Hello mamas,
Is there anything to be worried about low HCG?
My wife just missed her period about 5 days ago, blood test says positive but home testing urine kit shows negative. We had this same situation 4 months ago and she had miscarriage two weeks after confirming the pregnancy by blood test. Anything to be worried about this time?
NB: we have a child already, one year 4 months

Dear Justwise and Ekpotek,
I am planning to apply for a tourist visa to uk to spend Christmas and new year holiday.
I have had two expired 6 months visit visa,the first I used only once in 2015 and the second I used twice in 2016/2017.
I study presently in Europe and my study permit expires July next year which I will definitely renew.
But my question is can I apply for a 2 year visit visa having in mind that my permit will expire in 9 months or I should apply for another 6 months?
Note: all in a bid to avoid paying the 57£ fee in every application

Hello Lordcrixus. We encourage applicants to speak in English at the interview if at all possible. If she requires a translator, she can request one at the window.

We do have translators in both Abuja and in Lagos who speak the most common languages in Nigeria. We prefer to use our own translators so that we can be confident that the applicant is answering the questions and not the translator, and so we can be confident that the translation is happening correctly.

My elder sister just submitted her ds-160 form and also scheduled her b1/b2 interview for early December. In the process of filling the form and scheduling interview, there was no option for choosing to use an interpreter, what is the process of requesting for an interpreter as she wants to be interviewed in her mother tongue?

Our sister is a widower, 52 yrs, does buying and selling, she's never travelled, no bank account as she would be sponsored. What are her chances of securing the visa as she intends to stay for 4 months.
