Francejaik: I'm gathering all the neccessary documents.
Snapped my passport.
Still constructing my LOE.
The problem I have now is that the Application form refused to download in my Adobe reader.
I have even upgraded it to ADOBE 11, yet no show.
Please, is there any other ADOBE I can use to access the form?
I need your help!!! I had to use Adobe acrobat. I used the trial version but I also think there are a few free alternatives if you google it |

I'm an undergraduate though.
Thanks for the help. Hi. Sorry I cannot access your PM because I have lost access to the email address used for my profile. But if you require any assistance and you can post it here I will be glad to help |

sammysticks: Good Day Everyone This is such a wonderful and informative thread Great work
I NEED HELP
Studying in Canada has been my dream and now it seems the dream is about to materialize,Glory to God. But right now I’m stuck,I’ve never applied for admission to any school,I’ve never applied for a study permit.I don’t know where to begin from. I’ll be really glad if I someone can help through the process from scratch,I’m a fast learner,I believe I won’t be a pain In the neck for my HELPER lol.God bless and thanks in anticipation. Like they always say on this thread read from the beginning by the time you get to this page a lot of things will be clear. Everything I have ever learnt about applying the process - from getting a supervisor to applying for admission was on this thread. Just start reading it small small And if you think this 600 page thread is too long - like the last poster who gave testimony said maybe another country is better for Masters. Canadian studies is hectic. I am doing one small (I thought) online certificate course. Those people have already killed me with reading. They don’t see anything in giving you two or three 200 page document to read and write paper on every week. I keep wondering how the masters will be. God dey sha |

Chidon40: Guys, why filling your application, How do you answer the question on if you have been denied visa before by Canada or any country(I was denied by US)?
Those that had similar experience should help out I have been denied by the UK and the US. Anytime I am filling any visa application I always dig out my old passport and list all the various denials. Please always list out your denials with the date. If you have the reason for denial add it. These people always cross check |

FARA4GA: You my dear idiot is the one being blinded. Read the topic of this post, it states Buhari/FG. And your bringing political and tribal differences to the topic further shows how imbecilic you are.
Atiku's son, Davido and Chioma.... Is it not the same FG that should have put them in quarantine or adviced them to self isolate in the first place?
Read and try to comprehend what I wrote.... If you can't, then give it to your parents to translate it to a language you could understand better. You wailers are all the same. Uncultured hate filled barbarians. It must be so sad to be filled with so much hate. Shakes head. |

Excuzeme: I have made my points in previous post, l am surprised you did not see all those (probably due to conjuctivitis ) and that your quote was a reply to his continous insults. If something there hurts your emotions, too bad, if you want to join, you are welcome otherwise, buzz-off my mention. That guy has not said one word of insult to you. You on the other hand have been full of insults centered on the fact that you assume he is a Northerner. You are an uncultured bully. Shame on you. |

Excuzeme: No, l cant read. I do not need to discredit the article because "if you argue with a fool, people wont know the difference and he or she will steal overun you with experience". The only reason you are here jumping up and down to defend the rubbish he wrote is just because the President is Buhari, a fellow Northerner and Muslim. Aside that, l know you have nothing else upstairs, but weldone all the same, Cowdung. And you believe you have shown that you have something upstairs? Resorting to ad hominems just shows that you have nothing to counter. Hate is corrosive. It destroys the person harboring it. |

FARA4GA: First of all, why did they wait for Buhari's daughter to arrive from UK before closing borders?
Two, why was it that Abba Kyari wasn't put in Isolation as he arrived from his? Learn to be objective in your criticism. Na only Buhari daughter return from UK? What about Atiku’s son and Davido and his baby mama? Why were they not put into quarantine? Why was Seyi Makinde so stupid as to call Corona an APC disease? Is he also a dullard? Stop being blinded by partisan politics and tribal hatred and realize that there are only two parties: the ruling class and the common man. They are all members of the same club and stick together when push comes to shove. |

Chuukwudi: Please, someone should give me a reply please...
What should I do?
Can I get admission for post graduate diploma in Canada and get visa?
Please, help me guys. Why not apply to a number of different schools? They all have different requirements. If there is a school that accepts a minimum of 3 as GPA and yours is 3.14 why limit yourself? Apply for the masters it only costs you the application fee. For the school that require 2.1 apply for a PGD. I was in that situation myself. My GPA was a very strong 2.1, but the course I want to read as masters is not in anyway related to my first degree. So I was afraid they won’t give me admission. I applied to several schools, those that have less stringent qualifications I applied for masters. Those with rigid qualifications I applied for PGd. Eventually I got a masters admission in my desired course. I know some have received a visa with even post graduate certificate admission, so you can get with a post graduate diploma. but I feel a masters is even better. |

