So the postponement of the election closer to the Easter break may after all HARM the already dwindling electoral chances of GEJ rather than boosting them, as millions of Igbos across the country WILL MOST CERTAINLY leave their states of residence, as usual, and troop back to their states of origin? |

There are indications that the national leadership of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party might have perfected a fresh strategy aimed at stalling the March 28 presidential election. Investigations by our correspondent in Abuja on Thursday and Friday showed that the ruling party was actually the brain behind those who registered Young Democratic Party and that it may use this new party to achieve its objective. The new party had on Thursday asked the Independent National Electoral Commission to postpone the forthcoming general elections. The party said this a day after the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the commission to register YDP as a political party. At a press briefing in Abuja, the party called on INEC to re-schedule the general elections if it could not accommodate it on its ballot paper. It said that contrary to insinuations, the court did not order INEC to only register the party, but added that the commission was ordered to issue certificate and include YDP in the 2015 elections. National Publicity Secretary of YDP, Mr. Ugo Nwofor, said there were only two options available to INEC, saying the commission could either reprint its ballot papers and include the party with a view to accommodate the party’s candidates or shift the elections. Nwafor said, “If INEC does not have the appropriation for logistics for reprinting of its ballot papers then INEC ought to within the constitutional provision further re-schedule the general election so as to accommodate our party. “In either of the two options, our party is ready, it has been a long journey for YDP; we wish INEC would explore the first option.” Shortly after the press briefing, one of the brains behind the YDP was seen at the national headquarters of the PDP in Abuja on Thursday evening, where he said he had come to confer with some of its officers. DRANOEL:1. This is exactly what we have been trying to drum into the ears of some nincompoops here, whose level of intelligence is too low to understand that 2015 presents A BIG TWIST of realities on the grounds for GEJ and GMB. 2. While GMB is enjoying an unprecedented, and largely unexpected, SURGE in his popularity ACROSS ALL THE REGIONS (compared with his performance in 2011), GEJ is battling with an unprecedented, and largely unexpected, DROP in his popularity ACROSS ALL THE REGIONS (compared with his performance in 2011). 3. With GEJ getting FEWER votes in in ALL the 36 states than he got in 2011 and GMB getting MORE votes in ALL the 36 states than he got in 2011, the final outcome of the election is almost a foregone conclusion. |
Kentrasso:Cheer up, lady! Whatever problem you have, may not be as bad as you perceive it. And some of your friends, colleagues, neighbours and passers-by you see out there going about their normal businesses, smiling and laughing, might be having far WORSE problems than yours! |
Trailblazer1:1. But think about it! Have you ever heard Mrs Buhari and Garba Shehu (GMB campaign's director of media) using those disrespectful or insulting words (clueless, drunkard, etc) against the person of GEJ? 2. If it were just ordinary online supporters of GEJ like you who call Buhari 'brain-dead', do you think anybody would raise an eyebrow? 3. In fact, just as GEJ is often called clueless, drunkard, Jondumb, by GMB's supporters on NL as you pointed out, so also do GEJ's supporters on NL often call GMB all sorts of names, including Bukohari, certificatless and much worse; but even Buhari himself has to accept all this as the unfortunate part of the largely unregulated online debate, and nobody can do anything about it. 4. But for GEJ's wife to have called Buhari 'brain-dead' publicly; and for FFK to have defended her the way he did, and even gone further to heap his own abusive words such as 'irresponsible', 'nonsensical' and 'asinine' against Buhari; and to have done all this in his OFFICIAL CAPACITY as head of media department of GEJ's presidential campaign is gross irresponsibility. 5. And for GEJ to have kept quite about it (in a kind of silent approval or even encouragement of it), it really shows that GEJ is personally not decent enough to know when boundaries of decency are crossed by people who are close to him, and under him. 6. GEJ'S appointment of FFK as the head of media of his campaign is in itself a big mistake on the part of GEJ, and allowing the morally bankrupt and mentally unstable garrulous parrot to be insulting the person of GMB in his official capacity is even a GREATER mistake by GEJ. |
size38:Yes, he will win convincingly in the SE and even SS, but the KILLER FACT which is troubling many in the GEJ campaign team is that GEJ is going to get FEWER votes in ALL the 36 states than what he And only the dumbest among the GEJ supporters would fail to fully understand why there is so much real concern and panic among the GEJ/DPD campaign strategists, with this fact staring them in the face. |
