We are not at war with the person of the athiest, which includes his soul, but against his ideology and believe. Care must be taken therefore not to present the message and gospel of peace to them in a hash and violent manner because, that's not what it is. Yes,
there are grave consequences if they don't repent. This must be made clear to them as well that is the complete truth. Sometimes we plead with them, sometimes we stanly warn them. They are not completely lost yet, except God says so, so you need to tread carefully in other not to play them into the hands of the devil.

You can be sure that some of these athiests, will one day become great preachers of God's word. You and I can not tell how God will do that. All we have to do is to passionately pass across the word in its truth and entirety even when it sounds stupid, foolish and unappealing. The world has always seen the gospel like that, but with the Holy Spirit of God, the hardest and toughest of hearts, have been brought down to their knees before Jesus Christ, including reknown athiests. It was never skillful arguments, but by the power of God working with a simple message of salvation.

Sometimes, you as a Christian, may lose an argument, but the word of truth you've given remains with the receiver and can be used by the Holy Spirit without your knowledge. After giving out the word, all you can do next is to pray for them. That's all.
If they bring up falsehood, you counter it, again with love and respect. Remember, you are a new creature, with a different lifestyle and character. That must be clearly expressed too.

The athiest as an individual is not my enemy even when he abuses and curses me, rather, his ideology and believes which is of the devil is my enemy. That's what I need to attack, not the person, because my aim is to save the person and destroy the wicked believe. It's like trying to save a scorpion from the rain, it will attack you, but you must remain who you are regardless.

You can’t win a soul without talking to them. Atheists have genuine questions that you take for granted. They have doubts about your God nd about scriptures. Sparring with atheists is the starting point.

Internationally acclaimed prophet and founder of the Lagos-based Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua has released a documentary on his life to celebrate his 55th birthday on Tuesday, 12 June.

During the sunday service at his church in Egbe area of Lagos, he told his congregation, made up of people of various nationalities, that the documentary contained only 10 percent of his life story.

He added that each of the subsequent editions of the documentary will also contain 10 per cent of his story. The sequel to the documentary will be released in five years from now when he will turn 60. This will be followed by another edition when he turns 70 and will continue until he exhausts the story.

The documentary was screened during the service.

The “Man of the People”, as he is widely addressed , revealed how he was born into a humble family in Arigidi in Ondo State, adding that his life has always been directed by God.

According to him, his mother carried him in her womb for 15 months despite being in labour since the ninth month. He claimed that she was taken to different hospitals, where they were not able to deliver her of the baby until she got to Egbe Medical Centre, which he described as one of the best hospitals in the country at the time.

Joshua claimed that on the seventh day after his birth, when he was to be christened, a piece of stone flew in through the roof from a rock blasting site into the room where he was lying down.



‘’In my village, there are many rocks. The rocks need to be blasted before getting water. There was a company, opposite our house, blasting rocks at the time. The stone flew from the site into the house and landed on the net covering where I was lying. Nobody knew how baby Joshua moved from the net to the other side.

‘’My mother fainted and was in coma. She was carried to a hospital. The guests started voicing different names out of sheer wonder and surprise. Temitope, Temidire, Temiloluwa, Temidayo, Temi this, Temi that. So I chose Temitope out of that name,’’ he said.

His stepmother, who was interviewed in the documentary screened at the church, confirmed the story. She said she had kept the stone as proof of the miracle the family experienced on that day.

‘’Jesus saved you; He kept you safe. I didn’t throw away the stone; it’s right here. It’s a miracle that he performed in this household so we kept it.

‘’The stone broke the roof and landed very close to you. It was indeed a miracle. We praise our wondrous God,’’ she said.

Also, the humble prophet revealed how he attended six different schools within a year and how he started the ministry with a humble beginning.

Joshua, who was visibly excited about his birthday, urged church members to celebrate the date with the less privileged. He, however, said this did not mean only monetary donations as some people need care, smile and love.

‘’There is no way I can be raised in that kind of background and become some superstar.

‘’You must locate those who need what you have. Your love, care, money…look for them. Or even your smile,’’ he concluded.

Two so-called pastors told me I made a mistake throwing out my adulterous wife. Yes, they did. And when I asked them what was the essence of growing up as a Christian if I were to "accept her ways." To be honest ,those around us can sometimes clearly see us making bad decisions. It does not suffice to say NO,they should go ahead and explain why not.

