The same Biden and Democrats who shouted themselves hoarse how Trump will abuse his presidential powers and pardon himself and his allies then go ahead to pardon his son who was convicted

At least Americans now know them better. They are liars and lied every step of the way

Biden was sharp as a tack
Biden will never drop out
Biden will never pardon Hunter
Kamala was tied in polls

All lies the same thing they accused Trump of
Trump already pardoned his allies so WTF are you on? LoLz.

it’s hard not to call it nepotism. The guy is literally his son! Would anyone else get that kind of pardon if they weren’t a family member. Fair point, but presidents do have the right to pardon anyone. It’s in the Constitution. Maybe he thought Hunter was unfairly targeted or that the charges were politically motivated.

There’s a difference between pardoning a political ally and pardoning your kid. It feels way more personal, like blurring the line between public service and family business.
People who are not the President's family members get presidential pardon so that is not the issue. I think it's an FU to the incoming Trump admin. Think of how much Trump and his cohorts vilified Hunter, then imagine how much more they will do with the office of the President behind them. This gets Hunter safely away while also sticking it to Trump and what he has used the presidential pardon to do in time past.

I like such cerebrally strong ladies. To hold a conversation for more than an hour without ordering for Hennessy and Shawarma on the guy's head. She was looking for content. She didn't order something expensive showing prudence and not wanting to destabilize the man especially if he doesn't have money (from her assessment).
The guy might lose her if he ruminates too much on such flimsy things.
As she communicated mental strength, he should have complemented with emotional strength by apologizing for not asking what she will take, as her if she will take more than the meat pie (even if you don't mean it), and offer to pay.
That requires emotional intelligence this our guy doesn't have. Look at him asking if he should let her go after he goofed by his own self.

DyshApp:
A young Nigerian man shares his frustration over an awkward first date experience with a lady who ordered herself food, neglecting him.

In an anonymous post to popular social media influencer @wizarab10, he recounted how the lady’s actions left him feeling overlooked.

The man revealed that the woman paid for her transportation and clothing expenses for the outing, which he appreciated. However, things took a surprising turn when she ordered food only for herself during the date.

“I went on a date with a girl, our very first date and she paid for her clothings and transport. When we got there, we spoke for over an hour and she was listening though. Then, she suddenly called the waiter and ordered meat pie and ice cream for herself and she was eating and listening to me. Isn’t that callous? She didn’t even ask me whether I’m hungry, she just ate, listened and replied me,” he wrote.

He concluded the post by asking followers for advice on whether he should continue pursuing the relationship, humorously adding, “Should I fling?”
She just taught him how not to be an insensitive dullard. He spoke for 1 whole hour at an eatery and did not order anything, that is a giant red flag. Glad she had sense.

Christianity Etc › Re: God Does Not Exist: Nigeria Is The Best Proof by LordReed(m):
DeepSight:
Hello Reed,

Now, I am going to make an exception in my usual approach. I usually try to communicate based on logic and with premises that build an argument. However this question you have asked, I sense is a sincere inquiry and not an argumentative one. And even if it happens to be argumentative, I have decided to approach it differently. So in this instance, I will make an exception and simply share my personal experiences with regard to your question. In doing so, I risk being seen as perhaps deluded or even psychotic but no matter, I am not one to be bothered what people think of me. So here goes.

In terms of dreams, a spiritual dream is recognized by its very nature - it often comes out of the blue and out of sync with the petty matters of everyday life. Our nature is such that as we sleep off, all the matters in our minds begin to play around in our subconscious and often crop up as dreams of this and that everyday matter. These dreams are run of the mill and are of the physical and mental realm only. Dreams which involve the spirit are often strikingly different. In my personal experience these elements tend to pop up:

1. The dream is strikingly real and feels like something that has happened in real life, not just like a dream

2. The dream often involves symbols, and very often other-worldly creatures and beings unknown to this world

3. The dream presents you with abnormal powers and capacities

4. The dream predicts the future with uncanny accuracy

Since I was a child I have had a steady flow of dreams which predict the future with staggering accuracy, and this has become a normal part of my life. It is way too consistent and way too accurate for me to ignore or deny it, so much so that I know that there is little that can happen around me which I do not see ahead in a dream. I have repeatedly told people around me exactly what will happen in their lives in a short while, or who will die suddenly, and unfailingly it comes to pass in staggering detail. This kind of thing enables me to know that these are not run off the mill dreams, which often just involve spatterings or memory and daily activities playing around in one's mind.

