that will surely come before a break-up (Let's not deceive ourselves that it will be a peaceful break-up) think about how while we will all be here fighting to survive the war, our leaders and their families would probably be safely tucked away with their loot in some exotic private island abroad! Think about how foolish that will make us look.the reasons you are giving for not breaking up are pathetic. |
Kobojunkie: Really? Nairaland needs another one of these dumb threads created, after the last, one, about 10 or so minutes ago??why don't you create a less dumd one? |
whatever |
*Ileke-IdI:please stay on topic |
Tony Spike: Lesson learnt: never under-estimate the power of the human intellect, for it is God-given,yes o. where would god be without human intellect? |
my tax will go to biafra instead of abuja. |
(Reuters) - Pakistan on Sunday blocked access to Twitter in response to "blasphemous" material posted by users on the microblogging and social networking website, a senior government official said. "This has been done under the directions of the Ministry of Information Technology. It's because of blasphemous content," said Mohammed Yaseen, chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). "They (the ministry) have been discussing with them (Twitter) for some time now, requesting them to remove some particular content," he said. Pakistan blocked access to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and about 1,000 other websites for nearly two weeks in May 2010 over blasphemous content. Any representation of the Prophet Mohammad is deemed un-Islamic and blasphemous by many Muslims, who constitute the overwhelming majority in Pakistan. PTA chairman Yaseen did not specify which users or messages had prompted the ban. The Internet Service Providers Association of Pakistan said its members have been asked to block Twitter indefinitely, but no reason has been provided by the government. Yaseen said the ban would be lifted after ongoing discussions between the Pakistan government and Twitter about the allegedly blasphemous material are resolved. Officials from the Ministry of Information Technology and from Twitter were not immediately available for comment. Twitter has become increasingly popular in Pakistan in recent years, its users including politicians and government officials. source: http://uk.reuters.com/article/2012/05/20/uk-pakistan-twitter-ban-idUKBRE84J05520120520 |

egift: PointB:shut up. you have been proved wrong. |
I think nigeria is on the right track to self destruction. Abokis are already panicking and blowing themselves up. Yorubas are shouting and running around like headless chickens. South south are rearming themselves. Igbos refuse to pack and go despite threats to life, ready for all eventualities. Middle belt are in "silence-before-the-storm" mode. I give nigeria 3 to 5 more years of existence. |
