Whilst I don't support fayose's plan to demolish mosques if they haven't contravened the state's building/environmental laws, truth be told mosques have no value added to society and are at best terrorist breeding grounds so it makes sense to clamp down on them.

PRESS RELEASE:

PLANNED DEMOLITION OF MOSQUES:
FAYOSE IS PLAYING WITH FIRE.

Four mosques were last week marked for demolition by the Ayodele Fayose administration in Ekiti State. The state government claimed that worshippers could contact cancer from the radioactive emission from the petrol stations where the mosques are located.

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) condemns the attempt to demolish the mosques. It is an act of aggression against the peace-loving and law-abiding Muslims of the state. It is primitive, provocative and sadistic. It is an undisguised invitation to anarchy.

The state government’s excuse of exposure to cancer is lame, infantile, laughable and untenable. What of hundreds of petrol attendants who have been serving in petrol stations in Ekiti State since its inception on 1st October 1996? How many of them have had cases of cancer? How many petrol attendants in the whole of Nigeria have been exposed to radioactive emissions? Can the claim be certified by the World Health Organisation? Fayose’s public health adviser must be from hell!

But the wind has blown and we have seen the ruff of the hen. Fayose’s radioactive emission is a mere cloak for political vendetta. It has since been revealed that all the four petrol stations involved belong to Alhaji Suleman Akinbami, a chieftain of the opposition party.

Fayose has probably forgotten that the end users of those mosques are the Muslims of Ekiti State and the petrol dealer cum philanthropist hardly uses them. It is impossible, at least, for him to physically worship in all the four mosques simultaneously. This is where Fayose misfired. He is invariably targeting Muslims in Ekiti State by attempting to demolish those mosques but he has forgotten that anyone who attacks a mosque anywhere in Nigeria has courted the wrath of Nigerian Muslims. Ekiti State governor is waging war against Islam. Fayose has murdered sleep and he shall sleep no more.

Yet we cannot trust Fayose when it comes to matters affecting Muslims. He may be killing two birds with one stone. To put it more succinctly, by demolishing the four mosques, Fayose hopes to punish a political opponent and also castigate Ekiti Muslims whom he hates so much at the same time.

His antecedents bear vehement testimonies to his pathological hatred for Muslims and their religion. It will be recalled that Fayose formed an all-Christian government after assumption of office in 2015. His deputy governor, secretary to the state government, all 14 commissioners, all 26 permanent secretaries are Christians.

Using the Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission (EKSIEC), Fayose in December 2015 banned Muslim women in hijab from partaking in the local government elections thereby effectively disenfranchising a large section of Muslims.

Known for constantly running diarrhea of the mouth, Fayose accused President Muhammadu Buhari of Islamising Nigeria just because the latter visited Saudi Arabia in February 2016. But he did not see any Christianisation agendum when his principal, ex-President Goodluck Jonathan was shuttling between Abuja and Tel Aviv every fortnight. His open bigotry and untethered hatred for Muslims makes him the governor with the worst record of Christian-Muslim relations in the whole wide world.

Drunk with absolute power which corrupts absolutely, Fayose has rebuffed the request of leaders of the Ekiti Muslim community to meet him over the mosques marked for demolition. Consequently, the Muslim leaders have suspended today’s Jum’ah prayer in all the four mosques affected. Thus Fayose will be remembered as the Christian dictator and fanatical chief executive who stopped Muslims of Ekiti State from worshipping their Creator.

MURIC charges Muslims in the state to repose their confidence in Allah who is their Supreme Creator and the Creator of Fayose and other tyrants of the world. It is decreed that Fayose will go one day but Almighty Allah will be there forever. Fayose’s power will melt away one day like ice cream in the burning desert sun. “All that is on earth will perish. Only the face of your Lord will abide forever…” (Glorious Qur’an 55:26 – 27).

Fayose’s power is ephemeral. He will soon become an ‘ex-this and ex-that’. We urge the Imams in Ekiti to magnanimously visit Fayose in Kirikiri  after his tenure as governor when he eventually starts to account for his abuse of power while in office. We urge Ekiti Muslims to resist Fayose’s illegal attempt to destroy those mosques. They must go to court, get a restraining order and continue to pray there.

