Pataki:Again, my hint is subtle: Your word against a Nigeria Police man's word at a Nigeria Police Station. You can never win. Just let it go. We have conclusively proven until shown otherwise with verifiable evidence that GMB earns N2.3M per month as pension. OP Take note. |
FFK. Literally a prostitute.
|
Pataki:Heed to my subtle admonition. You can never win. |
This is a very simple matter. Dino Melaye is not a motor park tout. His name carries some weight. Until I see a credible source debunk this N2.3M per month salary for GMB, Dino who claims to have verified his claims from the Ministry of finance, and quoted by various dailies is right. Your word against Dino? I'd rather Dino. Pataki don't argue too much. Let each man chose what he wants to believe. |
Aha . The only Igbo President is the most clueless of all. How about that? I rest my case. GMB 2015. Anticorruption is in our DNA.
|
jdilight:You are correct and even currency devaluation. Stable power is a big issue in Nigeria. Imagine what would have come out of Aba, PH, Kano and Lagos in terms of manufacturing if we had at least sustained 18 hrs of cheap power per day. Small businesses will thrive as well. That is providing a basis for export to surrounding countries. Adequate refining capacity will free up the hard earned foreign exchange we use to import fuel and pay subsidy to cabal. That's savings to plough into other sectors of te economy. The locally refined fuel, we can export as well to neighbouring WA countries. Agriculture provides very mwaningful employmwnt and some Forex from export as well. Let's not overflog the issue. GEJ had 5 years and none of this issue was meaningfully addressed. That's why he won't get my vote in FeBuhari and I'm campaigning for GMB. Even if you don' fancy GMB, know that he is a better option than GEJ in 2015. |
rudedough: Even 4Play wouldn't say that. I see you are a praise singer. Another court jester... ![]() |
SUBMARINE:There is not much wrong with your proposal. It is not a new idea. There are agencies set up to do this already like NDE, NEXIM, Nigerian Agric Bank, MSME banks, SURE-P.... Community Banks etc The institutions listed above are just not efficient that is why you don't feel their impact. Another evidence of GEJ's failings since Feb. 2010. My point is if done on a very large scale at once, we would grapple with run away inflation because of too much money in the economy. I do not see a problem with GMB's sugestion of N5K per month if it is planned to be a palliative for say 3 years to discourage societal ills among youths etc until the economy is cleaned up and booming again. |
Redoil:Let us not derail the thread but I can easily point out the weaknesses from GEJ's campaign in Lagos. 1. He harped on CHANGE instead of CONTINUITY. Change is APC's slogan. He was supposed to focus on what he has achieved and how we will continue to inprove. In attacking APC's message he could not tell Lagosians what he has done for them since Feb. 2010. He sounded like an opposition candidate attacking the incumbent GMB. 2. He made many technical blunders like a. claiming to have queued for milk for 2 days in 1983. GMB became head of state on Dec 31, 1983. The last day of 1983. Is Shagari not to blame for his queue? b. Alleging that MEND tried to assassinate him. This a man who absolved MEN of any wrong doing and even attempted to rope his then political foe IBB through Dokpesi. 4 years later GEJ accuses mend of planning assassination because they endorsed GMB and APC. Henry Okah jailed in SA was never charged for planning presidential assassination. c. He claimed that GMB never bought a rifle for the Army. This one is hilarious. GMB bought more important armaments than rifles. That has been debunked on NL. If not being clueless, a man who never bought rifle defeated Maitatsine in less han 1 year while GEJ is still grappling with Boko Haram after 5 years and plenty rifles. He shot himself in the foot there. 3. After Lagos, he headed to Enugu instead of completing his SW campaign tour. That is so inefficient from a political strategy and energy saving standpoint. This is not the topic of this thread but I just wanted you to know that GEJ messed up in Lagos. |
My problem with some posters on NL is that they won't provide evidence or links when countering another post. Let us be more prudent in our posting habits. Don't mislead people. I start with myself. I'm quoting from here: http://sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=98264 ...Recently, Dino Melaye, a former member of the House or Representatives, was so disturbed to hear that General Buhari could not afford 27 million naira APC nomination form, knowing well that all former Presidents and Heads of State get 23 million monthly since the period of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He decided to investigate the matter and later discovered that General Buhari personally wrote a letter to the minister of finance to pay him 10 percent of 23 million naira former Presidents and Heads of State do take as salary. So, he realized that General Buhari’s monthly payment is 2.3 million naira instead of 23 million naira. What a Nigerian!... Over to you |
