Based on the current attack on the Guards Brigade by armed bandits in Abuja barely 24hrs after threatening to kidnap buhari there may not be election in 2023 I think buhari wants to disguise and allow Boko Haram/fulani/bandits to take over power from him in a coup style then he and them will start full Islamization of Nigeria (which is very easy for them because they already have Boko Haram/fulani members in key positions and in every state in Nigeria) the same way the Taliban is running Afghanistan same Taliban buhari gave one million dollars to.
I warned people about buhari in 2015 because when he was president in 1983 he wanted to make Nigeria a member of OIC (organization of Islamic countries) which CAN (christian association of Nigeria) kicked against and prevented.
I believe 2023 election will not hold.

I don't understand why many people see Peter Obi as a saviour for our country. Many of them cannot tell you the reasons why they are supporting his Presidential bid. It is very correct that he is educated more than his fellow competitors for the same office, but his presidency will be a disaster.

It's rather unfortunate that Nigeria operates a bicameral legislation. That alone will be his albatross. How can he perform creditably well when he has a very few members of his party in the Legislative and hallowed Chambers? How will he accent to bills voted by the majority from the opposition that may run contrary to his position? How many state governors are members of his party. This man will fail woefully. His failure at the centre will usher in another four years of torture and servitude.

Nigerians must shine their eyes. Labour party cannot be at the centre while his few minority in the Senate and House of Representatives will be mere puppets. Labour party is an unpopular party with a very inexperienced presidential candidate.

Please I am begging you not to waste that vote. Only the progressives will agree with me. The internet OBIdients may not see it in this light.

As for me, I would rather not vote, than to vote for a man who has no party structure.

PRESIDENT BUHARI APPOINTS HON. NASIRU ILA SENIOR AIDE ON NATIONAL ASSEMBLY MATTERS

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Honourable Nasiru Baballe Ila as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives).

Hon Nasiru, a product of Victory College, Alexandria and West London College, United Kingdom, was a successful businessman with interests in haulage, ginnery and tannery before his foray into politics.

In 2011 and 2015, he was voted into the lower chamber of the National Assembly as a member representing Tarauni Federal Constituency in Kano.

The Chartered member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, (ANAN), replaces Hon. Umar Ibrahim El-Yakub who has been appointed Minister by the President.

If government ban Okada without providing alternative means of livelihood for the okada men, trust me crime rate will increase.
As if that is not enough, some commuters too will suffer. What about those selling motor cycle spare parts, mechanics et al. It won't be easy ooo.

Am in support of Federal government to ban okada Nationwide, In Benin city Edo state there's nothing like okada. Dem no born you well to ride okada for Benin city. I have been there and I have seen things for myself. The level in which those causing insecurity operates today is through okada. Not only that, okada people do take laws into their hands. If anything happens before u know okada people have killed the person or wound the person. There are many things okada people are doing in this country which the Federal government need to look into it and totally ban okada for life in Nigeria. That enforcement ban needs to be prompt with immediate effect. 70% of crime rates in Nigeria today are carried through the means of okada.

PRESIDENT BUHARI TO KASHIM SHETTIMA: I WILL RESPOND TO YOU WHEN I AM HANDING OVER TO YOU AND YOUR BOSS

President Muhammadu Buhari struck a chord of humour on Wednesday at the State House while responding to a flowery speech by Senator Kashim Shettima, the Running Mate and Vice Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, saying, “I will respond to your speech when I am handing over to you and your boss. God willing, you are going to win.”

President Buhari, who received the VP Candidate shortly after he was unveiled by the leadership of the Party and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said he is very happy with the choice of the former Governor of Borno State as running mate.

“I wish you the best. Your consistency in the party is very respectful. You served your two terms as Governor and finished well. You have kept touch with your base. At every important occasion or event, you are maintaining support for the one who succeeded you. This is commendable,“ he said.

The President expressed strong optimism that the APC ticket will emerge victorious in 2023.
In his remarks, the Vice Presidential Candidate thanked the President for his “empathy, support and positive role," leading to his emergence as Running Mate to the APC Presidential Candidate.

He praised the President for having “a special place in your heart for Borno and Northeast,” adding, “I can cite 20-30 instances of support you have rendered, for which you will be remembered.”

He mentioned the establishment of the North East Development Commission, NEDC, and the Independent Power Plant for Maiduguri by the NNPC, “after many years of darkness,” saying that “words cannot describe our appreciation of your support. We will remain eternally grateful."

The former Governor of Borno State requested the President to appreciate his successor, Babagana Zulum who was in his company, along with the Minister of State, Agriculture, Mustapha Baba Shehuri, for spurning “recurring mention” of him and pressure from his Governor colleagues to bid for the Vice Presidential ticket.
The Candidate pledged to remain “loyal and devoted” to the President, promising that his Vice-Presidency will not be for the “troika of Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri,” but for all Nigeria, irrespective of ethnicity, religion or geographical place of origin.
