Kubernetes: The contract was awarded during the PDP regime 10 years back. But it was a corrupt and over inflated award by the PDP as a result of bribery. APC discovered sunrise coy is not capable etc. A reassessment was done to ascertain if really they were not capable and if really it was inflated. The allegations was found to be true, as such it was terminated. Sunrise went to international court and got the judgment. So if they have all this fact as you claimed then why do we have to settle them? |

Meanwhile, the source and power that backed these people up are beyond the shores of this country. And this is the reason why a businessman shouldn't rely on government sources alone. As a businessman, your business should go beyond the shore of this country because if any government want to deal with you, he can do it successfully knowing fully well that all your investment is on the shores of this country....and Nigeria's government often are not reliable they usually change policies NEPA light ..meanwhile, BDC has been in existence before emefiele was born...some of this BDC owners were even born into the business. They know the dynamics of the business and they have powerful networks...I was surprised one day when Aboki dollar told me that if I want to change one million dollars the money is available... divinehand2003: BDCs are already well established businesses. Their networks will make it impossible to pull them down.
Whether CBN likes it or not, customers will prefer doing business with BDCs than going to join endless queues in Nigerian banks. Most Nigerian citizens are educated illiterate. The question is do they buy at 390 from those customers? Does it make sense to buy 20k usd weekly at 390 and sell at 500? If they buy now directly from customers and also sell to customers will they make the same crazy profit they make when they get from CBN? This policy is brave policy and a very important for this country. If you don't understand what CBN is trying to do just keep quiet. |

When it comes to foreign transactions, there should be electronic conversion via commercial banks ( through individual account that is domiciled in a commercial banks) and this does not involve physical touch of Dollars . Our leaders know what to do but there is no political will to do it Can you go to United States and find Naira being moved physically ? Or China ? Of what value is your naira? Beancounter94: The thing is, cost reflective tariffs have not been implemented because most of you Nigerians would not want to pay it.
The problem with Nigeria is that we want free of charge. The day we wake up and realize that nothing comes free in Freetown is the day we will have light 24/7. Wrong assumption. It has been implemented and ppl are already paying it when they buy prepaid credit. The question you should ask yourself is, why is it that the distribution company has failed to give metre to customers ? Isn't that the first thing to do if you really intend to sell energy? You don't expect ppl to pay for darkness. |

That is all. Who is stopping it? Just recently we heard cost reflective tariffs. How do you encourage ppl to pay more ? The cost reflective tariff has it been implemented? Do we have ppl that are paying according to the band? Do we have ppl that getting the 16hrs average power supply? These are the things that encourages ppl to pay. Ppl are paying for meter and yet a distribution company cannot to provide metre. |

FutureIsFemale: Dear women, invest in yourselves. Forget these chameleons who keep changing every second. They don't worth it.
Please permit me to say this. Men are very wicked. They are ready to waste your life. Imagine marrying a lady just for clout. You care not about her emotions and her biological clock. Very selfish lots. A man would date a lady for years.. Pinning her down with fake marriage promises. Deep down he knows he won't marry her yet he will chose to tie her down. My God will continue to punish every male child that has ever promised a lady marriage and dump her for another woman.
Time is the only resource that can't be recovered. Men know this. And they are fully aware of a woman's clock. Yet they chose to waste women's time. My God will judge them. If not for Biblical purpose, I see no reason I should get married. These men don't deserve it.
It's different if you are planning on marrying a girl and something serious like health challenge happens and you later cancel your plans. Why keep a woman in your custody for years when you know you won't marry her? What's the sense in it? God will punish you all marriage-promise-breakers. It will not be well with you all.
I am not even reacting to the thread base on the subject matter. I am reacting to the thread base on how men waste women's time all in the name of marriage. God will punish them. And point of correction. I am not on NL for likes. If I wanted likes I would say sweet words about men. To hell with NL likes. I am here as a voice for women.
It seem you don't know who men are. The worst pretenders I have ever seen. Some would go as far as introducing you to their family members and coming to see your family for introduction. Deep down they know they won't marry you. They will leave you to public disgrace. Forget it. If I tell you my story you will weep. I don't wish any woman what I've gone through in the hands of men.
They key word here is "MARRIAGE FOR CLOUT". Meaning that no matter how good this girl is, he will still dump her after his clout chasing days are over.
Marriage is not a choice. It is a command. Genesis 2:24 Genesis 9:7 Deuteronomy 23:2 Women are also evil. |

HigherEd: To answer you, the living faith church is in 71 nations of the earth. Many of them poor countries, e.g living faith has strong presence in Congo. Also, not all nations are open to a ministry. The living faith once closed her branches in Japan. Once they realized the error of being in Japan without a divine mandate, they closed the church and advised members there to find another church to attend. The divine mandate is whatever the GO says right? China and Japan will not allow such manipulation. We can do that in Africa because of high level of poverty |
