I don't have time to be arguing with atheists on miracles that I have personally witnessed on a large scale. I've not witnessed amputees but I have witnessed large scale miracles. Don't have time for useless arguments.

God promised the Israelites that they will see a sign when the Messiah is around and miracles that supposed to happen in Paradise will take place among them to show that the Messiah (Christ) has come into their midst that's what will alert them to obey and work with him.

So when John the baptist questioned Jesus' credentials as to whether he is the Christ or they should be expecting someone else Jesus sent John's disciples back to tell him what is happening in their presence {Matthew 11:2-5} to prove that the Christ has begun his work but must the Christ rescue John the baptist?

NO!

WHY?

That's not what God promised anyone.

My personal belief is that those Hebrew and Greek words have been misunderstood. Both languages speak of a figurative adversary because the ancients described the ups and downs of everyday life more poetically than we do. Satan is the adversary and the devil (diabolos) is the "ruler of darkness" which is just a fancy word for the moon. Both though are used poetically to describe our inner limitations. The human imagination is an extraordinary thing especially when some of its worst excesses are codified in big books peddled by big, rich organizations intent on brainwashing the world into joining them. The “evil” in this world done by humans is largely rooted in fear, because our bodies are mortal and are terrified of death. The “evil” done by other animals, by landslides and tsunamis and epidemics, is just Nature being itself.

No mystery, no devils, no Satan. But people will believe what they’re taught.

While I have no personal beliefs about Satan, I am watching the show Lucifer and the Lucifer in the show is one of the best depictions of the devil I have seen.
