Update:

Just finished speaking with her neighbour this evening. He told me they had made good progress regarding establishing contact with her family.


He said he received lots of calls from some of her extended family in Delta state and some in Lagos. They said her kith and kin in the village would be holding a family meeting to discuss matters pursuant to picking up her corpse next week from the morgue in Lagos and taking it to Delta for burial.


My purpose of creating the thread early this morning has been achieved and my work is done.


Thanks to all the Nairalanders who assisted in connecting Victorian's family with her neighbours. According to the neighbour, it was until Nairalanders weighed in that they were able to make progress.


Let's all pray for the repose of the soul Victoria Puegeren. May she Rest in Peace.

Yeah, I reached out to him and I'm quite sure he should be in contact with the family members by now.

I don't know the deceased in person nor have I had any form of contact with her when she was alive but I was moved by the comments here and from facebook about how she's really a nice and wonderful character, I decided to give it my best shot to help find her family, it's the least she deserve even in death.

I have been able to get one of her family member, I forwarded her number to them, there are family members in Lagos who will reach out to her neighbors via her number. I'm sure they will take it up from there.

I don't know too, that's why I've been giving different options in my head.
Normally, every tenant fills a form before getting an accommodation, the form bears the details of the next of kin. They use this information to trace a tenant in case of crime or a situation like this.
If she has a caretaker or landlord, every landlord should have this info. If they don't, that's carelessness, Police should hold such caretaker responsible.

Another option is her FB page which is not the best approach, but there's no other option than to do that for now.

Another option is her notification bar, depends on the type of phone lock, her fiance might send her a chat or message which could be used to contact him. He might know some useful details.

She also has a fashion school, one of her students might know her closely enough to have details of her relatives.

Then, her incoming calls, someone close to her definitely would call.

But for now, as far as I'm concerned, before her cadaver starts turning to something else, I expect her landlord or caretaker to contact the police, from here if any other thing fails, police would give reports that can be used to contact her bank or network provider. These would for sure have her next of kin details.

Her place or work or former place of work. I don't really know why it's so hard for her neighbors.

You’ll approach to buy anything from a shop. The next thing 2-3 guys don show. They’ll disguise as shop owner but no be them get shop. They’ll sell you fake things and run, you’ll return to complain to discover they don’t even work nor own shops.

I personally believe the shop owners are always involving all these atrocities. Of course they’ll be getting a certain percentage off each transaction..

Computer village is a very great market, but the yeeboz have destroyed it above average and if something isn’t done about this, they’ll wreck it and leave to another location. That’s how they usually DO!

The least I ever did was asking a friend to lend me money � for my business due to the lockdown nd non of them responded.. Nd I doubled my hustle, m.doing fine now.. So why will some ladies be stupid.. I used to spend 3k 4k on my hair nd tiring plus I dont have time going to saloon..
M not a hair stylist but I saw how they are doing it each I make my hair.. Guess what I did,
I bought the baby head nd cap for wig, weavon, bonding.. Nd m doing wig myself now without spending much money �..
