it is a business. It cost him xyz naira to produce the cars.
And he must make a profit on top of that money.
The only way he can reduce cost, if the government gives him subsidy.

The funny car story in America goes like this.
They were producing cars. But people were not buying. Instead, people were using the tram, a train/bus public transport.
So the car companies came together. Purchased the Tram company and it's infrastructure.
Then Destroyed everything. No more tram.
Everybody must buy car by force.
would be good if the federal government help him out so citizens can afford he's cars. That's just one reason why he's not being patronized yet

Questions your sister should ask her self is, what if she is in the man's position? What if after divorcing the man she finds herself in the man's position(which we don't pray for), what would she do if she marries another man after divorcing this man and the new man still comes down with similar ailment, is she going to still divorce the new man?.......trying times like this in marriages is when someone will know the true intents your spouse and family members have towards you. If your sister truly loves her husband, she will sacrifice for him at this dark times of he's life because divorcing him at this stage will only speed up he's death from the hearth break of the divorce.

Health › Re: Help Needed: Sleeplessness, Persistent Pain In The Head And Neck by lookingfly: 11:36pm On Sep 12, 2019
ssgi4in1:
Good evening good people. I am hoping I will get some help here.
Pls this will be a bit a long. I beg you to read. So you can understand better.

My problem started last year April (2018). I was diagnosed with typhoid and malaria. I was started on a course of treatment that involves anti malaria and an antibiotics (azithromycin). I noticed the quality of my sleep was dropping after taking the antibiotic for 2 days. My instincts was that it was the medicine. I eventually stopped taking it but by then my sleep have become badly affected. I woke up a Sunday morning after taking some drinks the previous night at a wedding with one severe type of headache ( I started the antibiotics on Thursday, took on Friday and missed it that Saturday) I continued that Sunday morning. So I eventually stopped all medicine and consulted a doctor friend. By then I had gone two nights with little or no sleep. He prescribed some drugs that was meant to induce sleep and even increased the dosage yet I still couldn't sleep.

Meanwhile before then, I am someone who could be called a sleeper. I can sleep at anytime without stress. I even take naps here and there in my office. So it was strange.

I eventually went to some hospitals and their treatment involved giving me sleep medicines and sometimes it could help me get very little amount of sleep and then it will make me feel very groggy and heavily fatigued. By this time a weird sensation have developed in the left side of my back head (this pain doesn't come and go... It is permanent). After spending some huge amounts I wasn't getting relief until I went to a neurologist. He first suspended all the sleep medications and started giving me amitriptyline 5mg every night ( after few days I started feeling better and had some deep sleep) but still the problem wasn't gone ( head pain and stiff neck).

I was paying about 30k monthly at the neurologists. It wasn't sustainable and I eventually stopped and decided to take my fate in my own hands. I eventually stopped taking any medication for sleep last November.

Between then and now, I have had some good nights where I slept very deeply and nights when I struggled. I have gone like 2 weeks without sleep issues. But still the pain in the back of the head and neck still persist.

Just yesterday I went to consult another gp and his diagnosis was that it was the poor sleep that is causing the pain in the head and neck. But I still find it difficult to believe. I will be having a video session with an Indian neurologist tommorow and I hope he will make a different diagnosis.

My coming here is to know if anyone have had an experience with my case and I would like to know how they solved their problem.

I will appreciate any suggestion that will be of help.

Thank you.
I had similar case like yours but mine was more crazy. It all started with severe headache and stiffneck, crazy excruciating stomach ache, serious intermittent fever and thick greenish and mucoid feces. During this period, I couldn't sleep too and on getting to first teaching hospital as usual, they claimed it is malaria and typhoid which i treated without improvement. Infact, I got to notice anything i take the antibiotics, the symptoms worsens. I couldn't cope with everyday life so had to be admitted in the hospital, and during this period was also having severe cold feet. The doctor i met in the hospital that I was admitted suspected meningitis and it was like a pump of antibiotics and fluid for the next five days. There was an improvement from headache and stiffneck and started feeling burning sensation in my feet and also lightness of whole body. Add me up on WhatsApp let us continue there because it's a long story but thank God am feeling much better 08139603681

The news of Benny Hinn’s public rejection and renunciation of the ‘prosperity Gospel’ has been hailed as a watershed moment within Evangelical Christianity.

However, it remains to be seen whether his ‘correction of theology’ will be equally embraced by the multiple prosperity preachers permeating Africa, many of whom regard him as a mentor.

This week, Pastor Benny Hinn admitted the controversial teaching that believers have a right to the blessings of health and wealth through the “sowing of seeds” is actually unbiblical and “an offense to the Holy Spirit”.

Hinn, once known as one of the most aggressive promoters of the Prosperity Gospel, told viewers during a live broadcast: “I don’t want to get to Heaven and be rebuked. I think it’s time we say it like it is: The gospel is not for sale. Healing is not for sale. Prosperity is not for sale.”

His public reversal on the issue comes in the wake of his nephew, Costi Hinn – who once worked and travelled with him – releasing a damning book titled ‘God, Greed, and the (Prosperity) Gospel’.

Costi described working in the ‘Hinn dynasty’ as a fusion of “royal family” flamboyancy and “mafia” secrecy, detailing how money faithfully given to the ministry was squandered on mansions, private jets and fast cars and loyalty cherished above honesty.

However, irrespective of the wide-ranging opinions about Hinn and his legitimacy, his influence in the new generation of African preachers is undeniable.

In recent years, Hinn held several high-profile events with Nigerian Pastor Chris Oyakhilome – also a known proponent of the Prosperity Gospel and faith-healing – the duo even launching a new television network in USA.