Although the OP is entitled to his opinion on these subjects, his assessment of their marketability or relevance is grossly misleading and uninformed. The OP must have based his assertions on his narrow and limited knowledge and experience rather than on a proper and adequate investigation into the marketability/viability/profitability/relevance of the courses he mentioned. I honestly wonder how this misleading post managed to get to the PF (no disrespect to the OP); the mods need to be more diligent. |
GEJ, you must have now realized how grossly ill-advised it was for you to have appointed this silly character, with so much baggage on him, as you director of PUBLICITY! Even if you had never been called clueless before, this singular act of entrusting the sensitive and all-important job of PR in the hands of someone like FFK is enough to warrant calling you clueless. As you can now see it yourself, instead of him to add any value to your dwindling campaign and battered image, he is, as expected, proving to be A BIG DISTRACTION to your campaign. Day after day, the attention-seeking 'director' gets embroiled in messier controversies and draws more attention to himself than to you. I have no doubt in my mind that there are MANY of your supporters who cringed at the idea of giving any role at all to FFK in your campaign; and they must have been shocked when you appointed him head of the PR department of your campaign. |
1. Although this kind of intervention from the anti-graft body is a welcome development, the commission needs to take UTMOST CARE in handling cases of alleged victimization/sexual harassment of students by their lecturers. 2. This is because of the highly specialized nature of academic matters, and the need to protect intellectual independence and integrity in our universities and other institution of higher learning. 3. Although there are bad eggs among lecturers, just like we have in every profession, it is also a fact that SOME intellectually lazy, unserious and OUTRIGHT DUMB spoiled brats, who should NOT be anywhere near the four walls of a university, often do get admitted into our universities through the back doors. 4. These categories of 'students', lacking the right level of intellectual capabilities and/or desire and determination to work hard enough to pass their papers, are SOMETIMES the kind of 'students' who turn around to accuse their lecturers of 'victimizing them. 5. In some cases, they would even try to induce the lecturers financially or otherwise, and oftentimes a lecturer who strictly and resolutely refuses to 'co-operate' and 'assist' them, and thus turns down their inducements, can easily be blackmailed; and now the ICPC can be (mis)used against such a lecturer, if the student's parents are influential enough and desire to do so. 6. A situation where non-academics from the ICPC, or any organization for that matter, are seen as interfering with the ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND GRADES of our university students is surely NOT a healthy situation, in my opinion. 7. All over the world, study for a university degree (regardless of the discipline and level) is a tough and rigorous task, which requires a high degree of INTELLECTUAL ABILITY and HARD WORK; and now that universities are increasingly tightening their anti-plagiarism rules, it means EVERY student has to sit down and work HARD ENOUGH to produce academic work that would evidently show ORIGINAL THINKING in order to have a reasonable chance of graduating at all; but some students are simply not willing or capable of doing that! 8. Although the ICPC must have conducted adequate and proper investigation before concluding that those 'rescued' students were actually victimized, the fact a student spent 12 years without graduating does NOT in itself prove that such a student is victimized; it MIGHT simply be that he/she has NOT worked hard enough to graduate or is simply INTELLECTUALLY INCAPABLE of obtaining the university degree in that particular field, at that particular institution.! |
Falana has said what we all know, that Afenifere and the likes of Tanko Yakasai from the North and some SE leaders, as well as the CAN leaders who are alleged to have taken 7 billions from GEJ, are only deceiving the clueless by promising him that they would deliver 'their people' for him, after collecting their shares of campaign Dollars from him. In less then 4 weeks from now, it would dawn on GEJ, once again, that getting endorsement from a handful of largely discredited 'leaders' of a regional or religious group does NOT automatically translate into actual votes from the REAL PEOPLE of those groups. So GEJ and PDP can keep on using this extended period to distribute all the |
Prominent civil rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) ridiculed the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, over their claim that in endorsing President Goodluck Jonathan for re-election, they believe he will implement the decision of the National Conference held in Abuja last year. After laying out the areas of the confab where Yoruba delegates failed to convince conferees, he stated that the Afenifere was not fighting on behalf of the Yoruba people. He dismantles Afenifere's use of implementation of Confab report as their trump card for getting support from the SouthWest for the President Link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZsfEBIeZB0 |
