I wish I had money. I love everything about this car. This is the only option of big daddy I can buy. |
Bidemhy:You won't even say your location till I chat you up? Seriously? What are you hiding? You come to make a public advertisement on nairaland, yet all you say is chat me up. Sounds like what a scammer will say. May I ask why you came to nairaland in the first place? Well let whoever wants to "chat you up" go ahead. Happy selling. |
Price and location |
Willyguyy:Bros, sell that thing for 25k. If u no sell am, I go come steal am for night. So better sell am now. ![]() |
carlede:Can't you help ur buyer if he's not in a place he can get more games? He can pay for the extra games. |
carlede:What are the pre-installed games? Can you add more games for ur buyer? |
So I ordered a new lens and I'm still expecting it. I hope it solves my problem. |
abiodunbright:OK, I have a hacked ps3 and I need games. Problem is I am in Niger state. How do u suggest I get it? |
Fvckmoderators:Now you are being 100% transparent. If every seller on nairaland is as transparent as this, we won't have reasons to be scared. I sympathize with you on the car you bought. At least you know how it feels to get home after spending ur hard-earned money only to go home with crap. You know how disappointed I would've felt if I bought this ps3 with "minor adjustments" in my mind, only to get home and see YLOD and I don't have the technical skills to fix it. It definitely won't be fair on me and I'll end up cursing and cursing. |
In this country where everyone is trying to scam everyone. You won't blame buyers for being skeptical. Words like "small issues", can as well mean "it's a dead system". "power issues" can as well mean "it starts smoking once you power it". "external fan" can mean I have to buy a standing fan for it. See why details are very necessary? |
Fvckmoderators:I'm not saying you are not o. I'm just saying you should be detailed enough so that anyone that reads your advert will not have plenty questions. |
Fvckmoderators:Here you go again with more complex statements. What do you mean by "minor adjustments"? |
Fvckmoderators:Because most ppl don't understand what you mean by "fan is plugged externally" and "power issues". Maybe if you explain that in ur original post, you will get a buyer. As for me, all I need now is games in soft copy. I would've told u to sell ur hard disk to me, but then I can't read the contents. |
So I was able to tear the Blu-ray drive apart. I ran a disc in it while it's open. I noticed the red light and the blue light come on. Red light when I put a DVD disc, and blue light when I put a Blu-ray disc. This means the system is working right, but not just getting any info. I cleaned the lenses again and it didn't help. I'm thinking of getting a new lens, since I can't change the whole Blu-ray drive without the marriage and wedding stuff ![]() |
hopefulLandlord:Krissjones is his monicker. |
So I ordered for a new ribbon cable and it just arrived. I inserted it and nothing changed. The clock symbol still does its thing when a disc is inserted. Failed attempt!

Hello ppl. Before anyone comes here to call me stupid for not hacking my ps3, this is not about finding a way out. It is about FIXING it. I already hacked my ps3 and I'm playing the games I have in it. But I just don't like having things that are crippled and walking with support. I love fixing things. As long as there's a solution to making it work again, I'll find it. Also, I know I'm probably gonna spend more than the cost of a new one, but the new one won't give me the happiness of "I fixed it". It is a joy that only engineers, technicians and ppl still love fixing things will understand. So if you enjoy fixing things or have similar problem, follow me on this quest. |
hopefulLandlord:It doesn't read discs. The seller swore to his forefathers that it reads discs. Now he has turned off his phone for 2wks now. I guess we can't trust ppl anymore. |
Fvckmoderators:Hdd size? |
oluwatobi75:Why didn't you post this advert, 3wks ago when I needed one. Now I've bought one that I'm not happy with. |
Fvckmoderators:I already bought one, and I'm not happy with it and the seller. It is the reason why this post is up. |
Any ideas? |
OK, I just noticed the clock symbol circles when a disc is inserted. It does that a couple of times and then stops. But no error messages. |
crafteck:Now you are speaking my language. Essentially, what you are saying is my drive is dead and needs to be changed. Then the new drive has to be remarried (after divorce ) to the console. Did I get it right? I was really hoping it was the ribbon cable connecting the drive to the motherboard. Cos it looks sick. |
crafteck:Sir, I never told you my console is not hacked. If you are ok avoiding your problems instead of solving them, then that is you. I prefer fixing my problems. Thanks for the advice though. |
felixdanielthed:That's a very lovely offer, but no thanks. I never asked for a buyer. All I want is to fix it. |
PS3 Slim Cech-2003a Not Reading Discs Yeah, I know, this is like talking about VW beetle in 2019. That aside, I need help. My ps3 slim doesn't read any discs. When I insert my disc, absolutely nothing happens on the screen and no error messages. The blue light in front of the disc slot remains on and I can feel the console vibrating nonstop till I press eject. Note; it accepts and ejects the disc smoothly. Please, engineers in the house, I need help on the likely cause, so I don't go changing things that are not spoilt. Thanks in advance. |

I have 30k and I need to exchange it with a good ps3 slim. Who wants to take my offer. |
sulasa07:Did you try it? Did you play GoW with it on a medium spec phone? Was it fast enough? |
Tried playing GoW with Damonps2 on my small redmi 5+ and it was too slow. Will try again when I get a better phone. |
