they lack good hotels because they not profitable, they are mostly away from the the MAIN cities

A good location would be cities where people often go for conference, workshops, tourism and those kind of events
if you want to avoid the obvious cities like lagos abuja and ph, you might consider upcoming states where there are major developments in the pipelines, generally peaceful and even one that has an airport or a big coach staion

Let me ask you an honest question, have you ever been a victim of a racist? My guess is a No!! If you have ever been in one outside your home country, you will understand my point the more. i haven't been a victim of racism as you guessed-not to my face anyway, but i have been a victim of tribalism! its not an issue of condenming Nigeria but stating the obvious reasons why people prefer abroad, Nigeria is not for everyone and "abroad" is also not for everyone. the only way people can perhap contribute their own quota is obviously when they experience other culture and way of life don't you think, have another perspective  to life apart from the "national cake" syndrome
