midolian: weda or not they wipe out insurgency within a month, one should know they are behind it. Can't you see how relaxed and lackadaisical they ve bn in tackling the issue? They(the govt) claim the insurgents are very strong yet they(Boko haram) can't shift base from the north. They claim the BH boys are anti-govt yet they ve not gone beyond bombing the strongholds of their opposition..can't you see that the BH boys have bn succesful in all their operations until now? And whenever these boys want to operate, the soldiers will be asked to withdraw from their duty post until the operations are well carried out..and after which there will be no interrogation..
Let's just pray God intervenes Amen. Well analysed.

Firefire: No vex, we need a pictorial evidence and not hearsay.
According to Abati Some of his target, he said, are “sponsored and self-appointed anarchists” whose majority are “unintelligent people repeating stupid clichés and too many intelligent persons wasting their talents lending relevance to thoughtless conclusions.”
He added, “The President himself does not allow alcohol to be served at his table. But when you go to social media, they tell you something else. Lies. Lies. Lies.”
May God deliver Nigeria from the heavy lies of the opposition.
Peace! Let me share another wisdom with you. Why can't GEJ father a child? Do you know that heavy drinking destroys spermatozoa? Go and digest that. |

The overhauling in the military is an on-going process and it will be TOTAL. My brother, well done for being objective.

Hanibal: He got to the northeast in January, and he deserted in February because of one battle gone bad? What of those that have been fighting since day one?
As a good soldier if you are loosing a battle, you retreat to minimise casualty and re group to fight another battle in hope of victory.... deserting doesn't cross the mind of a dedicated soldier talk less of deserting after just one bad battle!
That guy's testimony is bullshit ... and he is nothing but a coward: if the testimony isn't the imagination of some mischievous writer somewhere Be typing grammar there. It is obvious that you're not involved. The real people affected are giving their gory testimonies.SirAweezy: Thanks bro... Once he surfaces he is leaving the army... Do you see the way boko haram took over 324 battalion in mongunu(if yo are a soldier anyway). All soldiers deserted their command...including senior officers... I'm still looking for my brother till date army has no info abt is where-about. The last time he was shot by the BH. The family treated him with their own many.. By the time he reported to back to base.. Some1 had been collecting is bonus fee(the one giving to multinational joint task force) and signing for collection.

This is another ploy to postpone elections from March 28. Mark my words.
Boko Haram was allowed to fester for 5 years and nothing happened. Just because it is election time, they step up efforts against Boko Haram.
After postponing elections from February, they now claim that real anti insurgency operations will start in March.
Nigerians should not be deceived. If GEJ cannot conduct elections he should resign and let Sambo take over. Sambo maybe more sensible to conduct elections. |

richardomoko: The English is too refined for a Nigerian Army Sargent. I would want to take this with a pinch of salt, however every profession has its risks and up and downs. Matter of factly, if you sign into the Army you don't own your life anymore as the slang says obey the last order or obey before complain. I don't see why he should desert the army at such a time knowing fully well as he has also confirmed that things are improving. The rut in the army is not caused by politicians but by the army officers. Finally don't come and tell Nigerians such untrue comments when you make referrals that the army under Abacha was better than now. We were aware then that Arisikola who was the army contractor at the time supplied rotten food to our soldiers in Ecomog which they complained and refused to eat. Amongst other complains then our soldiers refused to desert knowing fully well the implications why then is he deserting? Is it because we have democracy in place? Refined English?
Do you expect the Newspaper house (Vanguard in this case) to publish all grammatical errors that the soldier would have made during the interview? What is the job of the journalists then?
Would you have continued to serve in an army where the wounded are left to die without treatment and their allowances diverted?
May your life be run the way GEJ and his goons have run Nigeria Military in the last 5 years. Say amen if you really believe what you wrote above. |

DickDastardly: I blame the North for all this. First of all, the past rulers from the North starved their people of education and other basic needs. They also starved the Nigeria Army of all fighting hardware. Many years of northern misrule created bokoharam. Buhari and his fellow past illiterate northern millitary leaders destroyed nigeria. And now their hungry and angry boko brothers wont let us be. Thank God for GEJ's Almajiri schools. Bokoharam will have fewer recruits in the nearest future.

People read this:
"Airborne leaflet propaganda is a form of psychological warfare in which leaflets (flyers) are scattered in the air. Military forces have used aircraft to drop leaflets to attempt to alter the behavior of combatants and non-combatants in enemy-controlled territory, sometimes in conjunction with air strikes. Humanitarian air missions, in cooperation with leaflet propaganda, can turn the populace against their leadership while preparing them for the arrival of enemy combatants.
Leaflet delivery can be as simple as having one or more of the aircraft's crew throw bundles of leaflets out of an open hatchway. A more sophisticated method is the leaflet bomb. This is not an explosive device, but rather a bomb–shaped container that is dropped from the aircraft and opened in mid-air, dispersing the leaflets it holds. One such "bomb" may contain tens of thousands of leaflets."

The capability of our Aviation Sector comes to question. The suspicion is francophone (Chadian and/or Nigerien) support. The Hausa leaflets have French Hausa spellings.
