hello lov4sat, move the remote control very close to the decoder and operate it, it will work that way. the 53x remote is not very good.

I use the remote control for the new 69x I just bought and it work with it I am sure the fault is from the box and not the remote

go to manual setting delete the multitv frequency 12550 or 12551 and add it again manually remember the symbol rate 19531

Hello House,

Please can some body help me on this I nailed Astra2B yesterday evening using this frequency 12543H SR20800 I got Infinity and Multitv channels, all the infinity channels are showing but  hanging at a point even with some at 58-76% but all Multi TV channels are all in red with 0% signal level.

Can some body give more info on this if any frequency for Multi TV

Like I posted here some weeks back concerning my SRT4653X box, the box has been fix by a pro who did the magic in just one day and the box come on. The problem now is the remote control which is not responding to the decoder. my question here now is this, is this another fault or what cos I took out the batteries from the remote and insert it into my DVD remote it works so the problem is not from the batteries.

Please some body should advise me more on this, though I am buying the SRT 4669X today for 16.5k.

However the guy has confirmed to me that he has fixed box and it is working now. but if it does not perform properly upon delivery I have no other option than to just buy a new SRT4669X box to start enjoying Mpeg 4 channels like most guys on this thread.

I have this Strong SRT4653X which I have been using over a year now but went off all of a sudden when I was tracking W4/W7 and never came on again. My question here is can this decoder still be fixed or this is the end of the decoder.

I beg make somebody help me with information cos one technician has been holding it for over a week now with different story.

I once visited strong website and follow the instruction on the site but my computer could not see the decoder connected through the RS232 cable, Pls I need a way forward. Thanks

Oga George I did as you said this evening though not for a long time yet cud not hit green on this bird. is there some thing that I am missing.tracking dstv position is no problem but if move my dish up a bite my meter reading increases but no green.

I only chance at weekend and more so from my meter it indicates that the satellite a little up above dstv position and I get high signal b
ut hitting green is the problem. I will do as you said this weekend and get back to you God bless you my brother.

Oga George I tried to track this satellite but I couldn't hit green on it. I need more on this.

Hi guys mytv africa is fta rescan your decoders for all their channels

it is confirmed that mytv channels are now FTA because they are migrating to mpeg 4 digital broadcasting.
I believe as soon as the migrate is complete they will encrypt the channels again

Please can one track this satellite with a 90cm dish in Port Harcourt, if yes how do one go about it?

i can see your obviously well kitted for this job what with the sat finder.

since you already know how to nail w4/w7 then you won't sweat much before w3a
will pop up on your screen. just do like i said above and your sat finder will do the rest.

no, you cannot receive badr 4/6 with 90cm in ph. the minimum dish size you need is 2.4m solid
pan or fibre.

to track w3a, first start from dstv position. after you have gotten dstv, move your dish to your right and up almost facing the sky. go about it slowly watching the signal bars. use the globecast tp: 12728v, 30,000sr.

I will go about it this weekend I believe with the help of my satellite finder meter I don't really need to keep an on the signal bars since it has a tone and a reading from the meter will let me know when the satellite is nailed, cos I have used the meter to nail W4/W7 where I received both DSTV and HItv channels

I would also like to know if it is possible to track Badr4/6 with a 90cm dish here in Port Harcourt.
