kingmexy1997:everything is on point except the bolded.. game data, app data and saved games are stored on either the phone memory(most phones) or the SD card. that's why you need to consider the ROM/internal storage of a phone b4 buying. the ram is the memory where the software is located while it's running and the data it's using.. it is used for data that needs to be accessed immediately and it's lost when the power is cut off. . both the os and the apps use the ram while the phone is running.. low ram causes lagging because the game or app is unable to access the data it needs at the moment because of the small space available.. the same data used by d apps are saved permanently on the SD card (internal/external) but temporarily on the RAM.. |
