TWoods: Good luck with that.
If I recall, you were the fellow who did not know that the US and UK share visa applicant information. I would treat anything you say with a pinch of salt. Please stop making speculations look like fact. She had actually used the visa for the intended purpose and she decided to use it again. If she pays all her bill and abide by the terms of the visa on this second visit, she can get it renewed via Dropbox and even if called for interview. It’s not rocket science my brother. NB: I don’t have to go to your previous posts to make a comment. If I say I don’t think they share visa applicant info, it is my opinion and I don’t expect you to accept it. The web link posted is about foreign national offenders and applicant with criminal records in their own country so it might not necessarily be applied to all applicants |

TWoods: Very unprofessional from the cbp officer. But it is even more obvious that these officers read these threads. Having a baby in the US is not illegal but ONLY because the US Congress has not explicitly outlawed it.
My guess is you will have a very difficult time renewing your visa. I’d be less worried what the officer said as much as what she wrote. The next VO who interviews you will see that. Chances that you will be able to get your visa renewed through dropbox are close to nil. Hello Mr visa officer, she will get the visa renewed if she actually pay for all her medical expenses. Please say only what you know and sure of. As for the CBP Officer, he/she just used the trending event to sly the poster. |

justwise: That is just a careless lies just to cover yourself from your misrepresentation.
Those two countries shares information. Bro, Do your work with immigration department of both countries? For Schengen, we know it is a centralized process. Uk may share with Schengen because of the European Union ties with some schengen countries if not all. To outrightly say they do i don’t believe and it’s just speculation. If you say US shares with Canada then I might believe you. |

iapt: No, they didn't stamp my passport...I have some travel history though, I just thought the USA refusal could affect my chances...but after reading this thread, i found out its not a criteria because I have all required documents (CAC for my hotel, Personal income taX clearance, LIRS certificate for the company, 2 houses and 2 acres of land in Lagos, account balance of 1.3million)...but as it stands, i will have to cancel the appointment and do another one immediately...but i dont know how long the refund will take...Thanks all the way bro You don’t need to cancel the appointment, the ukvi do not share info with the US. My first ever visa application was US and I was refused, after which I have had a German visa and three uk visas without mentioning my US refusal in all the applications. Work on other aspects of the application. Good luck |

Springdance: Lucky you, having to pay only $1000 out of pocket, I wish I had insurance cos I heard the monthly fee is next to nothing for residents in the US but since i don’t have US insurance, I need to do the needful and pay the bill that was quoted to me by the service providers. If we continue to do the right thing as Nigerians, the outside world will begin to see that not every Nigerian is a fraudster. Little drops make the mighty ocean. Something I noticed in the US is that, a lot of people are in debt, I love that their insurance system works efficiently for the insured. It’s actually easier to pay $1000 out of pocket, not many people in the US can pay $8600 out of pocket. That is the reason why self paying patients have lower bills than patients with insurance because the insurance company makes a whole lot of money from premiums paid by the insured and the hospitals are aware of this and double or triple the charges. During my three months industrial attachment in a hospital laboratory in my undergraduate days, the hospital charges times two or more in some cases from company patients(those been paid for by their place of work) than normal private individuals. This is because the management know company can pay more than individual paying out of pocket and it may take up to a month or more to get the bills paid by the company, but individual will pay instantly. This same applies here to insured patient and patient paying out of pocket, so been charged lower than insured patient is nothing out of the ordinary like some people will want to project. |

juleze: I have travelled to the UK 5 times, previously. I used to go annually, never spend more than a month, changed jobs and went last in 2014. I stay with the same person each time I travel (my cousin). Presently, I earn significantly lower but I still want to go on vacation, this year.
What I'm hinging on is my good travel history to the UK. I always apply for 6 months visa because that's all I need to travel each time. Sadly, this time around, you're not allowed to include previous passport; I didn't know this until submission. I learnt I was to have made copies and attached.
My questions are: - What are my chances being that almost all other things are against me? - Would they be able to access my previous visits or should I scan my old passport and send to them? I think there is a portion on the application form where you can fill in your travel history in the last ten years out of your home country, didn’t you fill that? And also the TSL guy should have made copies of ur old visas and add them to your application |

Hello mamas, Is there anything to be worried about low HCG? My wife just missed her period about 5 days ago, blood test says positive but home testing urine kit shows negative. We had this same situation 4 months ago and she had miscarriage two weeks after confirming the pregnancy by blood test. Anything to be worried about this time? Dear Justwise and Ekpotek, I am planning to apply for a tourist visa to uk to spend Christmas and new year holiday. I have had two expired 6 months visit visa, the first I used only once in 2015 and the second I used twice in 2016/2017. I study presently in Europe and my study permit expires July next year which I will definitely renew. But my question is can I apply for a 2 year visit visa having in mind that my permit will expire in 9 months or I should apply for another 6 months? Note: all in a bid to avoid paying the 57£ fee in every application |

abujaniv: Hello Lordcrixus. We encourage applicants to speak in English at the interview if at all possible. If she requires a translator, she can request one at the window. She might request for one.....thanks LagosNIV: We do have translators in both Abuja and in Lagos who speak the most common languages in Nigeria. We prefer to use our own translators so that we can be confident that the applicant is answering the questions and not the translator, and so we can be confident that the translation is happening correctly. Thanks for the input with a noble response |

Dear AbujaNIV, My elder sister just submitted her ds-160 form and also scheduled her b1/b2 interview for early December. In the process of filling the form and scheduling interview, there was no option for choosing to use an interpreter, what is the process of requesting for an interpreter as she wants to be interviewed in her mother tongue?
