Politics / Re: Italian Consortium, AGS Meets Gov Otti Over Investment In Abia by LOVEALAIGBO: 5:02pm On Mar 29
Read the post, and as much as i’m pleased with the developmental strides in Abia, i still can’t fully relax knowing the wider environment and national political-economy the state gov’t is part of and subject to! I see some of us getting too comfortable….which in turn will lead to complacency and letting ones guard down! There are some who have a superiority-complex and see Igbo as the ‘competition’ that should be held down under a glass ceiling using the powers their control of the centre affords them! There are others who do not like Igbos’ owing to religious, political and historical factors! People with the aforementioned mindset are in control of security and, out of hate and envy, can easily but covertly engineer insecurity in the south-east so investors run away or relocate to another region! These traducers can also use their control of the centre to frustrate potential investors from coming into Abia state in particular and the south-east in general! As we speak, we’re now hearing how GEOMETRIC is facing gas supply challenges in their quest to give Aba 24/7 electricity.

Looking at another angle to how things play out in Nigeria, hope you all can remember a certain president who directed the World Bank President to focus most of their interventions in his part of the country!?

The only thing that will guarantee Abia state a conducive environment for investment is a TOTALLY restructured Nigeria or its dismemberment so everyone can go answer their papa name!

There are a set of impostors that have taken up residence on Igbo-themed threads! They are very persistent and patient in their guile and quest to convince some naive Igbo that they're one of us, and they don't mind keeping up this pretence for years before finally revealing their true colours! Some of these idiots dick-measuring, posting unflattering pics of Igbo cities and trying to make it look like we're all at daggers drawn and at each others throats....some of them are the same person using multiple monikers. And there are actually some of us who fall for their divisive antics and make their day by abusing fellow Igbo states....mission accomplished! shocked

Some we should fry dodo.

He is a billionaire and most likely doesn't care. He would change the label of his tomatoe paste and still sell them. He told CNN when they called him that he would rather die than let that girl destroy an image he has spent 40years building.

Even those countries themselves do the same thing. Chioma should enjoy her time being dragged. She was all cool and even told anyone that cared to listen that the company should take her to court. Now she is crying. Her 11,000 followers on Facebook that she was telling that the tomatoe paste is killing people can't help her.

Next time, for a product review, all she needed to do was drop her review and move on, instead of creating a defamation discussion with her 11,000 followers on Facebook in a bid to destroy the company.

Spot on!

It’s obvious there’s a concerted effort by some to try and demonise ERISCO…..for whatever reason! They’ve now tried to internationalise their campaign after seeing it fizzling out locally! I support him 100%!….however, in seeking to defend his hard-earned reputation, everything should be done by the book and her human rights should not be infringed upon! Let the stupid woman go and defend herself in court!

Delusions. Atiku is APC biggest stumbling block. The feather weight agulu messiah is far from it. He is actually doing the Lord's work in helping to pull PDP down. It is what it is 😂

Guys, i invite you to quickly check this fellas recent post history to see what he’s preoccupied and obsessed about: Peter Obi, LP and anything Igbo….or Atiku and PDP! Your findings will come as no surprise to you! wink

It will be court cases for them till 2027. By that time, Peter Obi the political prostitute would have moved to KOWA since he has zero leadership skills and always looking for rice that's already cooked.

Till now, Peter Obi has not congratulated Abure. The moment he does, then he is endorsing all the corrupt practices of Abure and his party.

Oh, so that’s the plan!? Instigate ‘crises’ in LP in the hopes the party will be rendered useless…..Peter Obi forced to leave…..thereby ensuring Tinubus’ biggest stumbling block to stealing the 2027 presidential election is removed!

The gains LP made in the last cycle of elections is largely down to the stature of Peter Obi, so accusing him of ‘looking for where rice is already cooked’ is laughable! You think Tinubu would have had the conviction to dump APC and move to a obscure party after he made the unfortunate emilokan speech!? Of course not! He rather preferred to stay in APC because he knew that’s where the rigging machinery that will help him steal the election resides!

A APC and Tinubu minion is in no position to point the finger at others…accusing them of ‘endorsing corrupt practices’!

It comes as no surprise that it’s Tinubu minions that are giving the oxygen of publicity to ‘crises and factions in LP’! What’s their concern and obsession with LP and whoever they decide to elect as their chairman!? These are the same schmucks that will have you believe they don’t feel threatened by Peter Obi or LP they claimed is ‘a party of just a handful of people tweeting in a room’!