Where are those who claim that Christians are persecuted in the North? The tragedy of the Nigerian nation lies in the hypocrisy of the elite class and the collusion of the media in the South-West axis. The whole world can see how a Christian governor is persecuting Muslims but Nigeria’s social critics have maintained an unusual silence. Where are the Soyinkas and the Falanas? These people see nothing wrong so long as it is Christians who are perpetrating evil. Oh God, what have we done? Fayose, Fayose, Fayose, how many times did we call you? Why persecuteth thou Muslims?

Muslims may be left with no option than to make Ekiti ungovernable for Fayose if he goes ahead to demolish those mosques. Freedom of worship is enshrined in Nigeria’s constitution and civil disobedience is the inalienable right of a persecuted people. Those who make it impossible for us to worship freely are guilty of a crime. Every patriotic citizen has the obligation to disobey illegal, unlawful and unconstitutional orders. We will resist this oppression if the system will do nothing about it.

In conclusion, we call on well-meaning citizens of Ekiti State to call this ravaging governor to order. He cannot trample on Allah-Given fundamental rights of Muslims and expect them to put their tails between their legs like frightened dogs. Already, Muslims in the state embarked on a peaceful demonstration two days ago. We haven’t seen anything yet. We should do everything possible to prevent this crisis from snowballing into a national mayhem. Those who know Fayose’s first name should call him to order now.

- Muhammadu Sanusi ll said the current economic model would cause problem for the country
- He faulted Nigeria's move to borrow from China
- The emir sad Nigeria has little to gain from the deal

Muhammadu Sanusi ll who is the Emir of Kano has said the President Muhammadu Buhari administration’s economic model would not work as it will incur more debt.

The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria spoke at the spoke at the Kaduna State Economic Summit in Kaduna on Wednesday, April 6 on the theme: ‘Promoting investments in the midst of economic challenges’.

Sanusi said the current economic model would be used to service debts and faulted the plan by the government to take a loan from China.

He said China would benefit more from the deal while the light rail plan would be of no economic use.

He said: “The Federal Government of Nigeria is spending 66 per cent of its revenues on interests on debts, which means only 34 per cent of revenues is available for capital and recurrent expenditures.

“That model cannot work. If you look at the 2017 budget of the Federal Government, I sometimes wonder what Nigerian economists are doing? In the 2017 budget presented by the Federal Government, the amount earmarked for debt servicing is in excess of the entire non-oil revenue of the Federal Government, but that is not the problem. The problem is that it is a budget that is even going for more debts.”

“Growth can only come from investments. It cannot come from consumption. It cannot come from government balance sheet. It cannot come from borrowing because you cannot borrow unsustainably.”

“We have governors; they go to China and spend one month on a tour and what do they come back with, MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) on debts.

“China will lend you $1.8bn to build light rail. This light rail will be done by the rail workers from China. The trains will come from China. The engines will come from China. The labour comes from China. The driver is Chinese.

“At the end of the day, what do you benefit from it? Your citizen will ride on a train and when you ride on a train, in northern Nigeria, in a state like Kano or Katsina, where are you going to? You are not going to an industrial estate to work. You are not going to school? You are not going to the farm. You borrow money from China to invest in trains so that your citizens can ride on them and go for weddings and naming ceremonies.”

PRESIDENT BUHARI, AGAIN, LISTEN.....

Let me update you on a little bit of history about a few things that happened in the National Assembly:

Between 1999 and 2003 the following happened:

1. President Obasanjo imposed Senator Evan(s) Enwerem as Senate President on all the senators, but when the media - yes, the media - exposed Senator Enwerem as being an ex-convict who cleverly changed his name from Evan to Evans so that he could deceive INEC and voters to become a senator, Obasanjo mobilized and sacked him as Senate President, and nothing happened!

2. The charismatic, brilliant and stylish Chuba Okadigbo became Senate President against the wishes of President Olusegun Obasanjo, but when Okadigbo awarded a contract of a mere sum of 12 million Naira without advertisemen, or without due process, as is said these days, Obasanjo again mobilized and sacked Chuba Okadigbo as Senate President, and nothing happened!

3. After Chuba Okadigbo, President Obasanjo imposed Senator Adolphus Wabara on the senate as Senate President, but when Wabara took part in receiving and sharing a bribe of a mere sum of 50 million Naira from the Minister of Education at that time, Obasanjo ordered the arrest and immediate prosecution of Senator Adolphus Wabara, and nothing happened!

4. President Obasanjo imposed Honourable Salisu Buhari on the House of Reps as their Speaker in 1999, but when the media - yes, again, the media - exposed Hon. Salisu Buhari as having forged a degree certificate purportedly from a university in Toronto, Canada, Obasanjo mobilized and got him removed as House Speaker, and nothing happened!

