You say you want to diversify from oil yet you continue to entrench yourselves in it. Stopping dependency on oil to me means liquidating the NNPC and getting the hell out. Dangote says he is buiding a massive refinery. Why not throw in your lot with a company of proven track record, a home grown private entity who has done it for a host of other commodities. There was a time in history cement was like petrol today, here today scarce tomorrow, cheap today, expensive tomorrow. That era is gone because government gave up the cement business. Why can't it give up the oil and gas business....if not for corruptive, manipulative interests.
