Please I need your response

I submitted my application on May 17. Did upfront medicals same day (17th May). Had my biometrics on 23rd Of May. Medical was passed on June 5th, 2023. Status on my portal: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility. Can someone pass medicals and eligibility not started?

It is over 2 months now and I'll be resuming by September, though I've sent mail and webform yet no response.

Hi

I'm having same issue too. Submitted mine on May 19th,passed medical July 10th and no update since then.

I had to call Ircc today to know what's up. They said its under profess that I should hold on.
Maybe you should call them too or you hold on.

Hello everyone,

I noticed the same mistake in my application and I have requested for a withdrawal, will I need to wait for IRCC to confirm the withdrawal before reapplying?

Why withdraw?
You should have sent a webform for it same way I did.
I guess you have your reasons.

Good afternoon everyone. Please has any May applicant gotten a response from IRCC? I applied on May 16. My medicals was updated to passed last week friday. Since then nothing. I have sent countless mails and webforms. Even called IRCC customer care

Mine is May 19th, medical passed July 10th and I haven't heard anything since then.
I have seen many May applicants that have gotten PPR this month. So it's best we wait.

Hi,

You can not respond using webform, you have to send your response using your IRCC portal.

Your response will be quite different from the example the Iomy sent, because she caught the error and stepped ahead of it to inform IRCC.
In your case, they have discovered the oversight and your response will be tailored towards the circumstances surrounded the visa application to US and the denial.
In my own opinion, you must be able to explain how the US application was made and the fact that you thought it was a family application made under your parents name and not your name.

I think you are right. He shouldn't use webform

Dear Sir/Ma,

Trust this finds you well.

My name is....... ; an international Study Visa applicant from Nigeria, with Application Number:..... and UCI:...... . I submitted my Study Visa Application on 19th May.

In my application, I omitted some important information.
Sometime between 2012 to 2014, My mum applied for a Manitoba Nominee program. She was the principal applicant and I was one of her dependents. We were denied visas due to our inability and delay to provide some additional documents requested. Hence visa denial was on the basis of non-compliance.

Kindly help include this information in my application.

Thank you in anticipation of your favorable consideration and update of my record.

Best regards,

That was what I sent to them.

Hello everyone,

I've been a long time reader and even used info here to submit my application myself. I recently got a message from my portal. It states something about me stating 'No' to the previous visa refusal question. The thing is my parents wanted the whole family to go for vacation in December 2019 to Florida, USA. Earlier in 2018 my parents and younger siblings went because I and my sister were already in uni doing exams during that period. We were denied the visa as a family and not personally and the reason was not even stated. We didn't spend up to 3 minutes with the visa officer and according to the paper given they seemed us unfit due to insufficient family ties (because the whole family was traveling).
I thought the question they asked for my Canada application was meant individually and for canada. Please how do I respond to this. I have 7 days to respond and I'm panicking because they wrote something about a visa ban. Attached is a screenshot of the letter.

Sorry about this. I learnt it's usually best to indicate since Canada and US are neighbouring countries.
I made the same mistake in mine, I forgot to indicate just like you, my saving grace was I uploaded a webform weeks after to state that I have been denied visa before, although I'm currently waiting for my PPR.

I think you need to be careful of the response you give them to avoid ban. Hopefully someone here will assist you with a better response. All the best

Hello my people,

Please, I need some advice from you guys. I submitted my application May 19, 2023. After waiting for 6 weeks without hearing from them, I sent a mail to Nairobi on July 4th, and they responded July 7th that my application is still under active review and that they assure me that the commission will do their best to conclude the review within shortest possible time, but that they could not give a time frame right then. A day letter, upfront medical was updated to pass on my GCKEY account.

Considering that my study begins September 07, 2023, when is appropriate for me to write them again concerning my application? Time is my major issue here.

Many thanks.

I applied same May 19th. My medical just got updated last week.
I think you should chill.

Good day all. For those that have got their ppr, Canada will favor you and for us that are on waiting list I pray we will have reason to smile this month.

@ zubizareta
Showyoung and other gurus in the house

Please what has been your experience with people that their eligibility and background check takes a month.

An agent said IRCC doesn't waste time to deny if they want to do so these days that if eligibility and background check is taking time the outcome always favor of the applicant. My application was submitted on 20th of May and I had my biometrics on 26th May and was updated the same day, ever since my portal has been showing eligibility and background check under review

Please can you confirm the above assertion?

I doubt sha cuz I've know someone her application took a long time and then still knack am refusal.
You can't predict Ircc.
All you can do is pray and hope for a favourable outcome.

Me sef, I've been waiting since May 19th.

Good evening. I tried to schedule an appointment but the site says I have an appointment even after many trials while no schedule is shown from my profile. I'm confused. I even tried another email I have but the same issue. What will you advise on this?

Send email to iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int.
Stating your name, phone number, destination country, number of family and preferred date and time and attach your passport.

They'll respond to the mail.
Also let them know if it's upfront medicals or not.

All the best

Good day everyone

I'll be coming to Kitchener Ontario September for study in Conestoga College. I've been looking for affordable apartments within that area but the ones I've been seeing are above my budget.

Also I am not a tech person, I'm a media person. Was wondering if I could also see a jobs around there to make ends meet.

Contact IDP Nigeria to help you with consultation.
You can ask to speak with their staff in charge of Canada. After consultation, they will start the process with you from choice of program, school, getting admission and visa application till you get your visa. All at no cost. The school you choose will pay them. However, you must begin the process with them if you don't want to pay a dime. That's how it works we them.
I used them and I got my admission within 3 days and my visa approved within 8days.
For their contact, search on Google I.e. IDP Nigeria Contact number. I don't know if it's allowed to share their number here.
Good luck

You got visa within 8 days πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Na IDP dey share the visa?
