With Hughton seeing plenty of goals when he takes on the Reds, Al Hain-Cole is backing another high-scoring clash when the Reds face the Seagulls Liverpool will be hoping to continue their impressive start to the Premier League season when they welcome Brighton to Anfield on Saturday. Jurgen Klopp's men have taken six points from six so far, following up a big 4-0 home win over West Ham with a gritty 2-0 victory away at Crystal Palace. Latest Odds Having won each of their last five matches against this opposition, they are favourites with bet365 to maintain their 100 per cent record here. However, the Seagulls recorded a shock 3-2 win over Manchester United last weekend, and are available at to pull off another upset by coming out on top, or to earn a hard-fought point. Team News Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a long-term injury lay-off, while Dejan Lovren remains some way off full fitness. Lewis Dunk looks set to miss out after suffering an ankle injury versus Manchester United, joining Bruno, Florin Andone and Jose Izquierdo in the treatment room. Goalmouth action Although he has now overseen consecutive victories over Manchester United, Chris Hughton's record against this opposition is far less impressive. The former Norwich City boss has lost all five of his Premier League matches against the Reds, with his sides conceding at least four goals in every game - including nine over two encounters last season. Having scored three goals but conceded twice last weekend, Brighton look set for yet another high-scoring clash against a home team that has scored 35 goals in their last 11 league fixtures in front of their own fans. Predictions Indeed, odds of look generous on over 3.5 goals being scored for the seventh meeting in eight between this pair. http://www.goal.com/en/news/liverpool-v-brighton-betting-tips-latest-odds-team-news/1goily7sbyfrk1akdmvjsxyw8x |

Wilfried Zaha can become Crystal Palace's all-time Premier League top scorer as they face Liverpool on Monday Night Football. Zaha will make Crystal Palace history if he can find the back of the net at Selhurst Park on Monday night, less than a week after he signed a new five-year contract with the Eagles. The news came as a relief to Roy Hodgson, who admitted he had been concerned the club's top scorer from last season could have left during the summer. "He's very, very good; all players have got qualities of course, and there aren't many players who can literally do every single thing," he said. "But he scores top marks in so many aspects of the game, and when it comes to dribbling and manipulating the ball and going past opponents, I put him up there with the very best. Zaha has scored 44 times for Palace across two spells "I think it's been obvious to Wilf all the way through that as far as I and my coaching staff were concerned, we were very anxious for him to sign a new contract and to be happy going into the new season with his new contract. "We've made it clear to him that we were grateful of course for what he did for us last season. He did a lot for us last season with his goals and his assists and the way he played and we've tried to make it clear to him we need a lot more of that going forward." For their opponents Liverpool, Sadio Mane scored twice as Liverpool thrashed West Ham 4-0 at Anfield last weekend, taking an early lead ahead of Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in the goalscoring stakes early on - even if the Egyptian will be favourite to overturn that soon enough. Manager Jurgen Klopp said the trio operate more in a spirit of co-operation than competition, however, with each bagging at least 20 goals in all competition last season. Jurgen Klopp speaks ahead of Liverpool's trip to Crystal Palace He said: "They don't have a real competition, they don't count the other guys or whatever. They enjoy playing together and that's very good. I really love the fact we have the possibility to bring other players in with similar qualities. It is really nice. "It is not about having a competition between strikers, it's about them really loving working together. That is what is obvious I would say. I don't think they are bothering at the moment about specific numbers of goals, they only want to win football games." Team news Max Meyer could make his Crystal Palace debut against Klopp's side. The summer signing from Schalke missed last weekend's 2-0 win at Fulham as he fought for full match fitness. But Hodgson has no fresh injury concerns so can pick from a full-strength squad. Liverpool could bring Joel Matip and Fabinho into their squad for the trip to south London. Fabinho was denied a Liverpool debut last weekend as he was left on the bench against West Ham Defender Matip has not played for the club since March but is back in training after hip trouble and may feature on the bench, with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez in place. Fabinho is also pressing for his debut after failing to make the season-opener against West Ham but Dejan Lovren is out. Opta stats Crystal Palace have lost each of their last three home league games against Liverpool - it's their longest losing home run against the Reds in league competition. After a run of three defeats in a row against the Eagles, Liverpool have won four of their last five Premier League meetings with Crystal Palace. The last Premier League meeting on a Monday between these sides was back in May 2014 - Liverpool were leading 3-0 after 78 minutes before Crystal Palace came back to draw 3-3. Crystal Palace, who have won their last three Premier League games at Selhurst Park, are looking to secure four home top-flight wins in a row for the first time since December 1990 - the fourth game in this run also came against Liverpool. Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha needs one more goal to become the Eagles' all-time highest Premier League goalscorer (currently 23, level with Chris Armstrong). Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke has scored six goals in nine top-flight games against former club Liverpool, more than he has against any other current Premier League team. Merson's prediction What a game! This is a good game, Selhurst Park is a hard place to go, Palace won at Fulham but Liverpool were irresistible against West Ham. This is a big game for Liverpool, Man City will have already won and you've got to win these games if you're going to win the Premier League. I think this is a difficult game for them but I'll just go with Liverpool. PAUL PREDICTS: 1-2 () Popular In the Community http://www.skysports.com/football/c-palace-vs-liverpool/preview/390771 |

The Liga giants go head to head in the ceremonial curtain-raiser for the European club season, which is taking place in Estonia Real Madrid lock horns with city rivals Atletico Madrid in Tallinn on Wednesday as the Spanish giants fight it out for the right to get their hands on the UEFA Super Cup. It marks the official beginning of a new era for Los Blancos as Julen Lopetegui takes charge of his first competitive game since taking over from Zinedine Zidane and the former Spain boss will be eager to get off on the right foot by securing some silverware. The competition has been dominated by Spanish clubs over the course of the last decade, with Champions League holders Real winning three of the last four editions, while Atletico triumphed in 2010 and 2012. RELATED Real arguably hold the bragging rights over Atletico having defeated them in the 2014 and 2016 Champions League finals, so Diego Simeone's men are out to prove a point. Match Preview While essentially ceremonial in nature and serving as a proverbial curtain-raiser for the season, the UEFA Super Cup will have an added bite to it in 2018 as city rivals Real and Atletico face off. The derby is baptism of fire for Lopetegui and it will give a good indication on where Los Blancos are at as they embark on life after Ronaldo and Zidane, who set the bar incredibly high at the Santiago Bernabeu. The departure of Ronaldo has left the squad with a decidedly different complexion and, with Modric potentially following the Portuguese out of the club to Serie A, things are far from ideal for the new coach. However, he is not shying away from the challenge. "Zizou did an extraordinary job and got incredible titles," Lopetegui told a news conference . "But this is the past, now we are focused to keep on getting them, keep making history and we have to try to be better and better in all aspects. "And we'll try to do it, and don't look back. We have to look forward with confidence and work." For Atletico, on the other hand, the game presents a golden opportunity to lay down a marker for the season ahead and a win would do wonders for the squad's confidence as they attempt to build on last season's success, which saw them finish second in La Liga and win the Europa League. Antoine Griezmann's commitment to the team despite interest from Barcelona during the transfer was a major boost and the addition of Thomas Lemar to the lineup means that, unlike Real, Atleti have only been augmented.
