In as much as his action is highly commendable,I'll like to add that he didn't really have much of a choice.
He works in an organized country and in a company that has the database and information of all their workers so it would've been near impossible to get away with that.

How can you say a man's work is an important point of reference and at the same time condemn his work? I don't understand this logic.

Please note that Ibn Ishaq is a better Muslim than you. He is a second generation historian of Islamic theology and his works are older than the famous bukhari's hadith. And no known Islamic scholar had written any scholarly work condemning his work. We non-muslims are interested in anything/action that disqualifies Mohammed as a decent man let alone a prophet and sahih Bukhari, al-tabari, sahih Muslim and ibn ishaq have enough proof that showed Mohammed as a fake prophet.

1)Israaf

You want people to eat Amala,iyan,fufu, porridge,kebsha, Chinese rice,hmmm!!Sha don't do israaf(wastage)

وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَلَا تُسْرِفُوا إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ

eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allah) likes not Al-Musrifun (those who waste by extravagance).

2)Wedding pictures

Surah Al-Ahzab, Verse 33:

5)Inviting only the rich

This will make your nikkah food to be the worst ever,bcs the needy people (poor) are prevented from it

ﺷَﺮُّ ﺍﻟﻄَّﻌَﺎﻡِ ﻃَﻌَﺎﻡُ ﺍﻟْﻮَﻟِﻴﻤَﺔِ ﻳُﻤْﻨَﻌُﻬَﺎ
ﻣَﻦْ
ﻳَﺄْﺗِﻴﻬَﺎ ﻭَﻳُﺪْﻋَﻰ ﺇِﻟَﻴْﻬَﺎ ﻣَﻦْ ﻳَﺄْﺑَﺎﻫَﺎ

, “The worst food is the food of a wedding banquet in
which the rich are invited but the poor are left out.”

6)Ar-riyaau

Allah the Exalted will say
to them (who show off), on the Day of Resurrection when
the people are being rewarded for their deeds: Go to those
whom you wished to show off in the world and look for
your reward with them.” (Musnad Ahmad Hadith 23119)

7)Imitating the kuffar
Using wedding gown, engagement ring,free mixing with opposite sex,kissing in public ,are all imitations of the kuffar and the prophet says

َ ﻣَﻦْ ﺗَﺸَﺒَّﻪَ ﺑِﻘَﻮْﻡٍ ﻓَﻬُﻮَ ﻣِﻨْﻬُﻢ

ْWhoever imitates a
people is one of them.’” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, hasan sahih)

Here are some suggestions that I have. Please, do not see any of these suggestions as an attack on Islam. This is just my own effort at trying to look for solutions for a problem that has tarnished the image of Muslims not only in Nigeria but all over the world. So a few suggestions are:

1. Eliminate Madrasas. These schools have served as a breeding ground to brainwash children. Some of these brainwashed children can then grow up to be terrorists. Muslim children should be sent to normal schools were they learn English, Arithmetic, reasoning and logic. This will equip them to think critically as adults not only about religion but also about politics and world events.

2. Declare some parts of the Quran and Hadith as haram: Some parts of the scriptures are just plainly wrong. For example, the command to kill those who do not believe in Islam. Christians used to have a similar problem with the Old Testament and they were able to solve it by placing their attention on the New Testament. If something similar can be done in Islam it will go a long way to help address this issue of radicalization.
