I'm optimistic our efforts will not be in vain.

LasGidiOwner: Okorocha is a well known armed robber. He has been into armed robbery till he entered into government and started the mass robbing. See Okorocha's files as revealed by the Wikileaks..
-The head of the National Airport Management Authority (NAMA), Rochas Okorocha, was caught and dismissed for embezzling about $1 million through an inflated contract; Obasanjo then appointed him as a senior aide, without requiring Okorocha to repay the stolen funds. Okorocha was eventually fired on July 13 in a cabinet reshuffle, but went on to start a political party for his renewed presidential ambitions. https://wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/06ABUJA483_a.html The proper link. http://allafrica.com/stories/200102160203.htmlRocha's has always been a scammer. |

NgeneUkwenu: Buhari wasn't president when factories in Ikeja began browning off and selling their facilities to churches.
He wan't here when 80% of SME died away and the rest went on life support.
Buhari wasn't president when landlords were being watched charging rent in US dollars and stores were selling in hard currency.
Buhari wasn't president when wheat farming collapsed and Cote d'Ivore overtook us in Cocoa production.
Buhari didn't destroy Iwopin paper mill or ALSCON in Ikot-Abasi, a single factory that at a point brought in 30% equivalent of what we got from oil.
Buhari didn't take us from net exporter of oil palm products to lazy importers of the same.
Buhari didn't make us importers of petrol and diesel nor is he responsible for killing of the textile industry.
He didn't destroy our forest resources or ran down power stations like Egbin until only three out of twelve turbines work.
People shout policy but there is no policy that can transform a 'post-war' economic environment with the snap of the finger and government should just tell the people that this thing is what it is.
Government also has to water down expectations on oil prices ever rising above 55 dollars because it is just not possible in the age of Shale and renewables.
This nation is cornered and it has no choice than to reform it's lifestyles and go back to work.
It has to reform it's justice system such that it can jail it's thieves and reward those who do things right. We are refusing to allow hardship nudge us in the right direction but prefer to explain our woes as a personal failure of Buhari to draft policy from sheer air.
They were trampling people to death on job queues before he came on board.
Where are your farms to save you from food importation or your refineries to save you from seeking dollars to import fuel?
Where are your schools to educate your children without sending them to foreign universities when you can afford it?
He isn't two years in control yet and I believe he deserves a little more understanding given the gradients of the point where he took over.
Buhari met all these things that way, plus a devastating war that devoured the nation from a region and we have the choice of working with him to restore and rebuild the country or allow ourselves to get us into false sentiments, take advantage of us to return us to the years of the locust. Usual thrash. At least he should not have made it 200% worse than he met things. |

Honestly Nigerians are dumb... We don't even know who to blame for a particular problem that's our main problem
We can only get out of recession by spending and we can only spend by either taxing or borrowing.. This government chose to borrow and u tell your reps not to allow it.. Yet u don't want to pay more tax.... And ur out foolishly protesting
God (if he exists) know i cant rule this country.. You forgot to add that your father shelved some huge responsibilities equally. |

DropShot: Nigeria is surely very bad at the moment but we failed to cry and hold past leaders accountable when we were supposed to.
A man who worked for 30 years earning decent salaries but failed to save for the rainy days will have himself to blame if and when his income is halved. Our problem was caused by the past administration's failure to save while looting what they met and earned.
PMB is unfortunate to be president at this time BUT we Nigerians are lucky to have a shrewd man as him and Osinbajo at this moment.
If the IB had not been booted out, one can only wonder what could have become our story. His was an administration that had to borrow to pay federal workers even when crude was $80 per barrel. Also, about 30 states were unable to pay their workers for up to 8 months as at the time PMB came in! Where were the town criers of today? Where was 2 Face, Charlie Boy, and other beneficiaries of corruption of that time?
I will ignore senseless response to my post. Because you know your post is senseless in the first instance. |

As a non-partisan,who isnt happy with the current leadership,i admit that d current situation is as a result of massive looting.

Funny Story: So the first day we Corps Members reported to the school we were to teach, at the assembly line that morning, all we kept hearing was HOLY GHOST FIRE, HOLY GHOST FIRE in the morning devotion at the School, as the prayers was conducted in the Ibo Dialect.
Later one of the female Corper who was an Easterner now informed us that the prayers was for us the male corpers.

Comparing a 3yr old administration with a 7yr old failure? Even with 2 back to back bailouts, Rochas is still owing salaries and pensions compared to Anambra that has not received 1 kobo bailout, owed ₦48 billion in FG projects and is not owing a penny of salaries and pensions is the Willie you comparing him with. Abagworo: Chino tell me where to see it in Port Harcourt. Moreover anyone can rebag rice using any State of choice. There sure are rice farms in Anambra State but none is owned by the State but individuals. Ebonyi has 100 times more of such farms but have you seen Umahi's or Elechi's pics on any Ebonyi made rice? Correction, Chino is not Luvinhubby. Maybe you will need to read up another meaning for PARTNERSHIP. Ebonyi state can decide to partner rice farmers or not, that is their vision. Maybe LAKE rice is also a private and not state sponsored venture. |
