Only if you knew how Nigeria works.
A friends name was deleted from university admission list to be replaced by another person . We are talking about the abacha years and not the Dubai generation of thieves.
You can read the story below
Thanks for the below link.

The big different is that we now have a President who have a strong will to fight corruption.

These kind of gigantic corruption going under the President's nose are embarrassing.

We have to improve certain deliveries and that is why we have these meetings with the DISCOs. They have to roll out meters, install lines and transformers, among others,” the minister said
Fashola............... Hmmmmm. I'm giving him benefit of the doubt.
Politics › Re: Sanusi: Buhari’s FX Policy Encourages Corruption-thecable by luvmijeje(f): 3:38am On Feb 09, 2016
Sanusi who resisted devaluation during his own tenure as CBN governor said he did so because he “had reserves of over $40bn and an oil price at over $110,” admitting that there are no easy ways out of the current situation and “devaluation is a bitter pill”.

The country’s economic woes were now being exacerbated, with the currency peg and restrictions in the foreign exchange market creating “a lot of speculative and precautionary demand,” Sanusi argued.

Exporters and investors “are holding on to foreign currency, as no one would sell at the rate the government is setting”, while “the government does not have the reserves to keep the exchange rate at its official level in the market”.

“These policies have been tried in different parts of the world and in this country before and they have just never worked. No matter what the stated intention behind them, they are wrong,” he said.

The gap between the black market rate and the “artificial” official exchange rate would keep widening until the bank adopted a more realistic policy or the price of oil climbed and dramatically increased reserves, he further said.
From my own layman point of view, mallam reasons for devaluation are not compelling enough.

He didn't do it during his era because the we have enough reserves, maybe the President is also building enough to cushion the naira.

We need more debate on it. Where are the nairaland'economic in house team?

Adewole said the figure might not have been the original allocation to the clinic by State House, noting that the original allocation might have been inflated by the same forces, which, he said, had distorted his ministry’s original estimates
Who the heck are the forces? I hate this kind of helpless statement. The health minister should the needful by reporting the forces to the EFCC.

My dear, what you highlighted up there is exactly the case with me. You can read any meaning you like to it.

I must learn to tolerate criticism as President. I guess it has started with you.
Good. It's not just tolerating but responding positively to criticism. If you think I'm wrong, convince me with a superior argument and not just put your head under the sand all because you want to be President. I won't vote you if you continue taking things personal.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The favor of the Lord is upon me that he has chosen me to be the president of a nation. In my reign shall that nation know abundance and peace.

Now I know that I have a part to play to make it a reality. That is why I have come to this house to find out practical steps I can take to help myself and millions of people who will be under my jurisdiction by becoming the president of that nation.

What steps do you think I should take?
I tend not to trust people who use God's name unnecessarily.

Put it at the back of your mind that the President of Nigeria must learnt to be tolerant . Meaning you must serve your God privately. Nigerians is a diverse country so you must learn to quote Bible in your living room.

We all love God, so learn to bring more rather than boboing us with God.

This article is fun and carries a lot of sublime messages.
It portrays the range rover boy as being unprincipled, selfish and evil. So he wants to push people to their death all because he wants to escape justice.

It indicate how gullible most of his supporters and those who support other politicians who see warmongering and hatred as the only solutions to issues.

I hope Shymm3x and his co-travellers in foolishness who insulted their lives and not mine all because of these old men are witness to what's going on.

The Range Rover boy arrives in a long convoy. He descends from his car, dressed in full Igbo war regalia. As he approaches the two elders, he is chanting “nzogbu nzogbu enyimba enyi”.)
“Hey, hey, hey, will you stop singing that Igbo war chant? Where do you think you are? What do you think you are doing? Se ori e pe sha Femi? Are you okay?”
“My Fathers, I apologize. You summoned me from the war front. I came straight from the war front because I hold you in such high esteem.”
“War front?”
“Yes sir. We are fighting for Biafra. It’s Biafra or nothing. It’s a cause we are prepared to die for. We are tired of being oppressed in Nigeria.”
“We? Biafra? You are Biafra?”
“Yes, Chief, we are oppressed. We will not take it. We will fight Buhari to a standstill”
“Ha! Ikunle o! Who did this to you, Femi? You said you were a specialist in sleeping with their women. A tie gbo yen. When did you become a specialist in fighting their battles?”

Mr. Opurum, in his testimony in October, said the Special Forces were tasked with advancing to recapture Delwa to clear the way for other battalions to pass through to recapture Babulin and Damboa from the insurgents.
He said he took off for the operation with only four officers and 29 soldiers as “tasked” after majority of the 174 soldiers in the unit refused to join the operation.
The witness said after he took charge of the Special Forces, he addressed and assured them that they could achieve the task given to them.
He, however, said the soldiers were “hesitant to partake in the operation” in spite of the assurances.
Under cross examination by Femi Falana, who represented the accused soldiers, Mr. Opurum said 47 of the soldiers who initially refused, later re-joined the forces for another operation.
Mr. Opurum said the 47 soldiers joined, after he called for reinforcement, as they came under attack from terrorists, who out-numbered them and had superior weapons.

Thank God that we don't have a President who will refused to raise a hand all because he believes the Igbos want to pulled his government down unlike one useless President who allowed Boko Haram to festered all because he believes Notherners were behind Boko Haram.

If you were as half smart as you are trying to make out, you should have known that any person 'lying' against a Lai needs commendation and not condemnation.

It is only people like you that are beclouded by ethno-religious and sentimental considerations and therefore rendered yourselves incapable of seeing Lai Mohammed for who he really is- a mendacious opportunist.

By the time Lai is through with his stint as the spokesman for the APC government, the little that is left of this smokescreen called the "change" regime would have been irrecoverably dispelled.
Really? I'm going to tell you why Lai will go down as the best publicity Secretary this country have ever produced.

Lai is patriot....... In his criticism, he always focused on issues that concerns the citizens even though some of us know is for selfish purpose.

Lai has never attempted to divide the people by playing politics of religion or ethnicity. He always focused his missles on PDP.

Lai is a master of magnification. He magnify errors known to all to be errors made by PDP.

Lai timing is always on point. He knows when to criticise. He didn't criticise for the sake of criticism .

PDP should learn the art of opposition from him and stop criticising senselessly.