odinese:Yet your moniker portrays you as a supporter of Udinese FC, instead of Arsenal FC? Why now? lol |
The original title of this news story from Aljazeera is 'Nigerian president is accused of using fight against Boko Haram to win votes', and the content of the balanced and professional report from Aljazeera should give PDP supporters cause for worry, not celebration But as part of the now exposed gimmicks and deceit, a PDP goon by fake name 'Abbas' completely re-writes the original news story and re-routes the deceitful version to a Nigerian website (information nigeria), so that when gullible Nigerians click the link to informantion Nigeria and read the fake re-written story posted by 'Abbas' they would think it is the Aljazeera's story. This trick has now become a trademark of the PDP e-fraudsters; Aljazeera has NOTHING to do with the deceitful title 'APC jittery - blah blah). Advice: Just watch the original Aljazeera video and IGNORE the deceitfully written version posted by 'Abbas' on the Nigeria information website, which the OP provides as 'source' of the Aljazeera story. The name of Aljazeera is only used here to deceive the gullible. But not everybody is dumb and gullible! |
ozoigbondu:It is not a matter of 'fear of Mbu'. Let's just hope and pray that those alleged evil machinations of PDP and GEJ are not carried out, because their consequences and repercussions would be quite unpredictable and may engulf all of us, including Mr Mbu and the other alleged planners and perpetrators. |
We only hope and pray that the desperation of GEJ/PDP to clinch to power at all costs is not going to plunge our country into a catastrophic turmoil. |
Several police and political sources have told SaharaReporters that Sam Chukwu, a sinister police officer reputed for masterminding a group of rogue policemen who carried out kidnapping, armed robbery and other major crimes in Enugu State, was recently promoted and deployed to Lagos in order to fortify a team of senior police officers charged with helping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) carry out massive rigging in Lagos State and other southwest states. Our police sources named Mr. Chukwu, who is linked to a major kidnap and murder case in Enugu, as a key player in the scheme, whose leader is Assistant Inspector General of Police Joseph Mbu. “Sam Chukwu is one of the biggest criminals in the police force. That is why Sir Mike Okiro gave him promotion and sent him to Lagos in January,” a top police source at police headquarters in Abuja told SaharaReporters in a telephone interview. The officer, who said he and numerous other officers were incensed at the increasing use of police officers for illegal assignments, added, “Instead of sacking Sam Chukwu, they have sent him to Lagos today to join the operation of rigging election.” At the end of 2014, the Police Service Commission headed by Mike Okiro, a former IG of Police, included Mr. Chukwu’s name on a list of officers promoted to assistant commissioner. In a secretive scheme, the commission failed to release the names of all promoted officers, a move meant to hide the inclusion of Mr. Chukwu’s name, according to a senior police source in Abuja. With his promotion, Mr. Chukwu was posted to Lagos. Several police sources in the state and Abuja have disclosed that Mr. Chukwu’s assignment is to help coordinate the harassment of voters and a series of electoral practices aimed at helping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to rig the forthcoming elections in Lagos and other southwest states. One officer disclosed that Mr. Okiro had selected a special team of officers with a criminal reputation and sent them to work with Mr. Mbu to help the PDP manipulate polls in the southwest. Top PDP officials, including Bode George and former Minister of State for Defense Musiliu Obanikoro, reportedly pressed President Goodluck Jonathan to sign off on the ambitious rigging plan, arguing that the ruling party may not be able to retain power at the center without carrying a few southwest states. focus7:The part in bold is, unfortunately, true. I am sure even GEJ's supporters, the decent ones I mean, must be livid with disappointment at the manner and rate at which he appears so CARELESS ABOUT HIS FACTS when speaking publicly. Even when speaking to international media, he often appears so unconcerned about, or incapable of, getting his facts ACCURATELY RIGHT. He simply does NOT give you the impression of someone who fully understands that the SUREST way for a leader to destroy his/her PERSONAL INTEGRITY is to be so careless about facts when speaking in public. Although I do not support GEJ and I will NOT vote for him, I would still personally like to see him retain the dignity and honour of a former president of our country (after he is defeated in the coming election), but somebody seriously needs to make him aware that even his cluelessness, as bad as it is for a leader, will NOT eventually be as DAMAGING to his personal integrity as this kind of lack of concern about the ACCURACY of his public utterances. |
