we all have experienced ASUU strike one way or the other but it's not fair that the people training the citizens of the Nation have nothing to call their own and are the worst state of living. They will tell you vividly that they want you to work on areas that will benefit them.

it's not a new thing for lecturers to make you work in their field of interest. Same applies abroad. Infact, if you're looking for scholarship abroad, you must go and check on what your supposed supervisor/sponsor is working on and fit into his/her design if not, you're on your own. That's how academia work, you have to fit into something reasonable and viable and not some cooked up stories you present as research project.

who do you expect to do the research work before? Are you expecting a lecturer to do the research work of his/her student? From the way you've talked Soo far, I can conclude that you're probably still a student in a private university that doesn't know what responsibility is all about or you have parent's that still pay your bills or maybe work in an organization that pay crazy money so you don't know the brunt other people are facing......even if some don't have anything to offer, does that mean they should die in penury because they're university lecturers abi. All the leaders elected into office collecting millions of naira every month, how many of them has any reasonable thing to offer? If they do, why has Nigeria retard for the past 7 years plus? Did you for once say they should stop their salaries or reduce it since they've not done anything to improve the lives of Nigerians? In all you do, just know we're all humans at the end of the day.

Vice-chancellors must account for hundreds of billions worth of TETFUND grants they have embezzled.

The lecturers must also write apology letters to students and add 20 marks to the score of students because you cannot stay 8 months at home blocking highways and bullying online without forgetting what you were taught in January. It should be a criteria for paying them the 8 months salary they didn't work for.

For more than 40 years, ASUU has shattered the dreams of great Nigerian students.

I don't even understand how your aunt was pissed that he didn't call to thank her for taking you to the market to buy the engagement clothes. Perhaps, you guys were going on a fast lane and that statement made him think and also, have conversation with his folks who might have felt with this much troubles from external influences before the wedding, he should just save his head.

ASIDE: This reminds me of a girl I met at BRT going to Ikeja. She works at Computer villa.

I intentionally stopped contacting her and she never did. I deleted her number 2 months after.

I suspect this might be happening because I don't reveal my identity to them because I always want things to flow organically and also to avoid raising high expectations of me.
