This should be for jl115 actually Seriously though, I offered him a way out by attaching what I actually said. His insult and mine cancelled each out. He could've just put it down to a mistake. Instead he doubled down! |

jakeporeshenkoo: anyways if these stats give you the urge to hug transformer please go ahead, your bitching and moaning won’t change reality SA man. Lurker4Long: I never rise to the Nigeria/SA bullshit, son! I, as an individual, am tackling you as an individual. So, let's cut this short: show any evidence for these assertions about me:
1) "when you suffered your mental breakdown some pages back because you can’t stand Nigeria’s military budget being larger than that of SA" 2) "When people try to educate you sometimes STFU and listen, not everyday trolling" 3) "anyways if these stats give you the urge to hug transformer please go ahead, your bitching and moaning won’t change reality SA man"
Should be easy enough to go to the budget nonsense which starts on page 2558 and pull my posts which prove your case. Put it up here and I'll apologise. And I still wait for you to prove all those 3 statements you made. Why don't you nut up motherf...er and admit you were talking absolute garbage. Might actually salvage some modicum of respect. Instead of this abject display of amoeba-like shiftiness. |

jakeporeshenkoo: Perhaps your dealer is on vacation so you’ve resulted to meth…. I was specifically referring to the comment you made here about facts and hurt feelings, why the amnesia ? Bitch, please! What the _fuck is this? jakeporeshenkoo: Since you talk about facts. The supplementary military budget for 2021 alone was N698 billion ($1.6bn or more at the time), somehow when you suffered your mental breakdown some pages back because you can’t stand Nigeria’s military budget being larger than that of SA, everyone on the thread forgot to mention this.
Another supplementary budget for 2022 was also signed.
When people try to educate you sometimes STFU and listen, not everyday trolling.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/08/supplementary-budget-increases-2021-deficit-by-n848bn/amp/ Or this? jakeporeshenkoo: As usual.the only way you know how to respond is with misogynistic Bullshit, perhaps it’s SA culture who know… anyways if these stats give you the urge to hug transformer please go ahead, your bitching and moaning won’t change reality SA man. Like I said, "screeching like a washer-woman with PMS results in the garbage you've just posted." Actually, I owe washer-women - PMS or not - an apology. The crack you're smoking has you plumbing some new indescribable depths! |

Exnavyboy62: To our our brothers in the south, do you guys have more info about this. I mean are they still going to get deployed even when the people of DRC insist that the UN peacekeepers should leave. This is nothing new. These are troops training to replace the current battalion that's in the DRC. We rotate our troops deployed there every 12 months. The MONUSCO mission in the DRC is composed of 2 components: 1) peace-keeping -- since 1999; 2) peace-enforcement --since 2013; SADC - SA, Malawi, Tanzania - decided to embark on the 2nd mission in the form of the Force Intervention Brigade. The current Congolese protests are directed at the 1st mission. This is not to say there are no problems with the 2nd. Whether it's SADC or the EAC, they'd rather have mission 2, but lack of funding means accepting some aspect of mission 1. And of course DRC internal politics. |

kikuyu1: A typically Russkie weapons system! Simple, rugged and highly effective-the SB 9 82 milly auto mortar system, aka Cornflower. It's actually a gun-mortar system meaning it can be used in direct fire mode.
Damn! Every African nation army should have a couple of the mounted version of the Cornflower in the coy support platoon;what the USMC calls the weapons platoon. I'll see your 82mm and raise you a 120mm semi-guided, mobile protected platform. With good reason, one might have doubts about Denel Land Systems as a company, there's Paramount with even better, same system with a locating radar as sold to Singapore. PIC 1-3: Denel Agrab 120mm Mortar System; PIC 4: Paramount Belrex 120mm Mortar System.

kabe1: Kuje prison is in Abuja, the outskirts of the city. 60 Boko-Haram Terrorists were imprisoned there, all of them fled. A number of them have been recaptured, however a good number of them are still at large, majority actually.
Worrying developments ........ Are you serious!!!!
That's the understatement of the year that has had Russia invade Ukraine.
We are looking at a very precarious situation in the country, not just Abuja. Considering I was talking specifically about Abuja, which has been relatively unscathed, these attacks in Abuja are a worrying development, no? Comprehension.... |

kabe1: Before there's a mis communication.
The Presidential Guards is a branch of the Nigerian army in charge of security in Abuja, parts of Niger state and parts of Nassarawa state.
The Attack happened in Bwari(Bwari is on the outskirts of Abuja), the intended target was the Nigerian Law school in Bwari.
A Nigerian army patrol came under attack, however the attack was repelled, although the army lost 3 soldiers.
I think the security situation around Abuja is about the seriously deteriorate, except the security agencies launch an operation to nip this in the bud. You don't have to be a security expert to see this coming. Thanks. Wasn't there a jail-break of terrorists in or near Abuja recently? Worrying developments. |

GreenandGold: The Caspian Report covered the Lesotho Highlands Water Project geopolitics with SA. It was really well researched, I'm impressed. There's no doubt tiny Lesotho got screwed with Phase 1 of the project. But then again we took all the risk with the construction. It also doesn't help that with the financing of their portion, World Bank funds were diverted by their politicians, resulting in SA putting up more funding and increasing our stake. Also, 80% of their budget is derived from SA, in the form of remittances and funds from Customs Union, which sees Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana getting shares of Customs duties from SA ports far in excess of the amounts they trade. Which provides enormous leverage to SA when they threaten to get out of hand. Like when Botswana wanted to negotiate a free trade deal with the US outside of the Customs Union. Pravin Gordhan innocently wondered at a press conference whether it was time to bring Customs Union funds in line with trade figures, and that put paid to any notion of unilateral free trade agreements. POSTSCRIPT: What's up with the Kenyan stock images? Couldn't Caspian find videos of the Lesotho Highlands to buy? |
