Good day folks, I have two separate t-bills that will mature on same day this week with same bank. I have misplaced my certificate for the transaction. How would they pay me back my money now that I no longer hold the certificate for transactions? Would I face any complications in getting back my money from my bank?
None at all

My brother, attending NNPC interview and doing well at it is not a guarantee to getting the job. I talk from experience. A bird in hand is worth 10 in the Bush.
My advice is that you should confide in one of the training centre coordinators/facilitators.
I also work in a bank and I have sneaked out to attend couple of interviews including NNPC interview (some years ago). In each case I confided in my immediate supervisors and they were very willing to cover me.

can you help me with cost breakdown of getting a won bid from Copart down to Lagos including clearing. Like:
1. total fees to pay to Copart
2. cost of shipping down to Lagos
3. your professional fees
4. cost of clearing (I am interested in Toyota Sienna or highlander 2006/2007)
5. any other cost not covered in 1-4 above.

Can i do the bidding on my own and you handle the rest after the bid has been won?

Are u sure with what you are saying or is it just that bigotry has blinded you?

You are entitled to your own bigotry Mr Man.

Look at the names of players in the U20 squad. They were selected from a particular part of the country and almost totally excluding a particular part of the country.
They assembled a useless team that has zero creativity. Unless that team is totally overhauled, they won't make it out of group stage in the U20 world cup

Family / Re: Money Found Hidden Under A Mattress By A Guest In My Home. What Does This Mean? by louken(m): 8:46pm On Sep 04, 2018

I rarely have guests. This guest was the last guest to stay in the room.

I had one or two guests prior to this particular guest but I rule them out, as the cover for the bottom mattress on which the money was found was purchased in anticipation of the guest's arrival and placed on the bottom mattress just before the guest arrived. In summary, the money was found hidden n between two mattresses, on top of a bottom mattress covered with a bedspread that was purchased and placed there just before the guest arrived.

Given the above, it is hard to conceive of any other person placing the money there - I rarely have guests, have had no guests since this guest was here.

Then call him and ask if he left any money in the room. Nothing could be simpler. When you get his response bring it here. Let's take it up from there.

I am not at all opposed to returning the money, but the question for me is why was the money hidden under the mattress in the first place? if the money was forgotten in an exposed, unhidden place, I would have found it within 24-48 hours of the guest's departure and immediately called the guest to arrange the return of the money.

In this case, many many many moths after the guest's departure, I find the money hidden under the mattress. I find this strange, very strange. How am I sure the money was "forgotten"? Perhaps it was purposefully left there. The guest never contacted me to indicate their money was forgotten. I find this strange, very strange.

My post is not an attempt to get justification to keep the money. Thankfully, I do not need the money. My post here was to get an understanding of why a guest would leave money carefully hidden under a mattress and never indicate to me they "forgot" money there and request its return.

Any thoughts on the motivation behind the guest's mysterious action are welcome.
Ok. I got your point. I'm not a superstitious person. It is natural for an average Nigerian to think that the guy did juju with the money or that he was trying to set you up. It is strange though. Did any other guest use the room before or after the guy used it. For all you know, it might have been left there by another person. How often do you have guests that use the room and do you always look under the bed after each one leaves?
My guess is that whoever kept the money:
1. Ran into problems somewhere and is unable to come back to pick it
2. Still intends to come back for it at a future date
3. Has forgotten about it after looking for it at the wrong places.
I ruled out juju. They don't usually use huge wads of notes for ritual. One or few pieces of naira notes would usually serve.

There's this saying that a man's money is for the family whereas a woman's money is for her alone. If the wife believes in this ideology, the man should kindly hold on to his job. No time to take nonsense
