PoliticsRe: Voter Registration Towards 2007 Election In Nigeria by LoverBwoy(m): 1:52pm On Nov 20, 2006
As the nationwide voter registration exercise continues across the country, INEC has put in place a rapid response team for possible logistic problems. Accessing reports received so far from the field, the INEC director for Information Communication Technology, (ICT) Emmanuel Akem, said so far, the field reports were heart warming and that possible logistics problems were being contained within the logistics backup put in place by the Commission.
Akem further disclosed that the Direct Capture Technology is very dependable and that the exercise would be very successful.
He assured that every eligible voter who presents himself for registration would be registered as the exercise was continuous and would only stop as stipulated by law.

preach it paddy lo, i like that paddy lo boy he's really spitting da truth, the people that wouldn't want to go back are the one's that do shitty course in school and nonsense job they can't show their face in nigeria because they have nothing to show for it. God forgive me i think i'm wasting time and money here in london because my dad want's me home immediately after graduation. as i calculated it, da money i've made in here so far will be spent on school fees (20,000 ground) and flight back home then what do i have left when i shoulda gone to igbinedion and finish within four years while my dad pays the fees but it's all good. holla
what do you have if you put your dad out of the equation?

the people that wouldn't want to go back are the one's that do shitty course in school
have you thought of it this way, the people that find it difficult to go back are they people that aknowledge the fact that they can maximise their potentials in life. You have the tools there to support you and the people dont do witchcraft on you when you dont give them bribe!

You really deserve it, you hit the nail right on the head!

you'll notice most people spend under a month when they visit

some people cant stand paying tax, bills and whatnots because most of the time their parent did all that for them even get a house when they get married - that is if mommy and daddy didnt get them the daughter of his business associate wink
CareerRe: Should I Go And Work In The Uk? by LoverBwoy(m): 4:46pm On Nov 15, 2006
Good advice

But, maybe that wasn't your reason. Maybe you wanted to experience living in another country? Maybe you want to live in a different type of culture? Maybe you want to join friends and family here? Maybe you want to live somewhere safer and more stable, where you don't need a guard for your house for example?
nah , we are nigerians you know, money first grin

cant you see he blazed his salary so we can see how rich he is grin
TravelRe: ''the Uk'': The True Story: by LoverBwoy(m): 4:39pm On Nov 15, 2006

why person wey wan save money sef go dey live for zone1, u know no say na long throat dey make man complain for U.K,

truth be told dem talk say those polish people dey work like robocop na so so cigar/vodka dem go they shack, dem no even mind if na 10 of them dey share room them no say at the end na poland their savings account dey grin

I mean there's only so much of traffic, scorching heat, undrinkable water, so much noise, mosquito bites, fake lives, apparent display of arrogance and ignorance, bribery, the spin and corruption etc that one can take before you begin to get fed up.

obsession>> "soooooooooo much money" <<

And who said u wudn't be stressed in Nigeria. infact u wont just be stressed and u wont even be low paid.
look before u leap lady
Abi o, everyone keeps going on about how "you have to work hard to make money in the U.K" , erm isnt that what you are supposed to do? WORK HARD!

going to nigeria can be considered to be an easier option, the competition for job is high in the U.K and even in Nigeria but the fact that you are going with an "international degree" you will get a job quicker, you'll stay with mommy and daddy so you dont pay rent/tax hence you have more money to splash around and oppress tongue

stay and slug it out on a level playing field grin

We just need more lethal strikers, Obafemi was actually courted by Spurs, now he's made a big error by going to playless Newcastle, he would have done good at White Hart Lane.

EducationRe: Why I Want To Study In China by LoverBwoy(m): 3:06pm On Nov 15, 2006
By the way these UK schools are overrated. I did my degree in the UK, so I know better. I don’t want to study in a university just because they are prestigious. I will have to put into consideration if studying in the University will benefit my career.
By who?

No wonder the number of internation students have gone up
I wonder why the the number of chinese students in london alone rose by 21% over 5years

@all,
this job issue is serious, non - british residents are not getting good jobs anymore. And its worse if ure nigerian.
I recently attended a Lloyds TSB (Banking and Insurance firm) interview, i passed all the stages but when they saw my passport, i could see dissapointment on the face of the interviewers. My friend's 17 yr old girlfriend later got same job because she's british. I almost cried ,Imagine losing £18,000 p.a job just because im Nigerian.
p
Thats not the first time its happened at the last stage, i am 100% sure i wouldn't have suffered the same spate if i was in Nigeria
