Wow, look at the big Nigerian Army, using live rounds and tanks, against people throwing stones and bottles, so brave of them.

You people need to start taking responsibilities for your actions. This is not the first deployment of soldiers to civilian space. Recently, we had Operation Crocodile Smile which was concluded without complaints of genocide. Why must it be you people all the time? Even if you know that the government had ulterior motives, must you foolishly play into their hands? Look at the Niger Deltans. In spite of countering Operation Crocodile Smile with their own Operation Crocodile Tears, the military operation still went on without such incidents as recorded in the Operation Python Dance.

If this is how to prophesy, then, we are all prophets.

My own prophesy:

1. Nigeria would be restructured. Let us pray that the restructuring comes in our time.

2. The North needs to pray not to be the poorest of the regions that would surface. What I am seeing about them is not well.

3. Igbos should forget Biafra for now.

4. 2019 election would be tough. I see a nonentity contesting. Let Buhari pray not to fall seriously sick toward the election.

5. I see a new first lady in Ekiti Government House in 2018.

6. If all goes well today, Nigeria will beat Ghana in the WAFU Cup final match. The Super Eagles need to pray before starting the match. The Ghanaians need to pray for support as I see many of their fans not willing to watch the match.

7. The politicians need to pray as I see death about to snatch one of them soon. Yes, they need to pray.

IQ is intelligence quotient, and kids also have either high or low intelligence quotient. At times, from their IQ doctors would know whether they have intellectual disability just like Autistic kids and they're monitored. I asked that question 'cause from the child's IQ you're likely to know what he/she is capable of handling intellectually.

OK, you win. Chai, women and their never say never attitude. grin

TSTV DECODER AND PRICE IN NIGERIA
TSTV: Telcom Satellites Telelvision has come to stay in Nigeria with amazing packages filled in the TSTV Decoder. Let me quickly tell you about TSTV decoder and what’s inside it.

TSTV Decoder comes with 200+ Channels just to entertain and make sure you feel very happy.
It comes with Inbuilt camera. With the inbuilt camera, you can be able to use it to do a video call to your family and friends provided they also have decoder and active subscriptions. Isn’t it amazing. In fact, this is one of the best thing I personally like about TSTV decoder.

Just like I said earlier, you can use TSTV decoder to make video calls. This is made possible because of the free Wi-Fi it came with coupled with the amazing inbuilt camera inside the decoder.
The decoder has a Pause Option. With this Pause Option you can pause your subscription for a while. This is also amazing because with this option, you can use your subscription for more than a month or even more. You can also pause it when you travel.

However, when you newly buy TSTV Decoder, you get 20GB free data bundle. What I’m not certain for now is whether you can be able to browse with the data through your phone considering the fact that it comes with Free Wi-Fi. Will update this post when I clarify it.

TSTV Channels, Packages, Subscription & Decoder Prices

TSTV decoder comes with hard disk space of 50GB and an option of record while playing. This means that, you can record your favorite show from any of the channels and save it right there in your decoder so as to play it whenever you like. I think this option is also great. For example, an important movie is showing while you’re very busy. Instead of leaving your work to come watch the movie. You can just record it and watch it later at your own convenience. This is a nice option for ladies cooking. You don’t have to let your food get burnt anymore.

With TSTV Decoder you can watch latest cinema show. Do you understand it? Ok, let me explain it again. TSTV has made it much easier for movie lovers. Now you can watch that LATEST cinema movies right at the comfort of your home. With this, you don’t have to go to cinema anymore. And those who doesn’t normally have the chance to go to cinema can now be updated with the latest cinema movies. Wow! Its getting interesting right?

With the amazing options TSTV decorder comes with, we will proudly say that TSTV decoder is like no other. It also comes with a very cheap price of N5,000 only. Re-subscribing is very easy as long as you have airtime on your phone. You don’t need to go to bank or any retailer to subscribe. With the airtime on your phone, you can easily re-subscribe your TSTV decoder.

For sports lovers. Because I know a lot of people are complaining that Gotv doesn’t show live match all the time. The good news is, with TSTV, you can watch live matches like UEFA Champions League, Europa League and more.

TSTV CHANNELS

TSTV comes with amazing channels just for your pleasure. With more than 200 channels, TSTV have you covered all day. Sports, Kids, Health, Fashion etc. They are many. Below are the list of TSTV Channels in Nigeria.

Education / Re: See Assignment Given To A Primary 1 Pupil by LordOfNaira: 11:20am On Sep 23, 2017
kimbraa:
There's everything wrong with the question. First and foremost; what's the IQ of the average primary1 pupil? , what percentage of children in primary1 could read fluently, write and summarise passages?. The answer to this question is either none or a fraction. When I say a fraction, I'm now making reference to kids from very solid academic background that perhaps in primary one he/she is already reading fluently and writing. This question is tantamount to giving a primary one pupil an Algebraic equation to solve. Where will the child start from?. Let kids grow as kids, and at the right age teach them what they should know.

There is something wrong with this question that I placed in bold. The average IQ for everyone is 100.

The question in the OP is not an IQ test. It is an assignment for heaven's sake.

Do all the academic guru you know come out in flying colours in your country?. Someone that's meant to graduate with a first class is deliberately made to graduate with a first class lower. Nepotism/bribery strives in Naija.

But nepotism and bribery are not a part of our curriculum so why blame our curriculum?

Also, you seemed to be one of those who feel a curriculum should never be revised. If primary 1 pupils only did ABC years ago, should it mean that it should be the standard forever. If our curriculum finds this question too difficult for a Primary 1 pupil, then there is a problem. These words are no different from the words I find in many Lantern books recommended for primary 1 pupils.

With my level of experience in psychology, I have come to notice that kids of today do not like to be talked down at. Tell a child that "Exhibit means to show" and you may hear him/her grumble and tell you, "But I know. I am not a baby". Also, check the cartoons that are shown today and you will notice that children are being prepared to expand their vocabs.

I still don't see anything wrong with that question, though.

I needn't be in US to know that. If your see their movies and read books written by Americans you'll understand how their educational system works. The guy thinks he's talking to JJCs. grin

I've SAT, GCSE and TOEFL past questions at home my brothers used. Going through those books made me understand that the Nigerian Educational curriculum is more complicated than theirs and that's why a Guru in Nigeria would go over there and come out in flying colours 'cause their teaching is less complicated.

I don't understood the bold. Is a guru not supposed to come out in flying colours?

You don't know what you're saying, and some ignorant folks liked your post.

Kids in the US learn gradually, they're not given assignments meant for high school students in grade1. grin A child in kindergarten in Nigeria is already stressed with ABCD while in US they sleep in school and given puzzle set to play with.

How can that question be meant for high school. Have you taken your time to check the literature some of these pupils read and are able to understand? What really is your problem with the question? The words or the difficulty of getting an answer to it?

Lazy parents. The reason why I avoided teaching primary school pupils. They don't ever want to be a part of their children's education. If you feel the questions are too difficult, call to see the teacher and be nice. Stop looking down on teachers.
