Why wouldn't he, we were not in a clearly favorable position. You watched the match. We were red carded and we needed to believe that what we had on bench could bring much needed results which still didn't work with the 8 mins added time.

Plus we had minor injury worries with oshoala.

I believe these reasons were good enough to make changes. If not why make any in the first instance.

It's not about shots and possession its about getting a result. We needed a result and the best 11 were on the pitch for that. Barring injuries, we were not down, we had the game just where we wanted to have it, it was still favorable to us.

So why make a substitute if it cannot improve the state of things. Except I was gunning for a win or I doubted my defense ability to keep up with the pressure, then I'd make one.

I think the coach did what many good coaches would have done. Kept the team compact like that. There was no need bringing a fresh leg which can equally be calamitous to our play.

Like I knew that's what you were gonna say. He needed no changes we were dealing with those French substitutes well. If I were him, I could even play the 90 mins without any sub or probably substitute oshoala who didn't seem too fit as the game went on

We are playing with 10 women and France is still struggling like this. France certainly wouldn't go in this tournament

But that's not what bothers me, they said almost all their team players come from Lyon who are women champion in Europe yet they struggle against us. This only means that we have the raw talents to match these female teams including USA. we just need a proper structure, say proper female league open to neighboring African countries at lest with good incentives and perks.

I guess the french side have been asked to try shooting outside the box.

They need to play aggressive in the first 5 to 10 mins of the second half, because the French side will want to quickly put pressure and technical team words to effect.
If we can hold our own with this period, the french side might just be settling with only keeping possession for a draw and we can draw the first blood.

The first half of this match just confirms that we are the best African side in the tournament.

They could win this game. The French team will tire out by the 70th or 80th minute a good counter attack for Nigeria will make the difference

They need to limit the fouls they commit hence they need limit the errors that make then commit this fouls.

You see if tjat assumption is founded just on perception then it's clear cut bias, prejudice and therefore racism.

If there have been isolated incidents to form that opinion then that's very unfair to paint every body with the same brush.

However, if over the past three decades there have been numerous players continously caught for age cheating on the African continent. In addition some countries in Africa have even been banned by FIFA from age grade competitions as a result.

It is therefore plausible not improbable that the there is a good possibility that the player may have fabricated his age to gain undue advantage.

It's not prejudice but a reflection of part present and continous acts of age cheating across the African continent.

There is what we call profiling and it is not a crime. Blacks have been proven to cheat or falsify ages more often and when one assumes that for them it is largely based on their precedence

Our players are a bit rigid in their mentality and play. But it's good if they come out with a point at least
