So he said he is 50 years hmmm. But he said he loves soccer, so I'm convinced beyond reasonable doubt that 50 is his football age.

Stopping spain is not a big deal, it's not even all about composure and calmness or avoiding needless fouls. We know wat Spain can do and to prevent them from doing wat they can do we have to stop them from doing what they can do best, ie not allowing them to display that useless beautiful tiki taka pattern of football. We have to apply technical strategies, we have to play like the Italian mafias in the midfield, commit ruthless fouls if need arises. Play like the Germans in the attack and play like Chelsea or Bayern in the defence area. Frustrate and deny them their pattern. Always try to dispossess them with up balls. Believe me, there are many ways to kill a rat.

siddiq202: OP forget all this thing, no one will tell them to shoot the ball instead of dribbling the Goal keeper if they play spain or Uruguay
It would only take Determination, Concentration and Endurance to overcome those foes. The should be determined to get a good result against Spain no matter how hostile Spain appears to be. Make sure the ball is always kept away from our 18 yard box.

It would also take marking like a madman. We would miss Onazi.

Nigeria beating Spain is not a suprise, they were betrothed to us for a long time ago but we are going to pay their dowry.

Pedagogue: Fellow Nigerians, I think 6-1 score line is a good result ON PAPER!!!

D confederations cup is a different ball game...All the teams innit are winners from different continents. So, even if Tahiti fielded carpenters or artisans..that is none of our business!!! D truth is, Nigeria did not just defeat Tahiti, we defeated a whole continent!!! I've been listening to the rubbish the hypocritical Britsih press has been spewing about Nigeria...my take is IF ENGLAND is that good, why are they not in Brazil? They are just a bunch of jealous fellas!!!

And again,I actually believe that Nigeria played a bit amateurish because we were playing against Tahiti!!! Against Uruguay & Spain, I'm sure we will see an improved performance.

Nevertheless, IDEYE and MUSA were just awful today...I still cannot believe that these guys are being paid dollars by European clubs...It's not only because of the chances they missed, their attitude sucks- They carried on with a very stupid ' I don't care attitude ' . I do not know why Keshi likes this IDEYE guy so much...He wasted loads of scoring chances during Afcon and he has been doin the same since then!!!

Below is my player ratings

Abidal is going to be of no use to FCB. He is old and tired, he should retire lest his kidney falls on the pitch.

dayokanu: All the best to Gomez wherever he goes
Bayern executives should get wiser, I'm afraid this may end up as Demichelis and Van Buyten case. Super Mario is still fans favourite and more prolific than lazy and useless Mandzukic.

Wait wait wait.... What's this shit I'm hearing about Bayern and Suarez, Suarez can go to hell of any club but not Bayern. We already have a bad boy in the person of Mario Mandzukic, I wouldn't like our precious club to add that bulldog to our team list.

After a failed plan by the UEFA just like the League of Nations to prevent a German invasion of the Wembley, the Die Roten are willing to expose Michel's incompetency in steering the affairs the footwar governing body. The German second invasion of London aft er world war2 is going to be quite unpredictable. This time around with their two most dangerously prolific arsenals of Bayern and Dortmund bent on lightning up the magnificient war ground (Wembley) with smokes of fireworks. Though the European powerhouse, Germany, appears to be unbias, they are more likely to make use of the most fatal of their main arsenal, Bayern, and the result of this invasion could leave weaker assault launchers like Barca, Man U, Ajax, deteriorating Liverpool and impotent North Londoners 'Arsenal' lagging behind in reputation and potency.

I see Bayern conquering the world and Europe once more.

ffo: u mean 7.30pm prostitutes of different species and tribes, there was a day i saw one wearing hijab, its saddening.
Really? What's the big deal there? A prostitute could wear whatever she likes in as much as it portrays sensitive parts of her body and leaves her having to deal with the numerous customers waiting to have their turn. In my place, I do see girls wearing Hijab, and having two legs, but before I could turn back, I would see the same person with only one head and four legs.

mamikky: National Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur on Wednesday revealed that the terrorists behind the unending crises in the Northern parts of the country had concluded plans to secede and declare their own State before the Federal Government struck on Tuesday and declared emergency rule in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe state.

According to him“Mr President took the last option of declaring a State of Emergency because the terrorists were becoming more daring. They were even planning to declare a state of their own and these happened because many of us believed that the menace of terrorism has been a problem for the north alone.”

For Tukur to know all these, it means that he is either a boko haram adherent or, he is/ has been playing a vital role in disunity of this country. He should be interrogated properly and be placed under the watchful eyes of the State Security Services.

mamikky: National Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur on Wednesday revealed that the terrorists behind the unending crises in the Northern parts of the country had concluded plans to secede and declare their own State before the Federal Government struck on Tuesday and declared emergency rule in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states.

Alhaji Tukur who made the revelation in Abuja while receiving in audience a group of journalists from Kaduna State who paid him a courtesy call said that President Goodluck Jonathan settled for emergency rule in the affected states for the sake of unity, peace and stability of Nigeria as a nation.

According to him“Mr President took the last option of declaring a State of Emergency because the terrorists were becoming more daring. They were even planning to declare a state of their own and these happened because many of us believed that the menace of terrorism has been a problem for the north alone.”

Alhaji Tukur, while expressing absolute confidence in the ability of the nation’s armed forces and other security agencies to make the State of Emergency work in the affected states, pleaded with politicians and other stakeholders to rally round the government with every means in their capacity to make the fight against terrorism succeed.

Speaking on why the emergency rule was extended to his state, Adamawa, Alhaji Tukur said that the consideration of the government was that since Borno and Adamawa were geographically contiguous, it made a lot of sense to engage terrorists within the zones broadly in an attempt to break their network and areas of stronghold.

According to him, “though Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states will be feeling the heats of the State of Emergency at the moment, all states of the federation must begin to guard their borders, as a proactive measure for limiting the scope and space for operations of terrorists.