Shame on you, FFK!. What a spoiled brat like you may never realize is that DECENT Nigerians will ALWAYS have far MORE RESPECT for a SELF-MADE person like Amaechi, who rose from a humble background to national limelight, than they would ever have for a morally bankrupt prodigal son of an elitist family of questionable sources of wealth. When Aribisala lampooned your father so publicly and scathingly, I personally thought he was being too mean, but now I will go and read and re-read that piece because it may, after all, be a very good example of how a rogue father would always beget a rogue offspring! |
The case of Fayose is getting really pathetic!. If I were one of his close relatives or friends, I would definitely start mobilizing all of his other relatives, friends and political associates to offer him the kind of urgent assistance he badly needs in order to bring him back to sanity. This is because No SANE person would be occupying the political office he is currently occupying and YET be seen to be so openly and resolutely treading on a CLEAR path of SELF-DESTRUCTION! Unless somebody, somewhere, somehow URGENTLY manages to save this guy from himself, he is surely DESTINED TO SELF-DESTRUCT, sooner rather than later! |
wummyanthoy:1. You got it completely WRONG here!. The people who are outraged here, who include even some ofGEJ' supporters, are NOT outraged by GEJ's decision to renege on whatever commitment/promise he had made about serving only one term, but they are outraged, and even shocked, by his denial that he had made such a commitment/promise! 2. How can someone in his right senses deny, and try to twist and spin, a pronouncement that he and his mentor and spokespersons have so publicly made, on both local and international occasions, and captured in both audio and video recording? 3. Many Nigerians, even those of us who are disappointed by GEJ's first term performance, simply understand that although he had promised not to seek re-election, it is still within his constitutional rights to change his mind and contest. 4. But for him to come out and LIE that he never made such a promise, is TOO DAMAGING to his already battered credibility. 5. Worse still, he unwittingly confirmed that he deliberately chose to build his president mandate on LIES and DECEIT right from the beginning, as this part of the report clearly shows: "He said that he did not want to join issues with Obasanjo because the party members were there for primaries and “I just wanted to win my primaries”. 6. He deceitfully allowed OBJ, the 20 PDP govs (and his presidential spokespersons) to go all over places putting their credibility on the line and vouching for him about it, while he knew in his heart of hearts that he did NOT sincerely believe in that promise. 7. After these had people helped him win the primaries, he expects them (OBJ, the PDP govs) to be happy with him that he deceived them into supporting him win his party's primaries? 8. And he expects them to seriously support him to get the second-term-by-deceit thingy? 9. Well, this only shows that cluelessness is ONLY ONE of GEJ's problems as a leader; others, which are coming to fore and which may have damaged his political career even more, are his self-centredness and deceit. |
deflover:Your lengthy anti-Islam quote is irrelevant here. Go to the NL section for religion, where you would find people who are more than ready to defend their religion and counter-punch you with even more devastating quotes against Christianity. |
All this points to the INCONTROVERTIBLE FACT that in the forth-coming election, GEJ will NOT get the kind of block vote he got in 2011 from the Northern Christians, for the simple reason that even the not so smart among them must have realized by now that it is NOT in the interest of anybody to elect a grossly incompetent leader. The Northern Christians, like the rest of Nigerians, must have realized by now that if you make the mistake of entrusting the affairs of your country in the hands of an incompetent leader, even if you share the same religious faith with him, his incompetence and misrule would slowly but surely catch up with you and negatively affect YOUR life, or the lives of your loved ones, in one way or another, sooner rather than later. They must have realized by now that only a very few members of the privileged elite (from all the ethnic groups and religions, civilians and military) actually benefit from the gross incompetence of GEJ and the massive looting and uncontrolled corruption that characterize his clueless govt. That is why the desire and yearning for CHANGE cut across all ethnic, religious, regional and age barriers; the ordinary people simply want an end to the impunity of a few thousand members of the ruling elite of this country, and we, THE PEOPLE, WANT OUR COUNTY BACK! |
