Imagine, over 120 billion in debts (continous intetest not included) for a state that generates less than 2 billion from fed allocation & IGR monthly and the debt was used to pay for frivolous welfare policies like school feeding & opon imo.

All projects are abandoned, salaries are no more being paid, doctors & teachers are on strike.

State of Osun is a hopelessly failed state.

His brother in Imo state is busy still embezzling even the bail funds given to him from our commonwealth to pay salaries that he has refused to pay till date.

I have been saying this for so long . Whenever the government tries to gentrify the land , the so called Yoruba activist move out enmass .

What i see been done is PMB clearing office holders & replacing them with party loyalists.

The reality is that Nigeria's borrowing for 2016 budget will be well over N2 trillion & spending a quarter of that on poorly articulated welfare scheme that will end up enriching politicians pockets is clearly bad for Nigeria.

All economic indicators are down & still going down, the roof is on fire, drastic & aggressive fiscal measures are highly needed now, not welfare packages.
