In lieu of the advice given to me here by some "joyous mother of children", i did like to add my voice to what I've learnt the previous week to the issue of fibroids and ttc. Fibroids though non-cancerous and rarely cancerous can hinder conception. I was told by 2 different gynaecologists that i have intramural fibroids which as it is believed doesn't hinder conception. They adviced i ignore it and keep trying for a child.
4 months after trying i decided to see a third gynaecologist. He advised i undergo surgery. Last month, i took the bold step and went for it.
well, scan showed 2 big fibroids with one calcified, but when i was opened, the gynae discovered 12 fibroids, and also the weight hinders swimmers from swimming into the tubes.
Surgery maybe fearful but if you are ttc for more than 6 months and you are told you have fibroids, pls consider going for surgery. My cousin was told she had fibroids (she never confided in any of us) of recent and she started taking herbs, just last week she came visiting and i saw her swollen feet and tummy. I advised her to go for test cos of the swollen feet and tummy. She went for test yesterday and was discovered the herbs affected her kidney. Some herbs may actually dissolved fibroids while some will give you lasting sorrows. Pls lets increase our chances of conception by doing what we can and leaving the rest to God. Surgery maybe expensive in private hospitals but its cheaper in government hospitals. I paid 60k for mine in a public hospital and i have no regret going through it. Myomectomy compare to taking herbs may even be cheaper and also faster in the journey to conceive. You are free to add your voice to this suggestion.

Yes ma, I totally agree with u. l also had fibroid went for myomectomy and to d glory of God I conceive for the first time in my life after 3 momth. I am a strong advocate of surgery if one is diagnosed if fibroid. Pls let's beware of herbs abeg I have never taken it in my whole llife and pple dt I know dt took it are still trying.

Pls mama how does the cot look like is it the four corner baby cot, I also saw one dt is four corner and the sides are net it has two layers the first layer for 0-3 month why the second layer is from 4-9 month it also has music movable tyres but doesn't rock and its 20k. pls where did u see it is it in lagos pls let me know b4 I buy d one I saw to weigh my options. Mix egg yolk tin tomato liquid milk and a malt drink together and drink, my pcv was also low and a nurse in my dh hospital recommended it to me , dh kick against it because he's a doctor but me I took it o and lo and behold my blood count increased within two weeks. Dh self was also surprised by d result. Increase ur vegetables intake especially ugwu it can also help.

Congrats @loistee and mama sugah present ma. I equally went for mine @20weeks and the baby didn't reveal it oo. Waiting to get to 23weeks befr I check again.

Don't worry the baby was doing shakara for u hopefully he/she will reveal it at 23 weeks

September mums whatsup we have been so quiet I hope all is well. I just did my 20 weeks scan and am team blue am so so exicited. I praise God for his faithfulness. All of us shall carry to term and deliver like the Hebrew women in Jesus might name. Amen

Are u referring to those noise in the stomach as bubbles. I mean those noise in tummy after a meal or when one is hungry.

I am 20 weeks too. And I started feeling unmistakable kicks like 3 days ago. It was faint at first but afterwards, there was no confusing it. Yesterday before I went to bed, he delivered like 4 sharp kicks to my side, clear as day. Pay attention... especially when your lying down or kind of calm. You might think it's your stomach rumbling, or gas, sometimes it feels like bubbles popping in your stomach. Even if you don't feel it yet, you're gonna feel it anytime soon.

No doctor will attend to u before a year except u are above 35 yrs. I was also anxious like u but I was not attended to even though my husband is a medical doctor. So just chill don't self medicate because I did It at some point and it had adverse effect on me, before God intervened. it is well.