Sunnybobo3:Your RAM must be small. Read this again. LRNZH:By the way, you refused to ponder this question: enigmaotr:I don't know about you but I no longer think there is any more value to this thread. You can go ahead and chat with your friends but the OP doesn't prove much. You created this thread for political reasons. That is why you failed to check current unemployment numbers or understand the context of unemployment under GMB's gov't before posting. I hope you learnt something new today. I'm sure even jmaine whom I recognise as quite sensible was alarmed by the numbers he has seen. |
atlwireles:People like you should be court jesters.....like Labaran Maku for example. You can't contribute valuably to serious matters. |
At the post above, Even without wasting 1% of my brain cells, if I were GMB's advisor, taking out Tompolo and the rot in NNPC will save us about $15Billion per annum. Building an adequate local refining capacity will save us another $5+ Billion. If stable power is transformed within 2-3 years (15,000 MW for a start, which is very possible), that's more productivity and more earning in taxes for the gov't. To stay conservative, $15Billion (27 Trillion Naira) per annum is enough to run such a welfare program until youth unemployment rate is drastically brought down from its current level of 80% (CBN figure) to say 30%. After that, they can stop such a welfare. N5,000 monthly is not enough incentive not to look for a job. I think you underestimate the level of Nigeria's riches and the scale of corruption going on in Nigeria under GEJ. |
jjshanana:Ask GEJ. Dino Melaye confirmed from the Ministry of Finance that GMB asked that only 10% of what Ex Presidents earn that is N2.3M out of N23M be paid to him. That's why he had to borrow 27M which is his annual total renumeration. GMB doesn't brag. That is why this information is new to many people. |
Wow! GMB 2015. Integrity on a Platter. |
Oga Seun I see you. I dey hail o. |
PDP them, From Lagos Jonah go Enugu straight. If na your money you dey take campaign, no be SW you go finish after Lagos before Enugu? You go gree fly come Enugu come fly go back SW again? No be fuel money dey waste be dat? Talk true o. Na so GEJ dey waste Nigeria money. E no dey think how to save am at all at all. GMB 2015. Competence is our Watchword.
|
jamace:Before you digress from the point at hand, answer my question first. After that we can discuss your new points. Okay? |
Sunnybobo3:You no sabi read? CBN talk say 8 out of every 10 young person for Nigeria no get work inside 2014. Read the article again |
Double Post... |
Sunnybobo3:I have two in my house. One with a Masters Degree and another with a BA. Just leave the matter . Like I showed you, CBN has closed this issue by stating that there is 80% youth unemployment in Nigeria. |
MayorofLagos:Read though the thread and save your effort. Myth busted already. |
Enyi (Friend) of Aba. GMB 2014. Integrity on a Platter.
|
Lagos then Enugu. ![]() GEJ and PDP do not even understand efficiency. Why not stick to the SW since you have started in Lagos already? If na business person dey travel without plan like this ehn, e go pack up. I'm getting carried away. GEJ will never get the concept of carbon footprint. Burning jet fuel travelling in a zig-zag fashion haphazardly. GEJ is competing with Shagari for the Best Nigerian President in their own category. Don't ask me what this category is. ![]() GMB 2015. Competence is our Watchword.
|
Adminisher:I don't want to even bring up the sense of entitlement that has destroyed the psyche of the average Niger Deltan. I get your point. In any argument that involves performance, GEJ will fail immediately it is scrutinised under sound judgment. GEJ and Shagari would be my candidates for the dumbest President Nigeria ever had. I can't tell who is dumber. My point was GEJ made a freudian slip by saying 1983. He was right but it was under Shagari. Everyone that's worth his salt knows this. So why even argue GEJ's point? |
Why do PDP suppprters run from arguments without acknowledging if they agree with my points or not? |
But the question I ask is.... why are we blaming GMB for GEJ's suffering in 1983? The coup that brought GMB to power was in Dec. 31, 1983. So GMB effectively started Jan 1, 1983 until Aug. 27, 1985. So 1993 was all under Shagari except for the day of the govt changeover- the last day of the year. I am looking for answers. |
Where's everyone? Forgive me OP and previous commenters. I didn't mean to kill your fun. All of a sudden the thread is deserted once I show up. ![]() |
ademega:I mean clean up the post so that paragraphs will be clear, with proper punctuations. And you can make the title scream a bit. ![]() |

omenka:Omenka you're very right. Even I felt GMB was going to get slandered again as usual hence I decided on a personal mission to counter lies by vested interests. Reason why I'm online countering lies and ingnorance.. But am I wrong to ask the question below? LRNZH: |
