LadyJasper:
Hi guys, any suggestions on universities or colleges that provide any of the following if not all:
1. Low tuition.
2. Scholarships/aids
3. English proficiency waiver.
Also would provide the international student with work permit after the undergraduate studies. Many thanks in anticipation.
Google DLI Canada. It’s a webpage that gives you a list of institutions that you can attend that will qualify you to apply for a work permit after graduation. You can search province by province or if you already know which province you want to live in you go directly to that province. The stakes are too high (time, money and resources that you are going to spend on this venture) for you to rely on random strangers to give you the information. It’s better you do the search yourself and avoid stories that touch.

Greetings to you boss @Frankrobbn1
My question to the enlightenment of many of us is
If I am done with a 1yr Program, then applied and got a 1yr PGWP, but during or before the end of the 1yr PGWP I got admitted into another 1yr program, 1. Will such a person still be eligible to apply for a another PGWP?
2. If yes, how many years PGWP will he or she gets?

Please experience minds should also contribute with answers.
Thanks
You can only apply for TRV once. But if you finish a 1 year program and immediately continue to another 1 or 2 years program with no break in between you can then get 3 yr PGWP

I still feel its like shooting urself in the leg if u had been denied US visa and not canadian visa in the past. canadia visa denial should be given in details. bur US or other countries, why?
The Canadian and u.s embassies and even other first world embassies exchange info. If you withhold information about your visa denials they will find out anyway in your background check. It may lead to a ban

Please I need some opinions on my plan. My first degree is in law. But for the past 3 years I have been running a nursery school, and to be frank I have no interest in going back to law as a profession. I really want to apply for a diploma in early childhood education. But I am worried because:
1. It is not a post graduate diploma but an advanced diploma I.e no progression.
2. Some parts of the diploma can be done as stand alone courses online to get a Certificate in early childhood education. I fear the VO May wonder why I want to incur the additional expense of moving to Canada when I can access the certificate online.
My plan:
1. Apply for a master’s in Education. When I get to Canada, change to the diploma in the same institution.
The reason why I would rather do the diploma than a masters is that the diploma is actually more relevant to the field of early childhood education which I am passionate about. And the diploma has a practicum (teaching practice) element which I feel is more relevant to my school business than the masters which is all theoretical.

Please I need some opinions on this. Sorry for the long post. Qudkom. Naijaforeigner. Bracha. Sillysassysally please what do you guys think.

If your mum has passed then you can mention her as your mum in your application.
Then get your TRV first when you get there you apply for parents super Visa for her.
That is what I would do
But open to more and better opinion
My mum is still alive. But she is not very strong. And I have her already in my previous Visa applications as my mum i.e applications to the US and UK.

Good day people. Please how possible is it to add a non-family member in your application? I have an 8 month old baby and would love to travel with a Nanny. My step mum (my Dad’s wife) would have been my best bet. But they were not legally married so there’s no marriage certificate. Has anyone ever succeeded in applying for a Nanny while submitting their TRV? Abeg make una no laugh me o. Childcare cost in obodo oyibo no be here!

Good day. Please is there any graduate of OAU who has received a copy of his/her transcript? I want to know if it includes information on date of birth. Thank you.

I'm afraid the only possibility I see is for your husband to go ahead of you and later request for you to come. This age disparity is taken seriously and the documents where the ages are stated are too important to miss. You must avoid anything that has to do with your transcript to avoid a ban!
Okattamgbee:
Since you already have affidavit of fact for your official age, i will advise you take an affidavit for your real age (that is the one on your passport), stating that is was wrongly written.

Other opinions are welcomed
Ponomote:
Ask someone from your school if theirs had their real age. I was scared of this age issue till I got the student copy of my transcript. My age or date of birth wasn't stated on it so I was able to apply with it without any fear.
Thanks my people. I appreciate your responses. I will also see if I can persuade the Student Affairs at my school to use my real age if it happens that transcripts bear the age.

Good day folks. Please I need some advice.
I gained admission into uni at the age of 15, and my Dad made an affidavit declaring my age to be 17 because he felt they wouldn’t accept me at that age. Unfortunately I was not aware of the gravity of this affidavit. In fact I completely forgot about it and I have been using my real age since I graduated.

Now I am in the process of applying for a master’s program. My passport which has a lot of travel history and which I have used to travel to the Uk and US bears my real age. My transcript from my university will bear my “official age” . What do I do. I have not yet applied for my transcript

I will ask you one question :
is it wrong for the Nigerian government to give interest-free loans of up to 50k for people who wish to start small business?
No. It is not. But it is also not wrong to give interest free loans of 10k to petty traders who are already in business and need a small cash infusion. Do not despise the days of small beginnings.

I reiterate 10k can do jack for those that really need it. Na here we dey when some ppl dey share billions among themselves.... Good night
Zehavi:
10k cannot do jack in today's society !
.
My people 10k can do a lot. I was at a cold room some weeks back to buy some fish in bulk. There was a crowd of women there all buying fish to resell in the market. A carton of scumbia fish is 16k. I was buying half carton which is 8k. None of the women there was buying up to half a carton. Most of them were buying 1/4 I.e four of them will share a carton to sell. As a result many of them were hanging around looking for who to share with. If any of them have access to this money, instead if spending hours in a cold room looking for who will share a carton of fish with them shebi they will just buy what they want and go about their business. This is just one example. Same with women selling tomatoes, pepper onions etc. such infusion of cash will make a difference to them. It’s not meant for people like you.
HealthRe: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Luckymama: 12:52am On Aug 16, 2018
Please dear mothers I need advice. I just had my baby 3 weeks ago via cs. It is my 2nd pregnancy. When I had my first (also CS) some years back, my mother in law came for Omugwo. It was the worst two months of my life. She didn’t help with anything having to do with the baby except bathing. Once she bathe the baby that’s the end. No help with cooking, na me go dey ask her what she wants to eat and she will be selecting food. I had to start going to market at two weeks and cooking.

When I took in this time I made up my mind that she won’t come for Omugwo at least until I am strong enough to entertain her. Fortunately my family members are available and I arranged for my sister and aunty to come.

Without informing us she was coming my MIL left Lagos and came to the village. Our village is 1 hr away. I know that the next thing is to land in our house. The honest truth is that with my sister and aunty around there is no space. But I cannot tell her not to come to her son’s house. Do I send my family away? They also live in Lagos and once they go they can’t come back. And they are really helpful to me at least until I am stronger. What do I do?