Let me move deeper. At a point, I began to have the ability to be lucid in my dreams. This is called lucid dreaming and it is a state where one is in a dream and one is aware that it is a dream. When I began to master the art, I would recognise that I am in a dream and then be able to take control of the dream and go to spiritual locations and observe events and places which one cannot access in the waking world.

This led me to gradually begin my first astral travels, because I realized that in that state, I could begin to float in what appears to be a world-ether and go to varying places and interact with other beings. I realized this was real when I began to go to places far away from my home and the next day, be able to recount to the people there exactly what transpired where they where, and who did what, etc - with accuracy. This has left people around me doumfounded and I know its something very real - it's not a trick of the mind.

Let me add that I am not special in this regard, almost everyone has these capacities, people just key into them at varying levels or not at all.

The spiritual is very real. However these things are beyond what can be argued or proven with normal logic and certainly not with science as we know it. Maybe a day will come when we will evolve to a level of science that addresses such things. Let me stop here.

Try and see the movie "Behind her eyes" on Netflix. It gives a very clear idea of the sort of thing I am talking about in terms of astral presence and astral travel.
I had to take my time in responding because I wanted to thoroughly ruminate as some of your own experiences are mine as well which is what leads me to my dilemma. Previously when I was a believer, I would have agreed with you that these experiences where spiritually or even spirit driven. However, when I think about it now that I am no longer a believer, I realise the only reason I would have agreed with you baack then would be because I believed.

The thing with your 4 criteria is how can we say that they are truly indicative of spirits and not just the effect of being part of the universe? Like I said I have had similar experiences even now as an atheist which I cannot attribute to spirits since I have no belief in them and still left no way to tell.

With no way to objectively confirm that these things are spirit based would you say that you believe them to be so?

Also, not sure why you want me to watch a fictional series, what would that provide evidence for?

He over reacts at everything, I will just laugh at some and some I will calm him down.

I overlooked the attitude that day thinking maybe he had a bad day, but on our 2nd meeting, he did same thing again.

The annoying part is that he didn't see anything wrong in doing that, he sees it as a normal thing.🤦No remorse.

I cannot come and die because I see man wey get big car😂

He is old in age but he can still drive

The issue is anytime I'm driving him
Instead of him to relax
He will turn to Conductor every 2 seconds, sometimes he will shout that I'm speeding to fast but I'm not going past 60 kmph

Today I drove him to village and on the way he did the same shouting and telling me to look out for bumps.

This distracts me and makes me lose focus. Out of anger i shouted back at him to keep quiet and allow me drive.
That i have eyes and i can see the bumps

Now i told him that he should never enter my car or unless he will keep quiet and allow me concentrate on my driving.
No talking, he should keep it shut through out the whole journey.

Now he is feeling bad, did i do anything bad??
Yeah, you could have been nicer about it but nobody likes a backseat driver. Apologise to him for shouting at him but remain firm that you will not tolerate backseat driving. You can even compromise with him that you won't drive above a certain speed to reassure him you are being careful.

Aren't you still actively going from thread to thread as you used to do when I first started here? But you seem to be the only one left of all those atheists I met here doing a similar job, despite saying there are more of you now than back then, that why I wondered how possible?

For me, a lot has changed since then, as I'm virtually inactive when compared to then, far fewer threads, posts and comments, yet more impactful than ever and reaching much more souls with the Gospel of Christ than even when i used be most active here.

The reaction of haters to my threads and posts shouldn't be news to you, because that's probably the most consistent part since I came here, preaching the same Gospel of Jesus Christ that He was hated for preaching and also said we will be hated for preaching.
Dude, you virtually have threads on the frontpage every Sunday, don't tell me you are inactive. I mostly come here when I am bored or need to reply to people who respond to me.

You know I don't do sentiments like some other Christian folks and and rate you more than most of them. I have chosen you severally to moderate issues between me and other atheists. LoLz. When last did you see me make a thread on here? Meanwhile anytime your topics hit the frontpage you can see how many people come out to call you out on your BS.

The only cause I work for is maintaining as much accurate information as possible. What tends to happen is most religious ideas are based on BS so the inevitable clash occurs. You cannot believe ancient stories and be in line with reality.

As for the heresies of tithing, Oyedepo said that about Job, while David Ibiyeomie said the one about Adam eating his tithe, with the rest coming from other prosperity preachers, including Adeboye who has since apologized for one of them.
LoLz! You are the one accusing Oyedepo but can't show where he said what you claim he said. I am showing you via Becky Enenche that whatever Oyedepo preaches is what the Enenches preach with regards to tithing.
