einsteino: in my experience, it depends on the post office that receives it. some post office are quite efficient, again having a P.O.Box or Private mail bag does help too. Also if you or a friend work at a place that receives mail regularly, you could use the address.
post office in Nigeria do work quite well, the problem is nobody get your time to burn energy to come deliver am to you, so not a few times, your mail just sits at the post office. The guys there typically would deliver it if they have mail to deliver to someone or firm in your area wey fit annoint their hand for the troubles or cause gbege for them if they dont.
What i do when i am expecting a mail and it doesnt get delivered, is to visit the post office in charge, speak to one of the officials politely in the Nigerian way(u kno wat i mean), this always gets me my mail if they received it. inshort these days once they receive a mail that bears my name, na them dey phone me sef lol, no play o, a lil motivation would get a nigerian working better than an expatriate. okay thanks, i will rather use regular post then. |

kissoflife: I am post ITA and facing the same problem. The thing is your ECA was not done for immigration, so on WES page, you just order a duplicate for IRCC purpose and the reference number will change to the one mentioned here (same number but will end in IMM). I already did that and waiting for my report today or tomorrow. If you are pre ITA better to do this now cos I learnt the new date of issue will change to the date of your new IRCC duplicate. As for me I will just have to write an LOE to correct the error as it will not lower my score Good morning, do i need to include my waec for ECA cause it was stated that i should include secondary and higher education study for analysis. Also please did you pay $322.05 and how do i pay? |

cochtrane: standard is normal post (NIPOST?), while tracking is via courier (DHL & co). Of course, the latter is faster than the former. okay thank you |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Losami(m): 9:17pm On Aug 24, 2017 |
cochtrane: WES is an institution located in Canada and the US. They help other institutions evaluate educational credentials. After the evaluate the credentials, they produce something called an ECA. The first thing you need to do is create an account on www.wes.org/ca/ that's the Canada offshoot of WES. Then fill everything and input your own mailing address. That's the address WES will send the ECA report to when they are done with the assessment. You will pay on WES website, whether via credit card, your GTB card or Western Union. They will usually send the final report to you by post or courier. Depends on the option you choose.
Now, you need to give WES address to your university after you create your account on WES and you have a reference number. You need to include this reference number in a form with your transcript that will go to them.
This is the address you'll give to your university to send your transcript. You'll put your reference number in that space provided:
WES Reference No. _ _ _ _ _ _ World Education Services Attention: Documentation Center 2 Carlton Street, Suite 1400 Toronto, Ontario M5B 1J3 Canada please what delivery option do i choose? the standard (no tracking) or the tracking |

Algbenguze: You stand a good chance if that's what you want to know. But it depends on ur IELTS score and maybe an additional year work experience. As advised, channel your energy into IELTS and aim for minimum band 8777 in LRSW modules respectively. With that you'll be putting yourself in a very good position. okay. thank you |

Kontagious: Hi, please be sure to put in the right variables when calculating your projected CRS... January 2016 (that you graduated) to date is not up to two years and I doubt you got posted same January, anything short of two years is deemed one year. Although, I think you get same point for 1 and 2 years work experience.
In all, be sure you are calculating the right thing. i started working at the company as a part time staff before i graduated, when i did in january, i resumed fully and i was able to get my nysc redeployment back to the company. thanks tho |

Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Losami(m): 9:25am On Aug 23, 2017 |
cochtrane: If you get max scores on your IELTS, you should have 416. You are losing more points from experience. If you had 3 years experience, you would have 441. You think you could factor in NYSC, if that's available? if not, then you could probably start your application and hope that by the time you get your docs ready, you are adding one more year of work experience to your portfolio. Even if you became a year older by then, you'd still have 441points, which is good. Of course, that's provided the CRS cut-off stays as low as it has been these past months. i factored in nysc and that was how i was able to get 2years of work experience. i graduated january 2016. |

good evening guys. i tried to read the thread but i ended up being more confused than i was initially, Please i am so new to this and i really dunno what to do or how to start. i intend on studying MBA in canada (because i intend to stay back and work, and i feel MBA will increase my chances of getting a good paying job) but the issues now is when i tried to google schools their tuition is something else with little or no say on funding international students. But i know there are reputable schools out there that i can apply to with my little $20,000 (canadian dollars) and probably also get a waiver on my tuition. But i just don't know how to go about it. I graduated with a 2.1 in Economics. please i just need someone to be my guide and enlighten me on schools i should apply for, what exams i need to take, how to apply quick for scholarships/funding and getting a visa.like which one comes first AND is it possible for me to start the processing/ exams and still make it for the resumption in January or so. pleaseeeeeeeee i need help... please |
