i don't even know where i left off with this. smiley
Your argument states categorically that Amazons are the females who wore trousers earlier. We all know many women just started wearing trousers about 50 to 70 years ago; Basically after the World War, when poverty drove women out to do men's work. Coupled with the Industrial Revolution.
If we rest on your argument, amazons were either myth or the very people Deut 22:5 says not to copy if we follow the interpretation of the pastor in the OP. So any of the ways, it is still not For but Against.

I think there is evidence Amazons existed:
https://news.artnet.com/art-world/amazon-women-burial-russia-1760256

You mean women all over God’s beloved universe started wearing trousers 50-70 years ago?

Around Moses’ Deut 22:5 men wore no pants so women were not being forbidden from pants.

Nice one OP...

Just wait for the 21st century Pharisees to attack you with their pap filled skulls...

Ask them where God demanded for money as tithe... No answer

Ask them where Jesus and the Apostles collected tithe from the believers... Error 404, not found

Ask them where the early church practiced monetary tithing and first fruit... Nowhere to be found in the scriptures....

Yet you see them trooping out in their ignorance for Daddy GO's offering, Shiloh offering, monetary tithes and first fruit offering that has no scriptural backing whatsoever...

Tithing started in 567AD in the Catholic Church through the Synod of Macon... But common sense would always elude this people to see that it was not something practiced by Apostles or the believers before that time...

Good one. There simply is no requirement to tithe in New Covenant. All this carrot and stick nonsense is predatory

Religion / Tithing Mumu by M0ron: 12:59pm On Jun 13, 2019
This is not my "handwriting o, but Please read...

When business isn't moving. The first question is; how faithful are you in tithing?.

When your car is stolen, same question.

When you can't afford school fees, you are still asked, how is your tithing life?

When you are ill, you are told to check your tithing.

Fruit of the womb, do you tithe?

Lack of job that is a national challenge, you will be told that you aren't employed because you didn't tithe.

Accident. Are you faithful in your tithe?

Marital issues; you have to tithe to experience marital bliss.

Singles trusting to find life partner; when you tithe, it leads the way.

Nepa disconnect your light due to accumulated bills... Tithe your way out.

Jesus nor the Apostles never linked any challenge to tithing.

In the entire new testament, the hungry where fed. Sick healed, demons casted out, dead raised. Families reconciled. None was preconditioned on tithe.

They had daily distributions of food to widows and the helpless. No poor man was told he was poor for lack of tithing.

Not even in the PARABLE of the rich man and Lazarus.

Giving is taught. It never louded their gospel.

Christ and Him crucified was it and the joy of salvation reflected their giving pattern.

They sold land.
They sold houses...
They brought all and drop it at the apostles feet.

Apostles didn't pack it to individual account or opened private schools to their credit. No, no records.

What is recorded was that DISTRIBUTION was made to all who have needs... And the outcome was NONE WAS LACKING AMONG THEM.

it's evil to enter ministry as a poor man, gather all the offerings and tithe, use some to publish your books, force it on them as the book to read for the blessings of the month.

The book was published by their donations. Sold to the donor, gather more incomes, set a publishing industry. Publish more.

Sold to them tagging each month blessings to it.

The congregants kept buying as a tool of blessing or paying for blessings in the form of tithing.

You gather all the proceeds as the Apostle, prophet or General overseer and wax rich.

Then you bragged, I am richer than all your tithe and offering put together.

You bragged, I am blessed beyond repair because I am a giver and a faithful tither.

Meanwhile even your offering and your so called tithe is from the one they gave that you manage to give back.

I admit you have sense.
I admit you are smart.
I admit you can use people's head.

But, we can't watch you call them poor for lack of tithing. They are poor because you create a system that channel all their efforts to you.

If any is under a curse is you not them.

They trusted you in God's name.
You cheated them in God's name.

Summary.

Kingdom wealth is for kingdom redistribution.
Is for all that have needs because it's donated by all and should be for all.

COLONIALISM is to pack all for your self and your pleasures. Colonialism is to use the offering of all and settle yourself against them.

Don't worry, I am poor because I am against tithing. In fact, that is why my church is on facebook. .

I repeat,
Give.
Give
Give.

10,20,30-1000%. You are blessed to give. You don't give to be blessed but, your generosity out of service to God and His people is called the labor of love.

God is not unrighteous to forget...

Finally.

Jesus nor the Apostles never linked any challenge to tithing. We must not.

Christ is the gospel. The all in all of it and in Him, there is no variableness nor shadow of turning.

Bless you.

Apostle Phil, thank you for taking time to write this. God bless you sir!

Religion / Re: Pope Francis Urges Nations To Welcome Refugees by M0ron: 4:34am On Jun 23, 2018
olamariamjonez:
Pope Francis is urging the nations of the world to take in as many refugees as possible.

The pontiff told reporters aboard the papal plane that he believes it is incumbent on governments to “welcome, to accompany, to place, to integrate” as many refugees as their societies can reasonably accommodate.

“Each country must do this with the virtue of government, which is prudence, and take in as many refugees as it can, as many as it can integrate, educate, give jobs to,” Francis said during the in-flight press conference, according to The Associated Press.

“We are living through a flood of refugees who are fleeing war and hunger,” the pope said.

More than 33,000 people have risked their lives to reach Europe by sea in 2018 so far, according to the United Nations Refugee Agency. About 771 are estimated to have drowned during the journey.

Francis was responding to a journalist’s question aboard the papal airplane during a trip back to Rome from Geneva.

A reporter asked him to share his thoughts on the current crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, and the influx of migrants attempting to enter Europe.

Religion / Re: Woman Allegedly Delivers Cat During Deliverance Service In Delta Church [PHOTOS] by M0ron: 5:42am On Jun 22, 2018
11Ebiscoo:
A woman (name unknown) has allegedly delivered a cat during a deliverance service at the God of Action Liberation Ministry, a.k.a, Shallom Embassy in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

DAILY POST gathered that the woman had not menstruated for the past three years since she became pregnant.

She delivered the cat which reportedly died minutes after it came out from the woman’s womb.

An Ughelli based Journalist, Ode Williams who claimed to be a member of the church said,”It’s not fake. I was there live and I witnessed it.”

When DAILY POST contacted the General Overseer of God in Action Liberation Ministry, a.k.a, Shallom Embassy, Prince Ovie Emmanuel to speak on the miracle which has left many in doubt, he confirmed the report saying,”It happened yesterday at about 8pm during a programme”

The General Overseer who spoke through a cleric of the church, Pastor Great Otejiri said,”It is a spiritual thing that cannot be explained. It’s a supernatural occurence by the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of light took it out of the woman.”

The cleric who could not give the full names of the woman in question, however, invited our correspondent to attend the ongoing programme to get more details of the development so as to quench the doubts from the public.

DAILY POST, however, managed to obtain the photograph of the woman and the cat at the time she delivered inside the church.