5. Now, I wouldn't waste time talking about House Speaker Patricia Ette matter, as that case had no any form of interference from late President Umaru Yar'Adua!

BUT HERE COMES THE WORST.... JUST IN 2014...

6. President Goodluck Jonathan ordered the unlawful removal of the security aides of House Speaker Aminu Tambuwal, and NOTHING HAPPENED!

7. President Goodluck Jonathan ordered the gates of the National Assembly to be shut against House Speaker Aminu Tambuwal and other legislators, and NOTHING HAPPENED!

8. President Goodluck Jonathan ordered the police to teargas the National Assembly, specifically against House Speaker Aminu Tambuwal and other legislators, and NOTHING HAPPENED! Not even a whimper nor condemnation through a resolution was heard from the Senate!

NOW HERE IS THE DEAL....

• If a ruler like Obasanjo interfered in the affairs of the National Assembly to clamp down on either certificate forgers or bribe takers or for contract award "without due process", and NOTHING HAPPENED,

• And if a notoriously corrupt ruler like Jonathan clamped down on Speaker Tambuwal; shut the gates against him; teargassed him; withdrew his security cover, and NOTHING HAPPENED, what do you think will happen if a man of integrity like you clamps down on all criminals masquerading as senators in the Senate?

NOTHING WILL HAPPEN, I assure you!

In your own case, you have the massive support of majority of Nigerians to decisively clamp down on these rogues, including the unflinching support of many prominent legal luminaries. So just crush them and liberate Nigeria.... After all, that's the reason we put you in power - to liberate Nigeria from crooks, criminals, and gangsters occupying positions of power!

Shakespeare famously said you have to be cruel to be kind.... In other words, you have to be cruel to gangsters, criminals, and rogues in the Senate so that you will be kind to the poor people they seek to destroy with their corruption. Cruelty to crooks like Saraki and his gang by you will be an act of kindness to poor Nigerians. That's the deal. A committee cannot tame criminals.

Christianity EtcIslamic View On Dream by Lukgaf(op): 6:50am On Dec 30, 2016
*DREAM (1)*
*الرؤى والأحلام*

Dream is what people see in their sleep. This is also called nightmare. Using Hadiths, dream may be classified into two or three categories:

*Two Categories of Dream*

1. True dreams

2. Evil dreams. And this comprises of the Shaytan’s attempts to frighten and the workings of the subconscious.

_Evidence:_
Abu Qutaadah said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: _“True dreams come from Allah and evil dreams come from the Shaytaan. If anyone sees a bad dream that scares him, let him spit drily to his left and seek refuge with Allah from its evil, then it will not harm him.”_ al-Bukhaari, 3292

*Three Categories of Dream*

1. Visions or dreams that come from Allah.

2. Attempts by the Shaytan to frighten us

3. The workings of the subconscious.

_Evidence:_
Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: _“Dreams are of three types: glad tidings from Allah, what is on a person’s mind, and frightening dreams from the Shaytaan. If any of you sees a dream that he likes, let him tell others of it if he wishes, but if he sees something that he dislikes, he should not tell anyone about it, and he should get up and pray.”_ (Saheeh Sunan Ibn Maajah, 3154).

I dreamt what should I do? No problem, no fortune-teller or soothsayer...needed. Understand the followings under each type of dream.

*True Dreams*

*1. Know that it is from Allah*

_Evidence:_
Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) says: “If any one of you sees a dream that he likes, *it is from Allah,* so let him praise Allah for it and tell people about it... al-Bukhaari, 7045

*2. Praise Allah for it*

_Evidence:_
Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) says: “If any one of you sees a dream that he likes, it is from Allah, *so let him praise Allah for it* and tell people about it... al-Bukhaari, 7045

*3. Tell people but only to the one whom he loves*

_Evidence:_
Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) says: “If any one of you sees a dream that he likes, it is from Allah, so let him praise Allah for it and *tell people about it*... al-Bukhaari, 7045. Narrated Abu Salama: I used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard Abu Qatada saying, "I too, used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard the Prophet saying, "A good dream is from Allah, so if anyone of you saw a dream which he liked, he should not tell it to anybody except to the one whom he loves, and if he saw a dream which he disliked, then he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil and from the evil of Satan, and spit three times (on his left) and should not tell it to anybody, for it will not harm him. " al-Bukhaari Volume 9, Book 87, Number 168

*Note:* Please learn from Prophet Yusuf’s story (Peace be upon him) (Q12:4-19..), don't just tell your dream!