As for you, pastors are responsible for their flock. They can’t watch you go wrong and look the other way. The whole point of submitting yourself to a Pastor is for leadership. What they normally do is they call a couple having issues and try to counsel them.

Many people have been decieved into terrible marriages or prevented from marrying a good spouse in the name of "My Pastor said" or "GOD said".

I believe there is so much hypocrisy surrounding this matter. Lets face it..how come people don't seek GOD's face or ask a pastor for confirmation if the prospective spouse is an extreme opposite of what they desire..?

How many educated ladies will bother to ask GOD or pastor to confirm if a known armed robber is the one should such woos for marriage?

In the entire scriptures, there were only two instances where GOD expressly gave a clear direction concerning choosing a spouse and in those two instances, it was a very difficult choice and that was when God commanded the prophet Hosea, “Go, take to yourself a wife of whoredom and have children of whoredom.Hosea 1:2. And the second instance was when GOD sked Joseph to marry Mary who was already pregnant.

GOD respects our freedom of choice and for the Christians, we are encouraged to be yoked with fellow Believers and as far as GOD is concerned, A man has the sole responsibility to find a wife and once he finds one and marries her, he obtains favour from GOD. Proverbs 18:22.

The summary of this piece is that we should stop deceiving ourselves by saying 'Prophet said, My pastor said, Alfa said...' because in the real sense, it is our mind telling us what we want to hear. You can rely on your intuition or peculiar signs that gives you confirmation but we should stop hiding behind those words 'GOD SAID'

As a man,it is your paramount duty to search so pray to GOD for guidance and as a lady, pray to GOD that the type of man you desire finds you.

Just as we can see from the scriptures,if GOD ever tells you to marry a certain person then it is most certain that the choice of spouse will be very difficult for you to accept and this is the way you will know that indeed, it is GOD's choice for you

Not just in church, I’ve seen this even in formal meetings.

Call a group of 200 and very few will take the front row. Seems to be psychological. Sitting behind someone gives you a semblance of privacy or protection from whatever.

Now,in any sensible church shouldn’t have any disadvantage from sitting at the back. If there’s bad sound then just remove the back seats till you style up

I was in an argument with a friend and coworker on certain things in the Bible that no one have been able to explain, he tried explaining but I wasn't convinced with the answers.
Here are some of the questions.

1) in Genesis 7:2, Noah was instructed to take seven animals each. My question is how was he (Noah) able to take seven animals each knowing they are more than 8.7 million species of Animals.
And if everyone on earth but Noah’s family was killed in a great flood, did Noah’s kids sleep with each other? Isn’t this a sin?

2) Why did Bible not talk much about the father of Abraham or how he was born ( The Bible doesn't say where Abraham was born. Abraham first appears in the Bible in Genesis 11:27) , secondly Bible says ( Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about'” (Genesis 22:2). Why didn't Bible recommended Ishmael as the son of Abraham, why only Isaac.

3) In Genesis 19:26 But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. Did anyone witness Lot's wife becoming a pillar of salt when she looked back at Sodom? If yes who's the person that witnesses her becoming pillar of salt. (Note: Her husband or kids didn't look back)

4) Job 1:1-22 (Job 1:20–22 God talked to Satan again. He said everything had been taken from Job. And Job was still righteous. But Satan said Job would not be righteous if he were very sick. So God said Satan could make Job sick. But Satan could not kill him.)
Question What’s the deal with Job? Does god and Satan normally sit around talking about how to test people to see if they are loyal to god? What is with that?

5) In Joshua (1-24) Why have the Jews go across the promised land killing everyone and everything in sight? Isn’t that the first genocide ever recorded theoretically?

6) Where is the tree of life? From reading Genesis it would be safe to assume it still exists. Where is it? Don’t you think someone would have noticed a flaming sword out in the middle of nowhere?

7) Why didn’t Jesus have any female disciples (or did he) And was Eve really to blame for everything?

8.) Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Question: Does it mean God knows what we will become in life and also know how we gonna die?

Please all I want are answers and not insults, I'm a Christian who's confused about some certain things in the Bible and thinking of becoming an Atheist because of all the unanswered questions. Thanks
