Hey dudes... Waddup.. OBS had been time consuming.. Bt my greatest fear is here.. It seems am being posted to benin city... Yes everybody wants to be in town but definitely not in a newspaper press.. Coz they may not pay.. When i peeped,my own read OBSERVER NEWSPAPER ;(

Lol... The funniest part of this story was the reaction of the platoon leader of d victim.. We were all vexing when suddenly he ran out frm d bathroom naked with soap all over... Ladies n children whr all over.. He didnt even seem to notice he was naked.. He just ran into the crowd and was ranting 'ITS WRONG' ! And d weird part of it was that nobody seemed to notice he was naked.. When he was tired,he strolled bk into d bathroom..

pls i think i think i hv bin posted to observer newspaper.. They collected our names @ OBS and wrote our PPA.. I managed to peep and saw 'observer newspaper' on my name.. They hv sent d list to computer room.. I jst hope its a good place

I was in dat same camp 2 years ago. Nobody liked it initially but majority felt like staying longer wen we were leaving owing to the fun we all had. I will advice you maintain a positive mindset and be good.

If u are talented and outstanding in some camp activities(like band,sports, OBS, Dance and Drama etc ) you will get posted to Benin. I was part of the OBS crew and was also one of the outstanding representatives of my platoon (6), where i took part in the drama competition. Remember to diligently seek God too cos he holds the key to all breaktrus.
Since there is no option for 1yr, make the best out of what you have where others are complaining.

People hustle to be posted to Benin because it's the most developed part of Edo state with opportunities for professional courses if you so wish to enrol for any. Some people where posted to villages and ended up with State awards, so don't be desperate. Don't pay anyone either in cash or kind to be posted to Benin.

Wherever God makes you lie will be your green pasture.

its not compulsory but necessary ... Obs is quite different.. U can be in as many groups as u can accomodate.. But OBS will neva leave u wit tym for oda activities including ur platoon which is vry painfull... Unless u r nt a permanent member or u are a freelancer or on shifts.. And u wil mis al d fun in ur platoon...
I leave my hostel by 4.30 every morning to OBS nd come bk after lightsout.. @ past 10pm.. D only reason ppl knw me in camp is because m vry noisy n social...
And to join OBS is nt an easy task... About 500 came for auditions.. We were only 10 selected! Stress!
But am nt discouraged though coz i lv wt am doing since i most likely would be posted to a favourable place

ya i joined OBS nd it has been hell since den.. If u r thinkn of joining OBS... Beta rethink.. It is not a place of rest... Yes... U may miss parades but thats because u r definitely busy... Especially if u r in charge of a department