To be cont....

*My Brethren going to NYSC Orientation Camp*

_What are your preparations for a gathering not guided by Shari’ah?_

NYSC orientation camps in Nigeria are not the same, thus activities on each camp may be different. For example: what is allowed in Benue may not be allowed in Kano and vice versa. Prepare what to eat, though there is provision for food but it may not be enough or be your choice. Prepare what to wear; short and tight dresses are not our dress especially for the female. Get dresses of that color (especially white) and use it diplomatically. Remember, the best provision for the journey: (taqwa) (http://www.nmnonline.net/articles/taqwa.htm) and strengthen your Iman every moment (http://productivemuslim.com/recharge-your-iman/).

Muslim Corpers Association of Nigeria (MCAN) is on camp to guide you, register with them as soon as you enter. Stay in the mosque arena if it is allowed, for protection of your religion and attend their activities. And MCAN key members should follow protocol also for organizing activities.

On camp you’re living like a traveler; still don’t know your destination, Place of Primary Assignment (PPA). Jurists differed on the ruling but the most evidenced is to do Qasr till you reach your PPA. Please read about Salat Qasr.

It is haram to mix with opposite sex in the mosque which is the purest place on the face of the earth – then how about orientation camp that is not guided by shari’ah? Allah says: _“those who do not bear witness to falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity”_ (Q 25:72). My brethren, it is not a must to attend promiscuous and immoral gatherings on camp, don’t be fooled.

Islam strives to protect woman and guard them against the causes of temptation and deviation, it is not permissible for a woman to travel without a mahram. Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: _“No woman should travel except with a mahram, and no man should enter upon her unless there is a mahram with her.”_ A man said: “O Messenger of Allah, I want to go out with such and such an army and my wife wants to go for Hajj.” He said: _“Go out with her."_  al-Bukhaari (1729) and Muslim (2391), Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (12/178). So, what is your preparation for this?

Attacks on Muslim sister are frequent on camp. Listen brothers! Allah says: _"The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those - Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise."_ (Q9:71). Protect your sister diplomatically, who will protect her if not you.

Posting to a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) is a lesson for all; it looks like the Day of Judgment. From different institutions, meet and become friends. Within that short time you will not like to leave your friend but the camping is over you need to go.

Collection of letter to PPA is touching; coper will line up in the same uniform. After collection of letter of PPA some will be happy and some will not be happy. You will see graduate crying! Why? He/she was posted to village while his/her friend was posted to town, thus feel frustrated. My brethren, don’t cry, ask Allah to give you the best, He knows you don’t know. Allah says: _“perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.”_ (Q2:216). Any place you’re posted to, your religion is the priority, if you’re still a believer, what makes you happy than that?!

I say jazakallahu to Bro Tolulope (of FIQH CLASS, Unilorin Graduate) that asked for the advice and every other aspiring corps members.

May Allah make piety part of your journey, forgive your sins and fulfil the purpose of the journey. I make Allah responsible for your deen, your trustworthiness and for the results of your actions.
IslamWhy You Must Stop Saying Baba God As A Muslim by Lukgaf(op): 10:20am On Nov 04, 2016
*OH BABA-GOD!!!*

Know, may Allah guide you, that each time you say Baba-God, three things are involved and the sweetest among the three is bitter.

*ONE*; It is either you are referring to Allah as BABA (father) and this means that you are affirming for Allah an attribute which he distances himself from. He says in Surah Al-Ikhlas, Verse 3;
*"He begets not, nor is He begotten."*

*TWO*; Or you are calling upon Jesus, and this is also something else in Islam because Allah says in Surah Al-Jinn, Verse 18:
*...call not upon any one with Allah.*

*THREE*; or you are merely saying it without attaching any importance to it. Alas, this is a way some people call upon their god and you are meant to keep yourself off from such. The prophet says; *Whoever imitates a group is among them.* Abu Dawood (3512). Albany grades it as hasan in saheeh Abu Dawud (3401).

I hope you can see this issue from the angles I see it now??

*IF YES*, then it is high time you stopped saying OH BABA-GOD when you need something from Allah or a calamity befalls you. *As a Muslim, you are expected to be calling upon Allah with his beautiful names.*

*IF NO*, I pray Allah open your eyes to the truth and grant you the ability to follow it.

May Allah grant us all sound us understanding of his deen.
