Angelfrost: Read and comprehend sir... If I were truly bigoted, I would not even bother to be apologetic ('Hate to come off as Bigoted')...
To your question, yes indeed. They are my people, same as the ones I justifiably and rightly criticized above. We are all Nigerians... The same way I criticized those above, is the same way I criticize my fellow straying and fraudulent tribesmen, that's exactly how I criticize brainwashed and moronic Northerners, etc... I don't know how to be diplomatic or economical with the truth!!!
Defend our people??! Are you confused sir??!... Defending individuals who get innocently caught up in the web of evil across the globe is not, can never be, the same as pretending that we don't know the constant and continued proclivities of our citizens in certain parts of the world. The latter is nothing but hypocrisy and self-denial.
If it is okay to call out erring and corrupt leaders, why hold back in calling out citizens who deliberately choose to smear our collective identities in ills across the globe??! Maybe, we should defend the currently "oppressed" Raymond Igbalode in USA... oppressed is different from pretending away the notoriety of a lot of our people abroad. I willing do the former, and will never stoop to do the latter. Thank you. You are actually a bigot if not you won't be having a business with the region where they hailed from. I rather you criticize any Nigerian who commits crime than talking about his region as if it has anything to do with it |

chiol: Cosmetic development! There is light in streets but non at home. He commissioned solar street light in Afikpo, where there has been no electricity since 2015.
I pay about 50k tax monthly to the state government, yet I have no electricity in my house. Pipe borne water is a no go area. Schools and hospitals are zero. After paying huge tax, I still pay heavily to provide these aminities for myself. What then is the need for paying taxes?
The only development you know is unnecessary substandard flyovers, concrete roads and disco lights in three roundabouts in Abakaliki, which he is being used to enrich himself, as he is the sole supplier, contractor and supervisor. It is a pity! My friend go and sit down. You talk like a sadist |

boladale123: I cry for my dear state Kwara, the Sakari's have plunge us into the realm of underdevelopment. So clueless and classless, yet they would claime to have been schooled in the UK. Another clown is here again without ideas. The whole of Ilorin is nothing better than Ajegunle slum. If ilorin township is as developed by 50% of what I see here ,then ABS would be a good.
I salute your courage and leadership qualities Mr Governor, may God protect you for Nigeria. Amen. One thing people don't know is that any development in any part of Nigeria is good for all. I really wish we have many good leaders in the country like this guy and a few others. |

Ubongdemaga: What is the difference between soul and spirit? The spirit is the real you while the soul is your mind, your emotion and your will. So Man is a spirit and lives in a body. That is why you have spirit soul and body. When one dies the soul leaves with the spirit while the body returns to the earth. In other words the body houses both the spirit and the soul. |

Rich4god: This issue of bandits is getting out of hand. O remembered creating a thread about their activities on our highway and some people called me iPod youth... Someone even said that "how many are the bandits sef". Now look at the havoc they are causing. These guys, just like boko haram are not Nigerians. They have a sinister agenda in this country. All these while they have been kidnaping and collecting ransom, it's not like they buy houses and cars. They use those money to buy more weapons and recruit more hands. In the south, they attack under the cover of Fulani herdsmen and miyetti Allah will come out to defend them. Now they are attacking the north and the south don't care cos they see it as the problem of the north only.
If all Nigerians don't put hands together and make our govt to do their job, one day these guys could be too armed and too numerous for our security forces to handle. But then no one can stop them. They are Fulanis who are subjugating the natives in order to possess their lands |

Politics › Re: JUST IN!!! Gov. Umahi Begins Construction Of International Airport (photos) by mabea: 7:10pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
TripleOh7: You don't know my state, so you can't justify your statement.
Besides, what I said is the truth irrespective of where I come from.
Do you think that airlines are going to operate that airport?
Do you guys even know what it takes to create an international airport?
How many people are entering Ebonyi state or leaving Ebonyi state for international travels that warrants an international airport for that tiny state?
You think an airline like Emirates or Virgin will come and park its Boeing on your tarmac and be waiting for when it will fill up?
Let's be realistic please.
That money will go a long way to help create small, medium and large scale entrepreneurs.
This will boost the economic activities in the state and then we can now talk of an airport.
Not everyone who is criticizing this this hates the state.
God knows I don't have any reason to.
I cursed Aregbesola for starting an airport project that I predicted could never be completed and if it was, it'd be a huge waste of resources.
Eventually, the useless b*stard couldn't even pay salaries.
Let's tell ourselves the truth even if it hurts.
This isn't Igbo versus Yoruba.
This is our us versus our useless and wicked leaders. All right. Well your points are not out of place however, knowing how Umahi operates I can assure you that this project will be completed in real time. The economic side of it may not show immediately but trust me it might just be a choice destination for other users from Abia, Imo, cross River etc. Definitely it will come good. I heard Ethiopia Airlines has a stake in it somehow |
Politics › Re: Anambra Or Abia:which Is More Industrialized. by mabea: 3:57pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
gwafaeziokwu: A lot of chemical manufacturing companies are found in nook and crannies of Aba and they serve local needs. What boost production most is the availability of raw materials ,do the maths and see understand why Aba is the SME headquarters of Nigeria. The Enyimba industrial city is going to be the game changer in the Aba economy. The $430million deal around December last year is a life line. Anybody that want to invest there should do so now because once all is set, the price will sky rocket.
Anambra is on a league of its own thanks to visionary leadership from APGA. They are matching the Igbo entrepreneural spirit with government support through ANSIPPA. They getting all the big investors mostly indigenous industries. Enugu is not left out, though land might be a bit costlier, Imo with the new gas plant is getting some but they need more deliberate support from the state government. Ebonyi is getting the required attention of all thanks to Umahi.
So nothing stops anyone from moving down East. You have the population, distribution channel to all parts of Nigeria and beyond, immediate local consumption, name it.
GO EAST!!!! Good one bro |

Nna keep shut. You think everyone is ignorant like you. You can't bring evidence now, only denial
Most of you think alaigbo would be better off alone, forgetting that Igbos are naturally traders and need acceptance to do their businesses outside the south east. Most of the monies funneled back home are not made in the south east mind you. Maybe you guys think the Niger Deltans will follow Biafra... You better get that deception out of your skull. What else is in the south east? Is it Agriculture? What? What's the quantity of oil in the South east and can people survive on it?
Ondo state is the 5th largest oil producer outside the Niger Delta state, whereas the S/E states only contribute about 2% of oil production. Get ur facts right before jumping up and down. Ignorance is a disease. Well you sure have a very bad opinion |