So Asari is so powerful to cause trouble in SE? Just listening to yourself.

Let's even assume that's the case, where was ESN?

When your enemy is operating covertly and is backed by the state, there’s not much you can do! It stands to reason that a diabolical hegemonic state, such as what Ndigbo/south-east are confronted with since 2015, would do everything to remove anyone or any group they see as likely to mount a challenge to their murderous and nefarious activities in the region! Their going after IPOB, ESN and the continued detention of Mazi Kanu are a case in point! Hope you’ve noticed how the Buhari/Tinubu gov’ts are obsessed with going after the aforementioned and trying to give them negative press? How do you expect ESN, assuming they’re still in existence, to operate fully and protect their people when being hounded and buffeted from all sides by a evil and murderous federal gov’t!?

What stupid point are you trying to make!? Even Abacha has acknowledged that the state can be involved in criminal and covert operations against perceived ‘enemies’! Nigerian history is replete with examples, so what are you on about!? You never read where motor-mouth Asari Dokubo inadvertently exposed the agreement he had with the Fulani gov’t of Buhari to have his boys ‘work’ in the south-east!? The same Asari Dokubo that despises Ndigbo….sees us as 2nd-class, and has said as much in numerous recordings!

Nice one! These are the kind of well-reasoned press releases i expect IPOB to come up with to help counter the murderous campaign of calumny the hegemonic deep-state has mounted against them since 2015 to date! Just as expected, even on a thread that has fckall to do with them, the usual bigoted and Igbo-hating suspects have resurfaced from the sewer to post the usual shit!

Nice one IPOB!

With what this man has done, it would not be out of place if Okija people honour him by renaming their town Obiejesi city. Seriously, he has single-handedly lifted Okija from a diabolic backwater to an emerging, bubbling city. If not for greed of some Igbos, Obijackson had concluded plans to build a 1500MW power station in the same Okija to power the whole of Anambra state and beyond with constant electricity. Anambra state government needs to honour this great man. He is a good example of aku luo uno. A proper Anambra man.

Could be he was getting cold feet on the power plant project owing to the choking hold DISCOs (i think that’s what they’re called) have over power generation and transmission in the regions…..especially after seeing what poor Bath Nnaji went through for 20 years!

I reckon Emeka Offor is just as wealthy as Ernie Azudialu, but they don’t have similar aku ruo uno footprints in the state! I stand to be corrected, but besides his charity that distributes stuff to the needy….and his plaza at Onitsha main market (both commendable efforts nonetheless), there’s not much else by way of investments in the state i can link with Emeka Offor! Like i said, i stand to be corrected!

Been hearing about this 1,500MW power station for close to a decade now! And just like with the Orient refinery and Nkalagu cement factory we were told were in the pipeline and would soon be delivered, it’s getting harder and harder to separate what’s fact from what’s fiction!

but during the week, the federal government and kaduna state government gifted bandits/terrorists millions of naira in cash as ransom to continue their trade.

are bandits now receiving funding from the government?

why is the NFIU not trying to catch the bandits?

with all the NIN, why is the NCC, DSS, Police and military not trying to catch these guys?

It’s becoming clearer by the day that the Nigerian gov’t fear IPOB and Mazi Kanu even more than they do the terrorists, bandits, kidnappers and herdsmen (many of whom are foreigners) operating with brazen temerity all over Nigeria!

Hmm I don't know why You are using such narrative here oo.
Well be informed that Igboland as a Region is not fighting any such wars with ipob leading.
Most of the people who push forward this ipob movement can never lead the great Igbo Tribe in anything.
Imagine someone like that fat Buffon ekperima leading the most Educated People in Nigeria ndi Imo State undecided

That's a joke taken to far.

Ipob should denounce the ESN bcus it has been hijacked. They will continue to be hunted bcus the birds are singing now.

When I totally gave up on ipob was when they went praising the UGM with their leader calling the UGM angels.
That was it for me
.

Can you show us links/proof to where IPOB praised UGM for their murders?

I also agree that there are a lot of impostors and state-sponsored actors posing as IPOB/ESN just to give the bodies a bad name! I doubt ESN exists as a unit anymore! So again, i agree that IPOB should come out and make clarifications as to the continued existence or otherwise of ESN!

Hope you all can see why they want Mazi Kanu still held and kept away from freedom of speech.....so these grey areas and confusion can still persist, which works in the favour of those trying to use the name of IPOB and ESN to murder and cause insecurity in the south-east!?
