Ballmer:It crosses all divides. I've seen a lot of tribal Igbo posters who are sensible but they're not in majority. I've also seen alot of tribal Yoruba posters who are sensible but are too insultive, brashly and too full of themselves, unfortunately they are in majority and they know themselves. Asotan won po. |
OP, you are troublesome. Despite your obvious distrust and dislike for the Igbos, you still manage to back your statement with facts. Although you're openly tribal but you still pass your message with class. You're not forceful or brash but your messages still manage to carry punch. You're unashamedly bias but you still come across as been honest. I don't know if I'm making sense, my point is if you guys will continue to tribalise every thread, please be sensible like the OP. |
nicerichard05:Unfortunately I disagree, the future is not yet born. But let's keep doing our part. |
OP, don't bother preaching, they will never change. They are mentally unstable........ their situation can never be solve by preaching. |
Wisdom. |
MayorofLagos:70 years! It's more than enough to assimilate. Please let's allow bygone to be bygone and hopefully we've all learnt from it. |
*Sigh* Calling other tribes living in any part of Nigeria immigrants is politically and legally wrong. However, political happenings under Jonathan have really opened my eyes to the reality that every tribe in Nigeria are territorial. What differentiate each and every tribe is our languages and culture. You lose that then you're nothing. Let's all learn to respect our differences and above all our humanity. Let's correct each other with love. As someone said, it's possible the Eze don't understand the culture behind the Baba oloja. He should be corrected with love. But telling someone to erase her history, culture and language for your sake is disrespectful. |
However, I have tried to prevail on my colleagues to stop the use of Yoruba Language and revert to the use of the English during our Thursday sitting, though I have not moved a motion to that effect, I will soon do that because i dont think its proper to speak local language in the house. This statement is disrespectful and tactless especially on the background of what happened during the last election.... It shows lack of tolerance. It indicate a man with an high level of entitlement. |
The alleged conspiracy is a figment. It takes at least two people to make a conspiracy. There has been no substantive communication between Asiwaju and Saraki since the latter decided to foul the integrity of the Senate and the party. To be truthful, I don’t think Saraki would care to hear what Asiwaju would have to say to him. He would admonish the Senator to treat the nomination process with dispatch, justice, fairness, transparency, and most of all with the greatest patriotism. He would counsel Saraki to shelve his personal situation for the moment to concentrate on the people’s business. For the record. |
The challenges before them are manifold and daunting. Those who want the best for Nigeria can only hope that these people succeed. The only intervention that Asiwaju Tinubu would make is one of encouragement. He would charge them to remain true to the progressive vision of the party and our President. None should allow themselves to be enticed to join league with those who would cast us back into the old mould of PDP governance: to Pilfer, Destroy and Pillage.*wipe tears* |
Better late than never..... good one. |
Shymm3x:If you can answer Yes to the following questions I'll join issue with you. You don't have dual citizenship? Do you live in Nigeria? Do your immediate family live in Nigeria ? Leaders in UK urge their citizens to take up arms against blacks who commit crimes? Can you now see that those who support you and your likes in foolishness are senseless idiots like you. Please don't quote me again. |
If not that there's something else in it, are the so called elders not suppose to urge the law enforcers to to do their job instead they are urging the citizens to break the law. Agba ma to ile ni. |
He added, “It is on record that not less than 10,000 heads of cattle are consumed in the South-West daily. Majority of the heads of cattle are brought in malnourished, having been made to walk hundreds of kilometres from the northern part of the country.Words. |
May God bless the erudite lawyer. Thank God insane people are not in majority in the Southwest...... Awon ele fi ogbon ka iwe. School indeed went through him. |
Intelligence reports had revealed that some state governors, party leaders and political godfathers, whose nominees were dumped by the President for his preferred candidates, have begun to “unleash their goons in a well coordinated media campaigns and groups’ protests against Mr President’s choice of ministerial nominees”Is this the plot? Is it because of this foolish plot our intelligence agencies are putting people on watch? The sunnewspaper should please get their act together. This is poor journalism. |
A security source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “What we learnt was that the gunmen came in an SUV, stopped close to the army post, walked majestically into the post, and dismantled the General Purpose Machine Gun.The name sounds like a gun use in warfront..... Let me Google. Ha! In the first place, what's the gun doing in Bayelsa? Is there a war going on there? This should be investigated. |
This is an insult! Cancer shouldn't stop the prosecution of the case. If she's guilty let her be put on house arrest. |
warrior01: |
mykl01:Yes I'm serious. If it was still Jonathan on the seat........ will they go this extreme? |
My goodness........ this is headache inducing. |
Shymm3x: |
sherrylo:God bless you! Yorubas are not fools neither are we sheeps. By the way, where were their voices during the last dispensation? Mr President, don't be foolish like Jonathan by allowing some group to destroy your government. Use the law to fight any law breakers. |
kokoA:As I said, my opinion was based on her interview. In my opinion, we need a tough cookie to head the ministry..... We need someone who will call the shot no matter who's horse is gored. To cut the long story short, we need someone like Sanusi who sees the big picture. I may be wrong but she sounded like a compassionate and an easily forgivable person. I don't think is enough to confront the sharks we have in this country. |
Ministry of Niger Delta affair....... I want him in charge of those militants |
In my days in the University of Ife, I was attending meetings with the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and I’m very happy to say that I participated in the writing of the policy papers, which became the guiding light for UPN governments in their various states of the South West when eventually they came to power.I like him going by his interview........Ministry of Education, If I'm the President. |
dekdek:This is totally unfair........ the person who headed the last dispensation was a Man. Should we say because of that, we should stop electing a man? |
In all honesty, Baba have not been fair to the women........he should do more. |
Minister of Power or works. |
She is soulful, motherly,wifely.......a person that view issue from a humanitarian perspective going by her interview. Is she good enough as minister of finance? NO. If I'm the President she will be heading ministry of women affair. |
PassingShot:They didn't vote for him. |
millionboi:Hehehehe! Lai will be humbled? I can't wait to witness it. |
