I had the same issue on my Toyota with the car overheating once the AC goes on. It used to take about 10 minutes to overheat.

I can't say I totally solved the problem, but nowadays it rarely overheats with the AC on. I still get that one or two occurrences when the temp spikes a bit with the AC though, but it's very rare now.

I think your radiator might be clogged. Cleaning it won't really do much, as opposed to buying a brand new one, not a second hand please. You can by an aftermarket one if you can't afford the oem one. As long as all the ports are correct and its brand new, no blockage and no internal corrosion.

Next you may want to check you AC gas pressure to make sure your condenser isn't getting waaaay too hot. Ideally the car should have high and low pressure refrigerant sensors, but some of these mechanics may have tampered with them and your AC may be either overfilled or underfilled.

Can you leave your hand on your AC condenser without getting burned

supported.... apart from ur radiator, how "sound" is ur engine. A/c is another load on the engine... did u work the a/c on it or it's factory fitted? However, Ur radiator may be small or clogged. Just as advised above.... go for better one....

there was a similar scenario... In Niger State but NO injury recorded; at the checking point, we were all queued waiti for the Policeman as ordered by them at the checking point..... a driver did same with hurry, he left his vehicle on drive while going to open d boot for the security agent to check... although he was initially freed b4 another commanded him to open his boot... with this annoyance, he rushed out of the vehicle having engaged his gear to move........
Inshort.... it was a drama... His car being the front one..there was no hindrance... it zoomed off..started accelerating on a sloppy road... Men! see security agents and some of us.. pursuing d car....those other security at the front cleared... One of us was able to jump in and halt d brake...