sincerenigerian:The part in bold is a very good observation, and it shows that GEJ and his campaign team knew very well that the low collection rate of PVCs in GEJ's strongholds (SS/SE) and the high collection rate in Buhari's strongholds (North) only indicate the BIG difference in the level of motivation and desire to vote between those who would vote for Buhari and those who would vote for GEJ in the forth-coming election. The vast majority of those who will vote for Buhari are people who simply want to see the end of the clueless and incompetent govt of GEJ. And wherever they are, you would see them so intensely MOTIVATED and so resolutely DETERMINED to vote in the election, come rain, come shine, that they do not even need anybody to nudge them to collect their PVCs! If you talk to ordinary Buhari supporters, whether in the SW, North, MB or even SS/SE, you would be instantly convinced that they are REALLY motivated people, who strongly, some even fanatically, believe in what they are going to vote for. On the other hand, many PDP supporters, even people from GEJ’s stronghold of SS and SE, are people who are by far LESS MOTIVATED, and too disinterested to even collect the PVCs, talk less of enduring a greater hassle and risk of venturing out to vote on the election day. So in reality, the extension of the PVC collection period would do VERY LITTLE to save GEJ from the big electoral defeat that INEVITABLY awaits him; many of his SS/SE/MB/SW supporters who voted for him in 2011 are now so disillusioned and disappointed with his government that even if you deliver their PVCs to their doorsteps they would NOT collect them, talk less of coming out to vote. This simple fact combines with MANY other changes that have taken place in the political dynamics to effectively SEAL THE FATE of GEJ; He is DEFINITELY going to lose the coming election BIG TIME, and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING an Asari Dokubo or a Tompolo can do about it!. |
Only the dumbest and least informed among the gullible ordinary supporters of the clueless president are yet to grasp the fact that considering the realities on the grounds, the 2015 election HAS ALREADY BEEN LOST by the PDP, as long as Buhari is the APC candidate and GEJ is the PDP candidate. For any discerning observer, the reason is not difficult to understand; after governing the affairs of the country for over five years, GEJ's performance is considered by Nigerians to be nothing but a big disappointment; rather than breaking clean from the old corrupt ruling elite and cabal that have been feasting on the blood of the nation for so long, at the detriment of the ordinary people, GEJ turned out to be part and parcel of those heartlessly greedy corrupt cabal, to the dismay of millions of ordinary Nigerians, especially the youths whose future is being destroyed by the massive, institutionalized corruption. On the other hand, GMB is seen, both locally and internationally, as someone who has the best anti-corruption credentials that are needed to launch the kind of serious crusade against corruption with the aim of reclaiming our country back from the few corrupt vested interests. So only a pathetically moronic and dumb person would find it any difficult to understand why a sitting president that is perceived the way GEJ is perceived would lose a re-election bid against a candidate that is perceived the way Buhari is perceived. |
SaharaReporters has learned of a new twist in the desire of some top officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for a six-month postponement of polls in Nigeria, with several sources saying a faction of the party would work to replace President Goodluck Jonathan as the party’s presidential candidate. In separate interviews with SaharaReporters, numerous PDP officials disclosed that many founding members of the party had lost confidence in Mr. Jonathan’s viability as a candidate, adding that a faction within the party had discussed easing the incumbent president out of the presidential race, and replacing him with another candidate from the Niger Delta zone. “The only obstacle to the plan is that the South-South might kick against it, so we have arrived at a consensus to find another candidate,” one of our sources, a northerner, said. “If elections could be postponed for six months, we will definitely replace President Jonathan as our candidate,” another member of the faction confirmed. In a clear sign that the party was crumbling was within, several high ranking PDP members said they regretted letting President Jonathan carry the party’s flag as a presidential candidate in the forthcoming elections. Some of them confessed to being aware that the party’s prospects looked dire with Mr. Jonathan holding the presidential ticket. “We are the ones who started the push for six months delay in the elections to enable us [to] put in place an interim government which would then enable the party to change its presidential candidate to somebody that is more competitive,” one official confessed. He added that Mr. Jonathan’s faction also sought the extension for their own designs, which was to explore ways of rigging the elections. Our interviews revealed that many PDP governorship candidates in the north and elsewhere in the country were secretly working against Mr. Jonathan’s re-election or quietly distancing themselves from him. One party leader revealed that some candidates in the northern area were all but campaigning for Mr. Buhari, the presidential flag bearer of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC). However, some PDP officials told SaharaReporters that, while they hoped that President Jonathan could be sidelined to increase the chances of the party in the upcoming elections, they also wished that the APC would also dump Mr. Buhari as its presidential candidate. The party officials claimed that key political figures across Nigeria continue to view a Buhari Presidency with mortal