The issue here is really one of deadlines, as everyone might have something that suddenly comes up that will demand financial commitments, and giving something very small defeats the purpose innit

What i would suggest is that Sir Kay or who ever the House appoints, keeps their account open for donations, as we can still send whatever to the guy, (i believe that Sir kay has made contact with the boys mum) and whenever it gets to something like 20 k again, he gives them. I am very much aware that this cannot go on for ever, but i just feel most folks need time to drop something good. The thread can be bumped up regularlly to remind members that want to send something, to do so, then a final deadline can be made. and if anyone can't make it, then so be it (Like someone said, we could find a way to make this into something, that goes beyond footie, Maybe to an annual donation to a charity or something of that nature, i don't know sha!! )

Anyway. Big ups to Sir Kay Kitaun and everyone else that contributed in cash and in kind We all appreciate your efforts and promise to fulfill our own share soonest (Thats a Promise from me sha!!)

Case in point It seems to me, and i have been feeling this for a long time, that most (70 percent) Chelsea supporters are not Chelsea supporters but are Jose supporters. either that or they mix the 2 up.

Arsenal were a successful club way before Arsene Wenger was born, so what is this rubbish about Chelsea winning trophies. Guys go and have a look at your cabinet and count how many trophies you have. Granted Jose has brought about the most successful period in chelsea's LONG history, But dare i mention; Bertie Mee, Herbert Chapman, George Graham and Arsene Wenger. 4 different guys, 4 different sucessful Arsenal eras.

You all might feel cool about him, shame your owner (and the only fan that matters) doesn't feel the same way. All i keep hearing is "Jose has won the Champions League!!" But CLOWNS he won it with Porto, not CHELSEA . And thats the point, Roman is not impressed as you blues fans about all these domestic titles you keep holding up. He didn't employ Jose to win 10 Prem Titles, he employed Jose to win 10 CL with CHELSEA.

People talk about the folly of arsene's youth policy, but if truth be told, Roman must have been wondering when he saw JT, "Hey that guy is not fit and almost died, are you telling me we have no Centreback replacement in our whole squad, that we have to draft an unfit Terry because we want to win the CARLING CUP ". I also asked some Chelsea fans this question, "When does Cudicini get to see a game "

Like someone said, it was a win/win situation for Arsene, unlike you all, he knows Jose might not be able to stomach the Russian's interference for much longer and might jump ship (or get booted out) soon enough. Then we will see what happens to all these so called Chelsea fans .

A true fan is known not when things are going on well at their club, as success has so many friends. Lets see where you all are if Chelsea do not win the trophies and are going through a down period. then we will seperate the Shaft from the Wheat.

Now do not get me wrong, CHELSEA DESERVED TO WIN ON SUNDAY Of that there is no arguement, and all this Kolo/Mikel stuff is just stupid (why do we like stupid arguements like this on Nairaland ) But like i said on the Guuners thread, lets see how Chelsea is in 10 years, (with or without Jose, more a case of without) Lets see what the chelsea brand will look like, lets see how chelsea will look like without JT, Cech, Drogs, Lamps and co (you had brilliant players before, but apart from the spare FA Cup, you guys didn't win that much did you).

So Chelskites , enjoy your wins, its your time and you better savour it, so that you all will have something to look back at when you win nothing, or when Jose leaves, (will you all leave with him i wonder ) Even with the 5 trophies Jose has won, Chelsea are not a bigger club than Arsenal (and please ask any true Chelsea fan about that assertion) Not Bigger in the UK and not bigger in the world (whether that will be the case in 10 years i don't know , but as at now, you are not a bigger club, and i am not talking about Money )

You all should really look at stuff behind the scenes and stop being kiddies. Did you see Jose's 5 sign, that was meant for Roman. To show you that despite what is being touted, Roman is still not satisfied, and he will have a fit if Chelsea do not win the League or the UEFA CL this season; mark today the 26th Feb 2007. If Chelsea do not win the league or the CL. JOSE WILL BE ON HIS WAY!!

On to the game. Chelsea deserve to be Carling Cup winners, in the end Experience over came youth. Like yesterday as i told some chelski fans; "I will clap for you, cause its your day, so that when it is ours (and anyone that still feels that this Arsenal team will not come good in the future doesn't really know football) you will raise your hands up and clap for us."

Things happen in circles, Now Man United are begining to find their groove (still have a feeling that they will still be pipped to the Title, however if they beat the Pool at Anfield, then i will say, the title race is over ) and it took them 4 years to get back the groove. So i have no problem with my team, as long as Wenger is the Manager, we will rise up afterall Barca took a while to outpace Real, liverpool had everyone fighting for second place for a decade. So lets see how the FA Cup and UEFA CL and Prem will go.

For your info, it takes more than Trophy hauls for a coach to be considered good. How long has Jose been in the game, so because he has won Back to Back titles you will now say he is better than folks like Sir Bobby Robson, Better than Kenny Daglish, Better than Van Gaal, Better than Johan Cruff.

This arguement is trully a waste of time and space, and can be had 1 year after both managers have retired, when we can look at their records in full. Cause i don't see any sign that they will be leaving management anytime soon.

Hmmm as much as i am about Barca, i feel with Eto coming back, it will be a different team you will see at Anfield, and if barca scores first then the Pool will be in trouble. Also remember their best player Sissoko might not be available for that game, and Anfield ain't that scary anymore as it used to be for oppositions teams.

Key thing is Barca have nothing to lose, so will go for broke, Pool could adopt counter attacks, but the first 20 minutes will determine how that match will go. With Eto back in the team (with a point to prove) Barca still has enough class to score goals. Wanna bet that Reina or another Pool player will majestically pick up a red card Barca always know how to utilise (lets just call it) the (Un)[/b]fair side of footie to their advantage.
