DesChyko: Well, it's not like we are expecting anything less. US is a big brother to all African countries. This is a picture taken in the Oval office.
It is always a US President seated at the Resolute desk in any formal setting and it's not like we expect to see anyone else seated there; or 5 additional chairs arranged around it. Moreover, he is the host at the meeting.
Much ado about nothing.
Can you show me a picture of Trump seated while a European leader is standing?
FreeIgboho: You ought be frightened. Because u r reading spiritual words without an iota of spirituality
FreeIgboho: By the way I have answer to your quiz ready as I promised: Yaweh told them to kill everyone because anyone that is left will be carrying unbearable sorrow and guilt and as you'd expect, a merciful, compassionate God wouldn't want that.
You get it now?
LoLz! Guy your own matter don pass be careful. Bwahahahahahaha!
FreeIgboho: How the heck was I lying?? People do call people good all the time, but not the "good" used by Jesus as applicable to only the Father because he alone has that attribute
LoLz! This is why they say interpreting the Bible is just a mirror. You can interpret it to any nonsense you like.
FreeIgboho: Don't have me start wondering if u r kuku. I've long since answered your question. NO!! NO!!! NOOOOO!!!! Jesus NEVER lies!!! That the "good" attribute (which is NOT what you think it is) only applies to the Father does not mean he's not God the Son of God!!!
Ok so it was you who was lying?
FreeIgboho: See blatant dishonesty. People call people good all the time including you, and no one complains
FreeIgboho: I've already answered your question. Geez! Just because only the Father is "good" does not mean only the Father is God. Jesus was an incarnation of God on earth, and the type of "good" we're talking about is attributable only to the Father
That does not answer the question I asked you. The question again: Is the Jesus dishonest because he purportedly said nobody is good except the god?
FreeIgboho: I'm just trying to show you that "good" is NOT what you think it means. Besides, where does it say that "good" precludes one from being God. God Son of God is an incarnation of the Father, but is not the Father!
Oga you can keep trying to dodge while I wait for you to answer the question.
FreeIgboho: I answer you with a question, was he lying when he said he and the Father are one, and when you see him you've seen the Father?
And is he lying here?
John 10 33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’[d]? 35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside— 36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? 37 Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. 38 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” 39 Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp.
Oga answer my question stop trying to change the subject.
Kobojunkie: This is simple, really! There is absolutely no scientific or philosophical proof as to the existence or non-existence of a God. The assertion that no gods exist is contained within the scope of religion, where anything is allowed.
It's very simple really, atheists lack of belief is not a belief.
FreeIgboho: We don't have "a god" in Christianity. We only have one God and Jesus is an incarnation of that one God. Use your head sometimes. This is someone they just accused of claiming to be God
Don't change the subject with inanities. Is the Jesus dishonest because he purportedly said nobody is good except the god?
Image123: We're not robots. On this thread, you're talking about your independence from religion, a religion which we both know. i don't have to be in your thoughts to remember.
Dude you even wrote it yet you can't still figure it out. Independence from RELIGION not a religion meaning all religions not just the one I was practicing in the past. If I want to talk about Christianity I would have mentioned it by name. Stop trying to dribble your own shadow. LMAO.
Image123: Ahh, what are you talking about? Were your posts here about 8 years ago in your mind. Don't they point to the fact that you used to worship God and Jesus? Is it not on this same platform that we talked about even your family?
LoLz. We are talking about this thread and you jump to posts from 8 years ago. Guy just accept you have nothing further to say and rest. Bwahahahahahaha!
DeepSight: Do you know the practice of taking a person to a river to have his head washed in order to re-route hs destiny or remove cobwebs from his brain?
That may be the sort of thing FreeIgboho requires.
FreeIgboho: Things always end up happening how they were meant to happen. Example, God would never have left such a momentous part of his plan to the fickle mind of Judas. Yet he must have tossed and turned all night trying to make a decision!
FreeIgboho: Know the difference between mere translation and a whole new version
LoLz. Gosh you are terrible at this. So you don't know that each version is a fresh translation of whatever manuscripts (especially if they just found previously undiscovered manuscripts) that are available for the books? Dude, I beg you go read up on this and stop embarrassing yourself with this display of ignorance.
FreeIgboho: So what is your own take? Do we have free will? Let's also hear the take of our other discussants: Maxindhouse, Janosky, Lordreed, DeepSight, tctrills, Dtruthspeaker, Everyday247, Ruke1990, sonmvayina
If by free will you mean completely free from any influence or causal determinants then no we do not have free will. We have wills that are influenced by causal determinants. This doesn't mean all our choices are predetermined but that there's a certain chance they will follow a predetermined outcome.
Nnamdipapa: Congrats bro for your independence from mental bondage. Nigeria will be liberated one day and people will learn to think with their brains.
I hope so. We are too steeped in superstition and religion has pushed us further down.