fear because of his stubborn personality and his promise to punish the corrupt. Several of the PDP officials told SaharaReporters that the rift between Mr. Jonathan and a large faction in the party that wants him dumped was reflected in the responses to former President Olusegun Obasanjo who two days ago dramatically announced his resignation from the PDP, publicly tearing his membership card. Two of the officials disclosed that, while Mr. Jonathan’s aides launched direct attacks on Mr. Obasanjo, the officials at the party headquarters in Abuja adopted a more cautious and subdued tone, regretting that the former president had decided to leave the party. Some officials stated that the party hierarchy viewed Mr. Obasanjo’s public departure from the party as a dangerous signal and as a major threat. “Chief Obasanjo doesn’t just come out swinging the way he has done recently unless he is privy to the existence of some third forces that are against President Jonathan. And to the best of our knowledge, the former president has never fought a battle like this and lost, no matter how long it takes him,” one of the officials said. “The truth is that many senators, honorable members of the House of Reps and governors are loyal to Baba, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. So they are doing Baba’s bidding even though they are giving Mr. President [Jonathan] the impression that they are with him,” another party official in Abuja said. The party officials acknowledged that the statements of former President Obasanjo in the last three days had caused a major havoc on the party’s plans to work towards an interim national government. Several of the PDP officials attributed the fractiousness within the party to the way Mr. Jonathan and his wife, Patience Jonathan, imposed unpopular candidates on the party in various parts of the country. Even though they agreed that Mr. Obasanjo had imposed candidates on the party in the past, one PDP official said the Jonathans consistently backed candidates who were extremely unpopular within the PDP and unelectable. Asked if President Jonathan was aware of plans to replace him, some of our sources said the president knew that many powerful members of the party were not satisfied with his style and low performance. One source said former Vice President Alex Ekwueme and even the party’s chairman of the board of trustees, Tony Anenih, were far from enthusiastic about Mr. Jonathan’s re-election. “President Jonathan’s candidature and unpopularity are damaging the party,” one official stated. He added that the party’s electoral prospects in the general elections had dwindled dramatically. “We are only sure of carrying about 11 states in the country, according to our internal polls,” one party official disclosed. Party officials also said they were determined to change numerous candidates for governorships, the Senate and House of Representatives in several states if the six-month postponement ever became a reality. “The way President Jonathan and First Lady Patience Jonathan picked many candidates has now weakened the party across the country,” one top official in Abuja complained. Vetsolo:Ans: He is the person who almost single-handedly HANDPICKED a clueless and little known guy from the ND region and made him a VP to an ailing person from the North, and upon the death of the ailing president, he WHOLE-HEARTEDLY supported the clueless and campaigned for him to get elected as president, and continued to support him UNTIL it became clear to every one that he is an incurably incompetent leader, who is not worth supporting. |
The attitude of this Victor (the carpenter) here epitomizes the BIG difference in the level of motivation and desire to vote between those who would vote for Buhari and those who would vote for GEJ. The vast majority of those who will vote for Buhari are people who simply want to see AN END to the clueless and incompetent govt. And whether they are in the North, SW, MB, SE or SS, they are INTENSELY MOTIVATED and RESOLUTELY DETERMINED to collect their PVCs and come out to vote, COME RAIN, COME SHINE! In fact by simply talking to some Buhari supporters in the SW and the North, you would be left with no doubt whatsoever that these are REALLY motivated people, who strongly, some even fanatically, believe in what they are going to vote for. On the other hand, many PDP supporters, even people from GEJ’s strongholds of SS and SE, are typically like this Lagos-based carpenter; they are generally BY FAR LESS MOTIVATED to even collect PVCs, talk less of enduring a greater hassle and risk of venturing out to vote on the election day. Thus in reality, the extension of the PVC collection period would do VERY LITTLE to save GEJ from the impending electoral defeat; so many SS/SE voters who enthusiastically voted for him in 2011 (or even aided and abetted massive rigging for him then) are now so disinterested and so reluctant to vote AT ALL, even if their PVCs were to be delivered to their doorsteps. This simple fact has combined with MANY other changes that have taken place in the political dynamics to effectively SEAL THE FATE of GEJ; He is DEFINITELY going to lose the coming election BIG TIME, and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING an Asari Dokubo or a Tompolo can do about it!. |