I have a thriving business I run and which I am going to submit the financials for. I am also not applying with any other member of my family. Leaving behind my family and business should count as sufficient home tie. I don’t know how it will look making a direct reference to it in the SOP. |

Adetunji001: Goodday everyone.
I am confused here as to the best method to use for my sop.
I am about writing my Sop right now, but i would like to know which is better between using subtopics to explain, in details, my points or just paragraphs.
Please which one would be ideal for an excellent Sop? As for me I am using sub topics. I find it helps to keep the material well arranged. So far I have the following: 1. Background/Introduction. 2. Why a masters from Canada? 3. Study plan. (Not sure what information should be a part of this paragraph. Then a conclusion |

Kellymaria: Hello everyone, I have a question bothering my mind.
I have been giving an admission into one university already and I have accepted the admission.
Now I realized that the school fees is huge and I have applied to another school. I'm worried, will the new school know that I have already been giving an admission into one Sch and that I have already applied.
Please help clarify No. They don’t have access to such information. And even if they do, there’s nothing wrong with applying to multiple schools. Feel free to apply to as many schools as you wish till you find the one that is best for you. |

Phatkayconcept: After completing the msc program, can't someone apply for job outside Ontario, say Manitoba or Alberta. And maybe after getting the job someone can file for pnp in that region.
In other way, after completing the msc program in Ontario, can't someone file for pnp in other region. Yes of course. But again it depends on the PNP requirement for each province. Some insist that you must have ‘links’ in the province before applying. Like Manitoba I think before PNP you must have shown links there e.g you schooled there or have lived there before. It’s just a matter of doing the research thoroughly sha before making a decision |

Kinzeerichy: Thank you very much for the view. Is PNP the only route to getting PGWP/PR after completion of masters? Please help clarify. Abeg make a put an for broken in case of external eyes. Na bicos point no reach for EE na Im push most pipu enter school runs. After d school, if you get work that will add to d points. Den some area dey give provincial nomination once persin don get work for their province. That wan na almost automatic PR bicos Provincial nomination na 600 points. Now at the present, Ontario no dey give Provincial nomination for skilled workers and post graduate. So even if you finish d school get work, that extra 600 points no dey. Meaning after your one year program, you get 1 year work permit, then you pack ya bag dey go house. Except your points are already strong enough without the extra 600 from provincial nomination. Compare that with B.C - once persin give you job offer, you can get their provincial nomination and PR don set be dat. |

Kinzeerichy: Good Morning. Thanks for helping out the last time. I just got another admission for LLM at the University of Western Ontario with $20.000 funding out of $30,000 tuition for the 1 year.
Compared to my first LLM admission at University of Victoria, BC with $2,000 out of $7,500 (with a hint from a friend in Uvic that I’d be given $5,000 upon resumption), and assuming Usask and Calgary aren’t coming (although I’m positive), which is better between Uvic and UWestern for TRV and living expenses purposes.
Thank you. By the way please do you have any contact for law school transcript? The thing is really something else. |

Thank you. I don’t know whether I am accurate or not o, but I would want to check the Ontario PNP status. The last time I checked, Ontario was not issuing nominations for Skilled workers or PGWP holders. If that is the case then Ontario is not really the best right now. For me I would jump on an admission from UVic. BC PNP is one of the easiest right now. The whether is one of the best. However Victoria is also a very expensive city with one of the highest costs of living in Canada. So it’s a matter of weighing the factors. Pros for Ontario: more jobs. Cons: chances of provincial nomination after graduation low Pros for Victoria: great weather (really mild winters). Provincial nomination more likely Cons: very expensive. Fewer jobs |

mikeerrr: Leave the country & settle down first, before sending anyone your SOP format because most Nigerians like to copy & paste.
Someone here in my uni is facing the disciplinary committee for copying another person’s dissertation. He’s plagiarism is 87% & I’m not joking. His reason is that he working plenty shifts to pay tuition & didn’t have time to research.
When they ban part time work now people will start lamenting but they still come here & misuse it.
Learn how to research guys & think strategically.
If you cannot draft SOP now, how you wanna write your assignments when you get there? So true my brother. Not all programs will entitle you to stay back and get a job in Canada when you are done (PGWP - post graduate work permit). So whatever school you are applying to make sure to cross check that it is DLI (a school qualified to accept international students) and most importantly that the program you are applying for there will qualify you for a Work permit afterwards. |