He has also held public meetings with Nigerian prosperity preachers Ayo Oritsejafor and Biodun Fatoyinbo (currently in the eye of the storm for multiple accusations of rape and sexual impropriety), Ghanaian Bishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams and Zimbabwean ‘Prophet’ Uebert Angel.

His style of message and ministration can be seen mirrored by charismatic preachers throughout the continent, with the fixation on ‘seed faith’ championed by the likes of Matthew Ashimolowo, Funke Adejumo and David Oyedepo.

A large portion of Pentecostal church services in Africa is usually dedicated to the ‘collection of offerings’ and reports of pastors taking money in exchange for ‘prayers and prophecy’ are rampant.

News and views about the flamboyant lifestyle of African ‘men of God’ dominate gossip sites and social media, with pastors often competing to join ‘the richest list’ as if material assets somehow equalled spiritual validity.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beayvbtHFyw

While many African believers have been vocal in their support of Hinn’s announcement on Facebook (albeit some doubting its sincerity), most pastors have been conspicuously silent.

“Nigerian and African ‘pastorprenuers’, Benny Hinn has told you the bitter truth,”opined Otunba Oliseh on Facebook. “Stop collecting illegal money from your Church members!”

“Benny is finally coming to the light! I believe he is watching TB Joshua – one of the only African preachers I know who makes it clear the Gospel is not for sale,”penned Kato Gabakaiwe from Botswana.

Others called on Hinn to back up his ‘repentance’ with ‘restitution’. “If Benny Hinn is genuinely rejecting the prosperity gospel, he needs to do what Zacchaeus did and pay back anyone he has cheated out of their money,”wrote Rich Colon, an African-American, on Twitter.

While Benny’s recent turnaround is indeed commendable, it appears the damage is done to the African church as the manipulative teachings he once championed will not be quickly undone.

There are indeed genuine ministers of the Gospel in Africa but those who prey on the gullible with a focus on financial incentives are likely to be unmoved by Hinn’s remorse, lest their ‘business’ suffers additional loss.

Health › Vet Doctors Raise Alarm Over Looming Disease Outbreak From Abattoirs by lookingfly(op): 11:55am On Sep 03, 2019
ABUJA-VETERINARY doctors under the auspices of Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association, NVMA, have raised alarm over looming disease outbreak from abattoirs due to unhealthy practices going on in those facilities. This was contained in its recommendation as part of communiqué issued and made available to Vanguard, which was signed by the Chairman, Communiqué Drafting Committee, Dr. Sunday Makama, including the secretary, Dr. Oladotun Fadipe, member, Dr. Peter Adeyanju, and Dr. Gloria Daminabo, after a National Workshop on Food Safety in Nigeria, which organised by NVMA. The doctors also pointed out that most health challenges faced by Nigerians are traceable to unsafe food and animal consumption, which developing countries bear most of the burden of foodborne diseases and illnesses with over 91 million morbidities and 137,000 human deaths annually. The communiqué reads in part, “Global food safety directly depends on animal health and the environment. Unsafe food including the food of animal origin is the cause of more than 200 diseases, 50 million morbidities and 230, 000 mortality yearly across the world. “While developing countries bear most of the burden of foodborne diseases and illnesses with over 91 million morbidities and 137,000 human deaths annually, but yet under-reported. “Deplorable state of infrastructure in the nation’s meat industry especially abattoirs /slaughter slabs and processing facilities and calls for urgent action by Government at all levels to remedy the ugly situation in public interest. “Food safety practices and standards in Nigeria are inadequate and this increases the risk of biological and non-biological contaminants in animal-sourced foods. “Abuse, misuse and overuse of veterinary antimicrobials in livestock farming operations could lead to adverse consequences such as the increase in AMR, drug residues in foods of animal origin and illnesses in human consumers. “The slaughtering of unhealthy animals for human consumption and urge stakeholders to improve on the transportation condition of animals and handling of meat and meat products.” They also recommended that there is an urgent need for national harmonization of legislation on meat hygiene to safeguard the health of Nigerians including adequate sensitization should be carried out to create awareness about the dangers of unhealthy meat processing. “The harmonization of the national legislation on meat hygiene instead of the segmented regional (state) approach that is no longer effective in handling current challenges. “That banned and unauthorized chemicals and biologicals should not be used in the livestock industry and regulatory agencies should enforce compliance. “The use of the one-health concept approach to mitigate the challenges of Food Safety and stakeholders are encouraged to begin the promotion of interdisciplinary engagements, beyond the multidisciplinary approach. “Education or awareness creation for all stakeholders on best practices in food safety especially in engaging in interactive and efficient risk-benefit communication to the public about food safety and quality; optimizing consumer protection as one of the major goals of food of animal origin trade; national food control systems should enforce and ensure compliance with current food safety standards. “Registration of all food production, processing and marketing premises by relevant MDAs according to existing regulations for effective monitoring and evaluation of practices, antimicrobial usage, and disease surveillance among others. “Stakeholders engaged in Food Safety efforts to link up and register with the AFoSaN; promotion of the use of good management practices, biosecurity and alternative intervention to mitigate future health threats or pandemonium that may be associated with increased reliance on antimicrobials by livestock farmers in the country. “National commitment and integrated multi-sectoral and multi-disciplinary approach and efforts to build strong and resilient national food safety systems for a comprehensive farm to fork approach to identification and management of food safety risks, especially from production (farm) to market. “Promotion of data-driven research to provide sufficient scientific evidence for the development of an intervention to the food safety concerns of the consumers.”
