Proudlyngwa: Outside defeating Jonathan is it safe to say that there is no valid reason for disliking PMB by the Igbos Please provide us with an empirical evidence that Igbos, my humble self inclusive, hate Buhari. The preference for one does not automatically translate into hatred for the opposite, please be guided. |

realjoker: ok, I apologize. But most of those who wail about his government are not those that think he is not up to the task but it is borne out of hatred. My position on Buhari is that other nations are going for younger 21st century compliant leaders able to conceive present day ideas to steer their ship, e.g. Kenya, Canada, U.K and Tanzania, Buhari is too fixated on punishing offenders thaN generating present day ideas for Nigeria, after all he had called it quits in 2011 from politics. Yes i question his ability, but not out of hatred but genuine national concern and current realities seem to prove me right, at least for now. |

Proudlyngwa: The oil industry raised the benchmark for a lot of things A lot of industries were ignored, people who could get jobs as teachers rather waited to be roustabouts. There are a lot of things I have seen in the oil industry that bleeds my heart. to me it has far outlived it's usefulness not because it has become useless but because it favours a thousand out of a million. The lead in ebonyi is not properly tapped, and so is bitumen, sugar, starch, snail and many more. Don't forget this discourse is on why do people hate President Buhari That did not answer my question, i said, the bulk of today's ruling APC progressives clamored for true fiscal federalism till they won the elections and kept quiet, why? |

Dakad: Personally, I dnt see anything like maturity here. We need credible opposition in this country and PDP doesn't have what it takes. I pray a credible and bold party spring up to put this government on their toes. No wonder PMB doesn't send with some of his actions Here we are for months no fuel and the government is doing nothing. All of us admitted that LEGISLATORS budget is too much during GEJ but PMB budgets 115billions and nobody is talking. I want PMB to succeed and fir my generation to see good leadership in this country for the first time and I believe him BUT we need credible opposition Realistically, PDP is the only party with structures and personalities to do the job of opposition and in relative comparison with APC's actions and utterances as then opposition party, this is a very mature approach, if you want analysis, tell me 'uncle please' |

Proudlyngwa: Nigeria can work through diversification, and certainly is not a bogus nonsense. Even though I work in the oil industry, I have always prayed for its collapse Unless your oil industry is somewhere in Trinidad & Tobago that may explain why you hold this opinion. If i may ask you, why was the majority of the so-called progressives in the ruling APC today calling for true fiscal federalism before they became the ruling part? Please answer this question ASAP. Thanks |

Will advise you to put up a thread to discus how Nigeria can work, this bogus nonsense called a nation is too superficial and cannot function effectively this way. |

Proudlyngwa: I saw the first link and I understand it, the second link doesn't seem to have that reference. Let's hope the results of the borrowing justifies it, but we are all in this together and that is why we are diversifying, and I just wanted hired ten plots for cassava cultivation The diversification is even under threat as the only available option to Nigeria now is agricultural industrialization but pitifully, this govt does not want build on the foundation laid by GEJ through Adeshina in the Agric. sector out of shame and pride having condemned and criticized it as a fallacy during the elections. If i may ask you, what is Buhari's agricultural change agenda, does he intend to start from where GEJ stopped or does he intend to start his own if so what? |
Politics › Re: Why The Presidential Hatred by luvinhubby(m): 10:35am On Dec 26, 2015 |
Proudlyngwa: Agreed that it's nine months but don't forget that the naira was devalued during the last administration towards the elections in the guise of making the market favourable for investors with dollars, and also for emptying our dollar vault for easier distribution, these things will certainly be reversed but it takes time
http://saharareporters.com/2015/03/27/dollarization-nigerian-economy-femi-falana And that same dollar sold for N202 to $1 immediately after the elections, or have you forgotten, how do explain that. It skyrocket after FDIs stopped bringing funds into Nigeria and foreign investors started withdrawing funds from our stock market due to lack of economic policy direction and a non-existent medium and long term economic frame work. |

Proudlyngwa: Again and again Maybe you can recheck the links and the relevance to why the were quoted In summary, the first link highlighted IMF's forecast of crude selling at $20 next year and the second link highlighted Standard Chartered removing Nigeria from it's bond index due to CBN's policy after JP Morgan had done so earlier or do you need links also of where our govt intends to borrow N1.84trillion next to finance it's budget deficit and you are there preaching better things ahead for Nigeria, i pray to God it does, but the outlook is grim my friend, very grim indeed. |

While we are it, we all know about the dollarizaction of the last election from the two major players, its the reverse effect we are feeling now. Those dollars were converted to naira before it fulfilled it's local purose & moreover, elections ended over 9 months ago so what else. |

midolian: Though rigging happens everywhere, becoming victorious in an election in Nigeria has always been about what the people want and partly who rigged it best,.. but can you prove this your allegation? If No, I would suggest you shut it before Buratai comes looking for you Kogi was outrightly rigged and Bayelsa was turned into a war by troops loyal to APC. Viral videos abound of gun-wielding soldiers snatching ballot boxes in Southern Ijaw, no further proof is needed and Burutai should first safeguard his home town before anything else. |

Proudlyngwa: I said Nigeria is about to get better. There is more transparency and accountability at the the top soon as it will trickle down and that can only mean one thing . It's a gradual process but also a sure process. Before every giant leap there is certainly a little squat. Constructive criticism is what we should focus on Both CBN governor and accountant-general has denied knowledge of the N8.7 billion Remitta heist and you are waiting for accountability from a govt that has at least two major former governor thieves as super ministers in it. Every major global economic firm has forecasted gloom for Nigeria economically with JP Morgan and Standard Chartered de-listing Nigeria from their bond index. Our 2016 budget is based on 25% borrowing and crude oil price benchmark of $38 and global energy forecasters are estimating that with the entrance of Iran and U.S into the oil export market that crude will sell around $20 per barrel. I wish Buhari well but Nigeria can never get better under the current structure and that is the subject of another discourse. |
