abduleez1: True bro. That's how life IS. The power of pussy_ is real bro.
There is a double standard, no doubt. But it eventually gets exposed.
Today, women are now paying huge sums in divorce if they are richer than their husbands.
Social media has put a lot of things to light. Take Ghostbusters last movie. A rubbish movie that wanted to sell on m feminism alone. Social media rubbished the movie before it was even released. The movie bombed when released.
mekaprime: Alright i get you now, the problem was with the animation itself. We are kinda alike, just that am more tolerant. The low res animation was equally a turn off to me, it was the main reason i was skeptic about seeing the movie in the first place.
All the same, it's basically a WB thing, they are known for making low resolution animated flicks or better still, cartoonish animations. It's best you avoid em'. A high resolution animation of that movie would have been total badass.
Low resolution?
Is that what you call all the DC superman and Batman animations?
When I said Pixar-like, I meant high res animations like Toy Story franchise, Minions, Wall-E, The Incredibles, Mowgli... you know, stuff like that. I don't mind gore, as long as it's artful and relevant to the story.
The low res animation used in MK: Scorpion's Revenge is a downer. I was expecting high res stuff like MK 2 cutscenes, instead I got an animation that wouldn't look out of place in a 90s comic book sketch.
It's not worth the hype.
Come, is this a joke?
What do you think award winning 2d animations look like?
Liposure: OCEAN'S 8 (2018) It's been awhile i saw several screen goddesses feature in one drama. Not bad sha, considering the gender of the gang. My best part was the heist. The precision with which it was executed blew me away
DriggityDre: NL is a terrible place. I can't even comprehend how much fake news I saw today and yesterday. If I try to debunk it, zombies argue without seeing reason. I'll stop trying. It gives me headaches.
You can counteract this by posting intelligent and factual threads.
I notice a thread of mine has been removed or hidden. It might be that I broke a rule, still one would expect the courtesy of being given a reason why, but nothing! My thread just disappeared. And its not the first time posts of mine have disappeared with no reason given despite writing to request one!!
Could someone kindly let me know why my thread was removed or hidden please? Knowing might help me break them less often.
mekaprime: Truth is i was never really offended, cause i saw it as a "you" kinda thing. Yeah, i see it as your kryptonite, something you consciously can't help, so, i was never rankled by the statement.
For you to acknowledge that you did something that might hurt other people & try to make up, by apologizing is a step in the right direction as regards your intention to turning a new leaf, and i must commend you for that.
A problem identified & acknowledged is a problem half solved, wish you the very best at confronting & surmounting your flaws.
You should wait, so you respectfully dont shunt the queue, that's why, lol. Now, stop distracting me anymore please. Thank you, lol, and appreciate your understanding and co-op.
odinson1: When religious people quote the Bible to prove God exists, atheists say the Bible is the claim--not the evidence. If that is hard to understand, here is an easy way to think about it. If God is invented, the Bible CANNOT be true. So, when you assume the Bible is true, you are also assuming God exists. Assuming the very thing you are trying to prove is a circular argument and circular arguments can be safely ignored. Simple. The Bible proves people wrote a book about a god. That is all.
I just want to apologise for my attitude during our debate about police shooting.
Everybody has a weakness. Mine is aggressive debating. I am very good at debating and trolling. Unfortunately, I do tend to mock people when I am arguing with them. It is a bad habit I'm trying to stop.
Sometimes, I wonder if it is a blessing or a curse. Looking back, I have truly frustrated a lot of people on this thread.
Anyhow, I'm sorry. I'm trying to turn over a new leaf.
DriggityDre: Just an observation. I imagine that as the cause of abundance of poor plots in this recent generation of film-making. Just a personal theory.
Let's poke holes in that theory.
1. An abundance of poor plots could be caused by a saturated market of plots. There is not much new ideas anymore. So many plots have been written
2. An abundance of poor plots could be a balance or a result of having more movies made now than were ever made in the 80s or 90s. More movies today means more good ones and also more bad ones.
3. An actor who wants too much money will always be replaced by the market. Jared Leto is not the only person that can play the joker.
4. Movies are a financial risk. A big budget movie could lose millions of dollars. This is also why film companies are very cautious with scripts.
5. Indie movies take a more artistic style since they are not too much of a risk with lower budgets.
DriggityDre: TBH, I think the problem is that everyone wants to be a movie star/director; and get quick cash. No one is putting in adequate work anymore. Though, there are still some recent great movies.
Are you speaking from experience as someone who knows what happens behind the scenes?
aadoiza: Hollywood is definitely going through retrogression. It seems to be heading down to the level of Nollywood, for they seem not to be able to produce great movies these days without the infusion of magic.
ARGUMENT 4 (DAY-4 20/APRIL/20) A PROBLEM OF TRAGEDY EVIL AND NATURAL DISASTERS
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? Epicurus
A great question people ask when tragedy and natural disasters happen is where is God? Religious theists can not answer this question adequately as it provides a great problem with the theory of a "good and just" God.
-Why does God allow terrible things to happen to good people? -Why does God allow innocent children to die of starvation in Africa? -Why does God allow natural disasters like earthquakes to kill both sinners and innocent people indiscriminately?
There are four flawed religious answers to these questions
1) God gives man freewill. We shouldnt Judge God based on what man does with his freewill! -A natural disaster has no freewill and there is nothing man can do with his freewill against an earthquake (except run/help survivors) -An omniscient God can not give freewill. Such a God knows everything- what will happen and when it will happen- predetermination!
2) God is punishing the wicked (Gays destroy society false argument ) -Worse things even happen to those people who worship him and innocent children. -An earthquake doesnt care if you are good or bad. -Such a God can not be just. Why not Judge people individually rather than kill indiscriminately with floods and disaters?
3)God is doing in for a greater good! We are not omnipotent and so we can't judge -Really? God couldnt find a better way of achieving the greater good than to let children drown in a tsunami -Greater good for who? The societies ravaged by earthquakes? The dead victims?
4) God is not involved in these tragedies! -Erm, he impotent or selfish not to help.
Atheist debunking christians on Hurricanes and God
MuttleyLaff: I understand. Of course, once the truth hits you, it will shut you up, lol. Hopefully you wont continue to carefree ignorantly headstrongly, nonchalantly, flippantly and generalising be using the word "religion" after the fyi, lol
Still waiting for you to define pure religion.....
